We had a great night. The food was delicious. Our server was very friendly and accommodating.
The food was amazing and the wait staff was phenomenal!
We hadn't eaten at Tommy's since pre Covid. We were pleased to have a meal every bit as good as any we had previously. The food was marvelous and we had a very pleasant time.
Food was delicious. Our server Glen was very attentive and helpful. Will definitely go back.
Tommy's is a solid choice. They were short staffed on the night we went to dinner and the waiter conveyed this to us several times in a tactful manner. The baked oysters Tommy were good as was the bruschetta. The duck, the chicken piccata, and Gulf fish almandine were very good selections. Tommy's has a good wine list.
Food was sub par for Italian cuisine. Chicken Marsala was not traditional at all. Perhaps it was due to covid but dining experience wasn’t anything special
Fast service, excellent food quality. Lasagna was outstanding!
Turtle soup was excellent. Veal with crab was excellent. Felt there could have been a little bit more veal. Eggplant app good too.
The food and drinks were excellent. Our waiter Leon provided outstanding service. Please ask for him when you visit the restaurant!
Atmosphere, food selection, wine selection, desert, all superb! Definitely will be returning.
Glenn was a great server and attended us perfectly. Manager was great as well. The staff here is wonderful.
Excellent food, a little slow service but it was yesterday, Friday!!!
The food was amazing. The service was exceptional.
Amazing fine dining experience in a casual dining setting! Started with the BBQ Shrip Appetizer.. (BBQ Shrimp without all the work!) Main courses was the Gulf Fish Almondine and Duck Tchoup... Both delicious! Our server Emily could not have been more helpful and prompt the entire evening along with Mr. Nicholas at the Bar! Have to say, my new favorite drink is the Oaxacan Old Fashion! First you have to learn how to say it!!! Thanks for an excellent dining experience!
Leon was amazing! Such a great experience with him. His service was absolutely amazing, would
First of all, no Covid protocol was followed. They allowed people in with no mask and vax card was not checked. As I was leaving, I walked right into a non masked guest. We were put in a dark, not romantic, corner that was literally elbow to elbow with another table. The first waitress brought water, never asked for a drink order. The next waitress was very nice and I could tell she was doing the best she could. The calamari was soggy. The lasagna was extremely salty. The drinks were solid and the pour was generous. Unfortunately for the price, it was a big disappointment. There are way to many other wonderful Italian restaurants to have to deal with mediocrity. They also advertised as having valet parking which they do not have and according to hostess it’s been a long time. Need to change advertisement. Parking around that part of town can be quite challenging.
Wish we could give Tommy’s 10 stars! What really made our experience was our server Alyssa. She was sopatient with us & helped us choose our entire meal & drinks. Each thing she recommended was phenomenal & you can tell she really knew the menu. Even though it was our first time there we were treated as if we were regulars. Can’t wait to go back
Good all around. The wine is displayed by the bottle to read and choose—good twist.
Was truly expecting more...pastas were average at best and overpriced for what you received. Service was great!
The service was not as we would have expected. I ordered a glass of wine and never got it. Our food was just mediocre. I wanted it to be good because the place is well appointed and the location is great.
Great night out in New Orleans, didn't disappoint - great food and atmosphere!
Nice place. Had a “waft” of drain backflip which can be a challenge in the restaurant business but it can’t be ignored. Also had a fruit fly that WOULD NOT leave me alone.
Ordered salad (okay) and chicken parm (HUgE). Also asked for balsamic vinegar for the oil & bread. I was brought a geletized something or other which I assumed to be balsamic vinaigrette. After a short discussion with the waiter I was brought balsamic vinegar (he’d never heard of it).
Food was okay. Price was good. Overall “okay”.
My server, Chase, was amazing. Great food and presentation
The food was great. Our waiter recommended a wine for us and it was perfect. The ambiance was also just what we were expecting; fine dining, but not too fancy. It was great overall.
Interesting take on Italian cuisine with the New Orleans flavor. Food was dellllicious. Would go back there if I am ever in New Orleans again.
Wedding anniversary. A waiter was excellent.
I would definitely go back for the shrimp and pasta!
A definite must when I’m in town….. food and service is spot on. Love the atmosphere too!
Our server was wonderful. The food was amazing as always! Everyone was super accommodating to our baby and kept checking to make sure he didn’t need anything and that we were enjoying ourselves. We love coming here and will, of course, be back! It never disappoints!
Excellent service , waiter was very attentive, however I’m embarrassed because I can’t remember His name !! We were there for White Linen Night around 6:30….
The atmosphere was amazing. The food was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.
Food was very good and the service was great!
Waiter was tops very sociable and accommodating with menu selections
We were on a cross country road trip and this was our first night in New Orleans with our teenage daughters. Our youngest has Asperger’s and t trying new cuisine wasn’t going to happen. Finding an Italian restaurant was a win for us. Finding one where the food was amazing was a godsend. The chicken park and lasagna were deciduous. The desserts were sinful. The bartender makes wonderful drinks. Our server, Max, was phenomenal. He was kind, attentive, and helpful. One of the best servers we have had on our 3 week trip. Everyone at the restaurant from the hostess to the food runners to assistant server was warm and welcoming.
Because of the food and the staff we planned to come back the next night. Unfortunately, we had to change our plans and head out on the road a day early and miss another wonderful meal. Next time we are in town we will be there!!!!
Food was very good. Service not so good. Dining room was noisy and we were sat in a corner in the back when there were many other tables available.
Food was great, server was great, the service was very slow
This was my second visit to Tommy's and both times my experience has been wonderful. The service is great, the staff friendly, and the food was excellent. We will definitely be back again.
Amazing food; fantastic selections for Coolinary; my favorite Italian restaurant in New Orleans.
We have been long time Tommy fans; however this was the worst food we have ever had. Prices are the same but food quality has gone down. All of the old servers are no longer there and have moved on to other restaurants. Clientele has changed. So Disappointed.
Very quaint with amazing food, our server (Chase) was very attentive and it was a great overall experience.
