Food quality was good, service very good.
I love Tomasso. I go there pretty regularly. The food and service is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you haven't experienced Tomasso you should.
Ok, thought the bolognese was good, arancinis were a bit over cooked and the gelato was icy and not smooth
The food was mediocre at best. My Eggplant Parma was dry and severely over cooked. The salad (Mista) was plain and we could hardly taste the salad dressing. My friend ordered Bolognese which she said was dry and lacked flavor. The quality of food and service has gone way down at Tomasso, very disappointing, will not be going back.
Food was fresh and delicious. Enjoy the meal immensely.
We live nearby and have been dining here since the original restaurant opened and we were disappointed. My husbanded ordered the $45 veal chop which had about 5 bites of meat and the rest was fat. Ceasar salad was good. I had the steak which was a bit tough but good enough. It had a tiny bit of a sauce or butter on it and I asked for more. The waitress brought a small bowl with a blob of cold beef fat or whatever it was. I asked her to warm it up and she brought it back with a little of it melted but still mostly a cold blob. Definitely a turn-off. Service was really not very good. Despite fewer tables, it was very noisy. Definitely not the caliber of restaurant that it was in the past. Best bet here is to sit in the bar for pizza and salad.
Been here many times for dinner and every dish I have had has been delicious! My favorites are the mussel app, the burrata app, and the burrata pasta dinner.
Looking forward to post pandemic menus and service. Will revisit soon
Under the tent in a parking lot by a noisy road. Waitress was almost non-existent and could barely hear her voice. Not a great value for $145 for dinner for two. On the plus, it's always easy to get a reservation on short notice.
Great food and service! The outdoor seating is a great addition. Highly recommend it for a family outing. Allergy friendly.
Limited menu Food was average
Great place to eat, good food, great service, nice ambience.
Super nice people. Excellent bolognese and pasta
Mother’s Day brunch with my family was outstanding. Mimosas were great and the food was served impeccably and tasted delicious.
Went for Mother's Day Brunch and I'd say everything was good. The kids meal pancakes stood out as the best option. Service wasn't the best but we typically have great service here, so it is an outlier. The candle as a Mother's Day gift at the end of the meal for my wife was a very nice touch and much appreciated.
It was the best Italian meal we ever had at any restaurant. The lighting and atmosphere was perfect. The people there were so polite and ask if everything was fine. We are going again. Love the place.
Mike our server was excellent. The Saltimbocca was to die for, like butter. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu.
Waitress was very nice. The bread and water lady was rude to us. Unfortunately they were out of the drink we ordered. Then 2 entrees we ordered were also unavailable. The meal was just ok for the price you pay. Unfortunately it was not up to the standards of the amount you pay for both ambience and meal taste.
I was disappointed with the overall experience at Tomasso. My husband and I have dined there several times over the years and the food has been great and the service as well. We had not been there in a while but we decided to eat there because the other two people in our party were coming from the Boston area and Tomasso is a half way point.
After I gave my name for the reservation, the hostess seated us at a table. I didn't know she had already seated our guests at another table. She seemed not to be able to hear well as the noise in the restaurant was pretty loud and, of course, we were all wearing masks. Once all four of us were seated together, three of us ordered the tomato bisque soup. The manager came over to apologize but he never said why/for what he was apologizing. When the soup didn't come and dinner was ready to be served, we asked where the soups were. He said he thought we didn't want them because there were only two servings left. We said that was okay but we still wanted the soups and that my husband and I would share one bowl. Our entrees were mediocre at best. Perhaps because Tomasso had just recently reopened after the closure during COVID, they were not yet up to their previous reputation for great food and service. It will be a while before we try Tomasso again.
Excellent dining experience. Mike our server was fantastic. Their sirloin was so flavorful, and melts in your mouth. Their pizza's are incredible. And when you're ready for desserts. Try the chocolate cake.
Great menu, great service and, in these difficult times, a safe and quiet dining experience.
The food at the restaurant out weighs the service. Our table was a half hour late, the staff was unorganized and truly in a stare of confusion.
Poor reservation management and “attitude” when challenged on why the reservation error happened.
Party of 2 and took 1hr for our dinner to come. Other tables around us who were seated after us got their food way before us. Waiter attended to those tables to check in and just walked past us. Not good.
The table was in the back room which was nice and private but it seemed like our waiter forgot about us a couple of times. The wine was good but I felt that the cocktails were over priced for the value. My carbonara was very dense and too greasy. It tasted way too salty for my liking. The arancini were yummy but there were only 4 four of them which I felt was not balanced with the price. Overall, the food was eh and the price was a little much for the quality of our meal.
Restaurant had great food, great service and a great atmosphere
The waitress was obviously new, had little knowledge of the menu which had a minimal amount of choices. A ridiculous kids menu. $13 for a piece of processed chicken with fries, seriously??!! I’ve been to casual restaurants where they get more pasta and chicken than they can eat plus a drink and dessert. I can’t even begin with the grossly overpriced menu items. $11 for four small meatballs, $7 for two tablespoons of beets. Then when we pay the bill, our experienced waitress thought our gift card was a rewards card so she charged our credit card the full amount. I can honestly say this is probably one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to, do not waste your time!! I was embarrassed that I took family here for a celebratory meal.
Excellent !!! We had a few adjustments to the food we ordered and they accommodated us very easily.
Salad was poor quality and overpriced for portion. Servers were great. I would not recommend to anyone
Mike our server did an awesome job. The short ribs are to die for. The veal Saltibocca is a must try. If you've eaten here before, you will see Mike behind the bar and waiting tables. If you you haven't, I highly recommend it. Great choices of drinks and wines. Been coming coming here for years.
The menu was limited but both our choices were very well executed.
We didn’t realize we got in on the first say of their RE-opening. Apparently under new ownership the food doesn’t seem to have missed a beat. My carbonara was spot on, and my wife’s dill salmon was incredibly tasty (though they did forget the dill sauce...the promptly sautéed up a fresh batch and sent it right out).
We splurged for dessert and weren’t disappointed. A simple but delicious Tiramisu, so hard to find anyone not trying to dress this up into something it’s not.
Mike made us a perfect smooth Manhattan and super tasty extra dirty martini to kick things off.
We will be back. Thanks for a great early Valentines dinner.
Menu, service and food still awesome. One of our neighborhood favorites.
Room was freezing - prices were on the HIGH side..
Pleasant staff, attentive service, flavorful apps and entree's.
Been coming here for years, the food is still outstanding. They've taken all the precautions with covid-19. I felt very safe when we ate there. I highly recommend a nite out there.
Wonderful evening with my girlfriends, excellent service, fabulous food, and great wine.
Warm and friendly service- very accommodating , and safe
I had a verse salad with grilled shrimp. You can choose your protein. And the house red. Lovely. Pistachio gelato for dessert treat. I regularly visit Tomasso"s
