Waitress was professional and friendly. Food was delicious, this was first time, looking forward to returning.
Great service , delicious salad
Food was excellent as always and service was pleasant and efficient. Cocktails were delicious too.
Tommy Bahamas is a perfect place for a date night. The night we went there was a live performer that we could have done without but it wasn't bothersome. The food was great, the server was friendly and thoughtful although it took her a little while to take our order. The ambiance was lovely. It was romantic but the lighting was still nice and it's appropriate for a friends night out or dinner with family as well. Overall, I would visit again and recommend!
Live music for Valentine’s Day was amazing. Great service and food! Definitely going back.
Wonderful atmosphere. Good quality food. Great service as well. Really enjoyed the experience.e
Excellent dining. We have been here a few times and never been disappointed. Brunch and dinner, both are excellent. Love the decor and the good food. Service was great, wait staff were very cordial and friendly.
It was a great experience
Whenever I eat here, I feel like I’m on vacation. It seems quite removed from the hustle and bustle of midtown Manhattan. The food is scrumptious! And the ambience positive. You can definitely have a private conversation here and also get together with a rowdy group of friends. I can’t wait to go back.
I always order the Chicken dish with potato/cauliflower mash and red petter suaveness. Love it and recommend it. But had to send it back because it was so salt. Friend also ordered same dish and agreed it was very salty but she likes salt.
Kitchen accommodated very quickly and replaced my dish. Fantastic ! And i was very grateful. That’s my favorite dish and I always order it. Try it!
Had a business lunch, good food & service but very busy. I would go back again.
The food was good ambiance as well. Problem was service. Had to remind the waitress about our appetizers when she finally bought them our entrees came a few minutes later didn’t even have a chance to start on the appetizer. It felt like I had to constantly remind the waitress we were there. Not the first time this has happened with this waitress and others.
Not on a Sunday night. Restaurant was short staffed for number of customers.
Had lunch with old friends. Service as great and they let us linger as we had not seen each other in awhile. Salads and Burgers were great. Very good casual option for lunch in Manhattan.
Go back every few months and always have a great meal! Especially good on Saturday’s too when Aaron Short is playing live music.
Loved the food and menu. Great value during Restaurant Week! Our server was not very inattentive. We ordered one cocktail which did not arrive until after the appetizers... Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience!
great food and great location on fifth ave where there are not many casual easy non fast food restaurants
Good experience but was staff was bit overwhelmed and hurried. But will definitely be back.
Wonderful Midtown Manhattan dining choice for business people.
We’ve waited over 45 minutes for the meal. Everyone around us who sat much later received their order prior to us. My friends meal came in undercook as well
Good food and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
Great food, Fantastic Service!
Best grilled mahi mahi tacos in NYC
We enjoyed our lunch here in November so much that we decided to come again prior to a Sunday matinee of Hamilton. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. Atmosphere is relaxed and calm. Food is delicious. Fish tacos are among the best I’ve ever had. Crab Benedict, crab bisque and chicken sliders were excellent. We love this place and plan to return. I highly recommend it.
Food was great...however I had specified Birthday and that I wanted a dessert brought. It was missed.
Always amazing service and delicious food
It seemed like an odd restaurant, Tommy Bahamas, but after reading other reviews, I thought I’d try it while in NYC on business. I am sure glad that I have it a shot as it was a very relaxing place to dine with very attractive decorating and the Calypso band planning in the distance. The food was very good and they have a nice wine by the glass selection (and not way too overpriced as many NYC restaurants). I hope to be back to dine there again in the future. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place and and very good meal.
Had a nice time, but the restaurant week vegetarian entree was pretty boring and uninspired so not really worth $50 even with the three courses. I would have prefered to just order off the regular menu for something actually delicious and skipped the soup. It was basically some lightly cooked broccolini, cauliflower, and carrots with lemon squeezed over them and some slightly overcooked faro. Very bland all things considered.
Perfect business lunch spot.
Was so surprised that the drinks were so terrible we had to have them take it back. Other times they were very well done. Bad night.
Food, drinks and atmosphere are great!
after waiting over half an hour-- my steak bowl was brought to me cold--- waiter apologized-- brought some bread recently frozen and cold -- brought another meal--- also cold--- maître d came over--- the most apologetic-- I then changed to a hamburger-- which was fine-- the waitstaff was overly polite-- I was told there was a problem in the kitchen--- the table next to me had to take their food to go as service was too slow for a lunch crowd.
It felt like being in Florida. The crab bisque and the coconut shrimp were excellent. In fact, everything was delicious! Services was very good and the atmosphere on a Monday night felt like a quick trip to South Florida for the evening. Will definitely be going back!
Tommy Bahama never disappoints. They have been consistent in their great food and great service. I love this restaurant. Weekdays are crazy busy so I prefer to go on weekends.
Loved it! Thank you Kim from the Huntington Tommy Bahama retail for the champagne toast! Truly appreciated it! Thank you Lea our server and all the staff for making our dinner a relaxing experience!
One of our favorite go-to spots and so near Grand Central Station!
Place is amazing, gets a little crowded for lunch but overall experience was great. Very tasty food and service on point.
Good food, interesting crowd. Service very good
We dined on a quiet Tuesday evening, a post business day table of 4, one round of drinks, no wine and 3 of the 4 order the NYC Restaurant Week prix fixe. Sit down to stand up, just over 2 hours. Felt somewhat overlooked, especially as other servers started resetting tables close by for the next day's service before our check arrived.
Food was good for most, although 1 ordered the duck breast medium rare and it arrived very rare. While it was taken back without question, by the time it returned, other diners were almost finished their mains and the re-fired duck had become quite tough.
there was live music that evening and it was very pleasant and quite good. It contributed to a very comfortable ambiance.
