   Our first visit to Tom's. The food was great, service was excellent. We are super keen to return and eat again and try some time at the bar in the very inviting bar stools. The bartender was looking super slick in his shirt and tie. Very classy. Will definitely be back!

   We had a delicious dinner last night. Lobster tacos were divine and a friend had the salmon Rueben, which she also raved about. The food passing us on the way to other tables all looked scrumptious too. Highly recommend!

   Kim, our server, was fabulous. Food and drinks were delicious and thoughtfully presented. I’ve never had a bad or even average experience at Tom’s. The freshness and quality of the seafood always brings me back. This is, however, the first time I’ve ordered the scallops. They had the most beautiful sear and were cooked to perfection. The texture was right on. I just loved their unique dish with diced sweet potatoes, caramelized onions and a fabulous sweet bourbon glaze. I was impressed. Yum and yum! Their presentation of a Spanish coffee is my favorite, never had a better one anywhere : )

    Food tastes great ! The Rockefeller oysters were incredible as an appetizer. My husband got the scallops and they tasted amazing ! Our waitress was a very sweet lady named Kim ! Thanks for an amazing first time experience at toms oyster bar !!

    I came here specifically to celebrate my birthday. The food was great, but this is the second time I’ve come and been disappointed by the service. I had recently renewed my license and left the renewal paper at home. I understand the restaurant could not serve me alcohol because of this, but waitstaff and the manager lingered by my table most the night, continually staring at me throughout the night. I got the impression they thought I was trying to sneak alcohol or something. It was quite noticeable and made the whole experience unpleasant for our whole party. My friend had also ordered a second drink and it was never brought out.

    We have been going to Tom's for years. 3 drinks, a dozen oysters, and 2 fish and chips came to $167.00. Not sure we will be returning as it is becoming very pricey.

    Great fresh oysters. The best around. Rest of the menu is OK just make sure there’s something for you. It’s abou the oysters.

    Our server was so good, but the food fell short. Not at all surprised that the best course was the raw oysters. However, my scallop dish was drenched in maple syrup and the lobster rolls were bland. We determined that it was overpriced bar food unfortunately. This place has opportunity to serve a high quality product; tonight it fell short.

    Bourbon scallops were prepared perfectly. Creative Gin drinks also well done. Friend had a salad that was decent. Overall solid experience will be going back for sure.

    We had to wait 40 minutes for our reservation of four. The manager did not want to move two people who occupied a four person table for hours. We were given a table appetizer and drinks. Three of four people in our party didn't drink.

    New Year’s Day lunch with friends. Ample cups of delicious clam chowder, along with shared shrimp tacos and exceptional French fries. We would assuredly return. The place is small. Reservations recommended. As mentioned to my friends, this is more than just oysters but they can enjoyed here too. With full bar, service is great, and menu has diverse options. Connecting to Ale Mary’s, we liked their colorful holiday decor better and stopped in for a peek. Nice lunch!

    Very busy for a Monday, seemed like only two gentlemen were working and were incredibly busy. I’ve been a server so we are patient as we can be. It took a long time for everything it felt like. 10 mins or longer for a canned beer I could have drank at home. The lobster rolls were incredibly mid and were essentially lobster bits in mayo with some scallions and celery. I would try something else next time if I went again. Just felt like a lot of chaos when I just wanted to eat dinner after the zoo lights.

    I came with my boyfriend for my birthday on a Thursday night. It was actually pretty busy and kinda loud but I didn’t mind that. Our servers name was John, he was very nice. I got 12 Chesapeake oysters, the spicy tuna crunch roll and my boyfriend got a burger. I loved my food, was actually surprised how good the sushi was. Service was good, the drinks were delicious. We tried a Spanish coffee which was very nice but kinda pricey for $15. I had a blue lemonade drink which I loved, when I ordered another one it was a different kind then the first one I got even though I had order the same one. John took that off our bill which is very much appreciated. Overall would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to sit at the bar and drink or dinning with some friends.
