Great atmosphere and food. Relaxing and casual. The salmon was perfect and the Brussels sprouts were the best. Happy Hour has some great values. The noise level was good. You could carry on a conversation with the people at your table. The service was quick and friendly.
We were pleasantly greeted at the door and shown to our table. We had sufficient time to browse menu when server came to explain specials. Decided on meatloaf dinner and shrimp-and-grits...both delicious. Courteous service, wonderful food.
Had lobster pot pie and braised pork shank. Dessert was derby pie. Husband had scallops. Friends had salmon and great Ceaser salad. Good wine list and craft beers..but not on tap.
We had an absolutely delicious dinner!!!! Isabelle was our wonderful server and we can't wait to come back!
Tombo is one of my personal favorites, the staff is friendly and the service is great.
I enjoy the variety in the menu and would like to see the return of the CRAB CAKES!!
The most recent visit was a quick one before departure out of town.
The server,MARY?,,,,, was great.
Met a friend for dinner and it was just delightful. Food was good and nice wine choices.
The food was quite good, and the service was great. If you can wrangle a booth, you get the double benefit of a "privacy fence" AND a wall. Very cosy. Fabulous fudge/ice cream dessert. Highly recommended.
Good food, good service
Special pizza night needs more choices
Third time we have been to tombo. Super consistent food. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like!
Food was great, wanted to order other options on the menu but a fixed menu on Valentine's Day was understandable.
If their Valentine's day menu and service were indicative of "business as usual" I would definitely recommend Trombo. The wait staff were polite, attentive, yet unobtrusive. The food was excellent (the Filet Mignon was so tender that it cut with a butter knife), and each course was served so as not to rush its enjoyment. A great experience.
Enjoyed the 4 course meal served for Valentine’s Day! Our server was awesome!
Went for a Valentine's dinner, which was 4 course Prix fixe. Everything but the fish (grouper) was good, the price was comparable to others for Valentine's. I intend to return.
I thought $28.00 was A little pricey for (4) Scallops. However the flavor was good.
We had a very nice dinner for two. The food was top-notch and the service was great! We will be back again!
Good food in a friendly neighborhood setting. I loved the meatloaf!
Once again perfect ! Food and atmosphere great! Service outstanding!! One of our favorite places to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seated at requested table upon arrival. Attentive and pleasant server. The fish special (snapper) was excellent ! We'll be back.
Loved it. We were here on vacation and because of reviews on yelp and trip adviser decided to give it a try and it definitely measured up
Always a great get together place. Several friends and meet here once a month. We feel safe going as a group of ladies.
Met friends for Monday nite music and burger special, Jan 22, to hear Hot Club of Baltimore. I appreciate Tombo Grille for supporting live music in Columbia. Food, service, and music were great. I recommend the salmon for those who haven’t tried it.
Tombo Grill is fairy close to our house, and is one of our “go to” places for dinner and a glass of wine. We eat vegetarian, so not everything on the menu is for us, but we can always put together a tasty meal from appetizers (Brussels Sprouts -yum!), salads, and a cheese plate. The butterscotch blondie with ice cream is one of my favorite desserts anywhere! For omnivores, finding a delicious entree would be very easy.
I love the relaxing neighborhood feel of the place, and we have always had great service there. They have live music some nights, which is also fun.
Five stars. Tombos has really become our favorite. Great menu and wine selection. Good variety of single malt too and the prices are the best in Columbia per glass or drink. Gets a little loud as the night progresses but you can still hear.
We ate at Tombo for restaurant week and it was great! All four of us enjoyed our food and the servings were plentiful. Our server was very friendly and helpful as well.
Our waiter, Ryan, did a fabulous job waiting on us on Wed. night!
What a fantastic surprise. We went for restaurant week but I’m definitely a new regular customer. Food was great and service to match .
We eat frequently at Tombo Grille. The food and the service has always been outstanding. We have never been disappointed and we recommend it to friends all the time.
Great value wine. Excellent short rib appetizer and shrimp gumbo.
This was the best restaurant we have been to since we moved here. Best food, Best drinks, Fun!!
Excellent food and service
Wonderful! Great Food and Service, Quite Romantic, The steak was melt in your mouth. We will go back.
Wonderful restaurant for a date. Quiet, great service, good food.
Would never return
This is a very nice, small restaurant. There were two of us at a table, but the bar looked like a fun place to eat. The food was very good and we will go back.
In spite of having 7 in the dinner party, including 2 young children, service was flawless. Food consistently good
The food never disappoints! And our server, Curran, was great!
We are regulars because Tombo Grille has great food and offers a wonderful fine dining experience, with friendly staff who are like family. Although I have had probably thousands of meals at Tombo over the years, the duck breast I enjoyed over the weekend was really outstanding, including the excellent and creative accompaniments. We will return soon.
Yummmy. The lobster pot pie is amazing. The staff is always attentive but not over bearing. A great place for the girls to get together!!
Awesome, as always.
