If we are in NYC you'll see us here for a meal. Always great food and service!!
Our server Ashley was lovely. We love coming here when we visit the city. It literally is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Our drinks are always great and the food is always delicious! Its become one of our favorite places to eat.
Or waitress was very sweet, the staff helping her were not on their game. Delivered my tacos with the sauce for the plantains but didn’t notice the plantains were not on the plate. Delivered or chips to another table, our waitress had to go and get the chips herself.
Food is great but after well over an hour I still did not have my lunch. And I had to leave without it.
Great for a low key business or friends lunch. Lots of healthy and tasty food options!
Fun place, original food
Delicious food and drinks
Everything was delicious!
Have dined here multiple times and the food and service has always been terrific. Noise level is always very loud but there's something about the atmosphere that makes it okay.
This time around my party was seated in the back and it was fairly empty (the front of the house was full). We sat there for at least 20 minutes before anyone came over with water, menus, etc. and it wasn't until I was able to hail down a waitperson before we got a menu. Once we did, the service not only improved by the waitperson but was also what I had experienced in the past.
Birthday celebration. It was quiet. Yummy food good service
amazing service and top notch food
Needs more salads on summer menu. Otherwise the food is v good
service very slow
everybody seems to be lost
We asked that the power of the vents be lowered a little, because it gave us direct air in the face, the waiter climbed on top of the chair in which my companion sat, wearing shoes, and without covering the chair
never seen this before anywhere !!
My wife and went here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and it was perfect. The staff is incredible and the feel around the restaurant is relaxing. You forget that you are in the middle of New York, and not in California or Hawaii. The food is absolutely delicious. The restaurant went above and beyond by giving us complimentary prosecco and dessert to celebrate our occasion.
This may be one of my most favorite Resturant’s in NYC. The food is great, service first rate, music to enjoy throughout the evening. Our server Ashley is the most charming person. Look forward to next visit.
It’s a hidden gem. Great ambiance and casual food. One of my favorites. I just wish they had more vegetarian options.
Good food. Good service. Good musician.
Too loud to hear the music.
Great ambiance! Great food! Great service! I always enjoy my time there.
Major disappointment. Having previously dined at Tommy Bahamas in Hawaii on several occasions this was NOT anything resembling those experiences. Food was just awful and quite honestly I think it doesn’t have a clue.
It hurts to write this because in Hawaii it was excellent.
Great place very noisy
Tommy Bahama's exceded any expectation. First, the atmosphere is just what it is meant to be, laid back, bright, inviting, modern, comfortable, clean, uncluttered. It is just really very nice and inviting. The service as just right. We were carrying on a bit of a business discussion and asked that we just take our time. The staff would check on us, but never made us feel rushed. The food was delicious. It was cooked perfect, it tasted great. The menu is not elaborate but it certainly reflects some of the tastes and flavors that would be expected for an "island" type venue. I would highly recommend this as a great place for lunch. It will not disappoint.
Food very fresh. Drinks strong. :) Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. The hostess at the front desk was also very pleasant. Prices are reasonable. It would be nice if the menu had more selections, especially the appetizers. All and all great day out.
Food is good but once sever took our order, we didn’t see him again until we received our bill.
Starters and main courses were excellent, well cooked, seasoned and tasty.
Desserts were far too sweet for our taste, the mousse reminding me of butterscotch Angel Delight!
Jeff our server was still learning the ropes but was sweet and kind.
Nice Location but average Food.
Caesar Salad came with 3 Croutons only
TB's 2nd Floor restaurant continues to be a hidden gem in midtown. Diverse "Island-Themed" menu, fun drinks, casual Veranda decor, and an array of exceptional desserts. Live music most nights (at levels that don't intrude on conversation). Entrees aside, outstanding dishes are Coconut Shrimp, Guacamole, and Pina Colada Cake.
Location molto bella, cibo buono e personale cordiale! Ottimi gli antipasti ed anche la portata principale!
We have been to this several times prior and both the food and service has been very good. During this last visit the service was slow and somewhat sullen. The person who seated us was not welcoming. The food was good but not as delicious as it has been on previous visits, this was especially true of the appetizers and dessert.
Aniversary dinner before theatre- Tommy Bahama is our happy restaurant! The food is fresh, the service is good, and the vibe is lively! It never fails!
I brought some coworkers here for restaurant week (lunch) and it was great. I have been here three times now and I'll be back... there are so many great dishes to try. It's a bit of the tropics in NYC. Everything was great.
Very nice service, atmosphere
I would recommend to anyone food is great, whether if it’s after work or a special occasion. I’d highly recommend it
Not enough choice & expensive.
My experience at this restaurant was beyond extravagant. I would highly recommend going there on a date, birthday or simply dinner with a friend. The food, service and overall atmosphere was of great quality.
My wife and I have an exceptional dining experience every time we are here. Excellent food, superb service, and a great location.
Another five star dining experience !
My friends and I dined here in June, July and now August. Tommy Bahama is our go-to restaurant usually to celebrate birthdays. But last night we got together to have dinner before seeing Barry Manilow on Broadway.
We have our choice of many restaurants but we always choose Tommy Bahama for the ambiance, excellent service and delicious food.
We will be back soon for our next celebration!
Say hi to Travis for us! Excellent manager!
Fresh food served in a friendly and professional manner. Crab and filet mignon salads we're fresh, ample and delightfully dressed. Key lime pie, pastry crust and lime zest on the whipped cream was a terrific dessert in terms of texture and flavor. All topped of with a great cup of coffee. In walking distance to the theatre district.
Dining at Tommy Bahama is always good. The food is great. I love dining on the small plates to sample different dishes. It can be a bit noisy but not overwhelming. I highly recommend it.
Great food, excellent service, a touch loud even in a quiet corner.
A consistently great place for midtown lunch, priced where it is affordable at the personal or corporate level. Diverse menu. Amazing desserts.
