Our service was INCREDIBLE… the food was excellent and the vibe was great! Definitely would recommend!
Minimal menu. High priced for just ok food
Brittney, our server, was fantastic. She was very helpful when it came to ordering. She was patient and very friendly. Our food was phenomenal. Even the bread and cinnamon butter were remarkable. We topped off our visit with pina colada cake that was just luscious. Can’t wait to visit more of these Tommy Bahamas in other cities!
Had an amazing dinner! Was pleasantly surprised with our surprise toast that was offered for our anniversary. Very friendly staff, great food with excellent plating. Loved it!
Food, service and atmosphere wonderful. Staff was more than happy to accommodate GF request and salad option to make a meal,
Sat outside on the balcony which was very nice. Mai tai was good but not as good as at the bar. Food was fair and both entrees came to the table cold. Quickly remedied. Overall was fun but the food is not fine dining while the prices are. May go back for happy hour but not for dinner.
Adam our server was great and made the night very enjoyable.
We arrived earlier than our reservation and were seated promptly outside. We’ve been coming to TB since they opened and celebrated many a New Years Eve there too! I requested a table not anywhere near a family with younger children but once again we were seated near shrieking 5-7 yr old girls just like our previous visit! When I say shriek it’s the ear piercing sound that actually hurts the ears . Not good for a couple !!!
When our son was the same age he was raised with manners and appropriate restaurant behavior so other patrons could enjoy their dining experience . We not only experienced one family ignoring their child’s behavior but they left and another family of shriekers was seated there !
Our server Garret was personable and great! Food was equally good and the pineapple creme brûlée was to die for and my overall favorite dessert !! Try the coconut pineapple mojito it’s pretty good!
We will be back but perhaps ask for a booth inside lol
Overall, we had a nice dinner and experience. The food was delish, and the service was okay. The staff seemed overwhelmed and it felt chaotic so it wasn’t as relaxing as we would have liked. Our appetizer(mussels) and salad were both beautiful presentations but the entree, Mahi, was a skimpy presentation and pricey for what it was.
Great food, great service, live entertainment. It was a perfect evening.
Kelly was our server was awesome - Hostesses were fairly poor for welcoming new guests - we were seated at the closed patio and noise level was just perfect - noise level inside the restaurant was louder - so pick which works best for your party
Great food & drinks, great atmosphere and great entertainment. TB continues to deliver.
We arrived 5 min early for a 5pm reservation and were told to wait in the bar area. 20 min later we were still waiting so I went to ask what was going on. The boy at the front told me that he had forgotten about us, then tried to sit us at a table in the back of the place near the kitchen. I asked him if there was a table on the patio, and he said we would have to wait for one. Now, normally I don’t get upset at wait staff, but they had seated three other couples on the patio while they had us waiting in the bar, so as politely as I could, I unloaded on this guy. Very bad customer service, Tommy Bahamas!!
Underwhelming. Boring food. Add some tropical salsa to the fish special.
Everything was perfect. Food was excellent as well as the service.
Tommy’s food and atmosphere are always wonderful. They need to return to the old key lime pie recipe. Shortbread crust takes away from filing taste. Filing was changed from great lime taste to a more custardy taste with little lime taste. Return to old recipe.
Always a pleasure coming here. Outstanding spot on the patio among the breeze and palm trees. Nice spot after some shopping for drinks and food. Been coming back last two years cause we have not had a bad date here yet. Some menu items have changed but the coconut cloud martini 2021 might be the best rum drink to date 🤩 also the key lime martini is ahhhhmazing. This place is surprisingly a favorite.
Food is bland. Not worth the price you pay. Service was good.
Met with friends from mainland. Everyone enjoyed the lunch.
Tommy Bahama was recommended as having the best Mai Tai’s on Maui and they were! The food was great, our server was great!
Our server Kellie was excellent. Food was delicious. Love this place. Come every year here in Maui
Overpriced but good...Mai Tais are the best....known for coconut shrimp. Ask for outdoor table.
Excellent food, esp the ribs & fresh fish. Definitely a must dining experience, happy hour is great as well. Service was top notch, and the drinks were creative. Order dessert for a unique delight!
Had scheduled this weeks ago letting the restaurant know it was a special occasion for my wife and I. We were there early for our reservation but weren’t seated until at least 15 minutes after the set time. Our seats were in a back corner of the restaurant with no view and no ambiance. Server was sufficient but didn’t put much into the effort. The food was okay. The overall experience was incredibly disappointing, corporate, and cold when compared to the rest of our amazing time in Maui.
Great food excellent service!
Our waiter Ryan was amazing. So on top of everything and quick!
Our first time to Tommy Bahama in Wailea. It was amazingly crowded, and even though we made our dinner reservation three weeks ago, we still needed to wait for a table. Once seated on the lovely terrace ( thank you,) we enjoyed our server, John, who was charming and very efficient and helpful ...even though he seemed to have too many tables to take care of. The ambiance was fine, except for the intermittent screaming of an unhappy child seated near us. We enjoyed our coconut shrimp appetizers and our three different food preparations for fish. Our friend had a chocolate mousse cake to die for, and my husband and I shared the delicious lime pie.
In all, we had a nice time, and are glad this restaurant and its staff have survived the wicked 15 months of the Pandemic. We live across the island so we might not come often, but wt least we now know a good restaurant in Wailea!
Service was great with parents but heard that front reception talked down to adult children in party - very disappointing considering our party was all 18 and over. Meal was good overall with live music.
Didn't like coconut shrimp but sliders were excellent.
My husband and I always enjoy eating at Tommy Bahamas in Wailea. The service is always great and the food was good.
We haven’t been here in quite some time and really enjoy the ambiance. Service was very good. Our first two courses were very good ( coconut shrimp, one of my favorites, and the salad). We also really like their bread and the honey butter. However both of our entrees ( blackened mahi-mahi with pineapple sauce for my husband, and the daily special of macadamia nut crusted mahi-mahi ) were somewhat disappointing. We’ve eaten here many times and the fish has always been very good. My dish especially lacked flavor and was a bit dry. We had much better fish dishes at Cafe O’Lei for much less cost.
Very unfriendly host at checkin. He was not inviting. Not nice when we got there fifteen minutes early. Was like come back at the time if your reservation. Waiter uninspired. Didn’t really talk. Robot
Overall very disappointing given location and price
This place was amazing!
I loved the food and drinks were also good!
If in maui this place is a must!
We love Tommy Bahama Restaurants. Tonight was no exception. After declining the first table offered we waited a few minutes then were sat at a quiet patio table. We enjoyed the special curry mussels as well as the ribs and fish of the day. Servings are always generous but there is no skimping on quality.
Always great service! Reliable food quality and Island menu. We always make this one of our places to eat when in Wailea. They typically have some type of coupon available.
I felt like I was at Denneys - had just started our salad course when they delivered our main course. So they kindly took it back and put it under the heat lamp. Wow
So much for unhurried ambience.
The food was very good, however.
Can always count on a nice time at Tommy Bahamas. Love the casual atmosphere and the food is always yummy! Our waitress was friendly and service was good.
