Casual excellence. One of our regular stops. We love the casual setting and a menu that allows you to come for a pizza and a salad or a full blown meal with an excellent steak. Good beer and wine and attentive service... so good.
This was our first visit to the restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back again.
Seated quickly and had great service and as always -incredible food! Thanks Tomasso, we will both be back again!
Our waiter was excellent. The food was good, but not that impressive. Price is on the higher side.
Excellent food, salad very fresh and perfect proportions. Nice quiet lunch and we didn’t feel rushed. Very fresh coffee. It is our go to place for lunch.
Good food but small portion sizes for price for entrees and desserts. Wine selection is good but no draft beers. Some night is very loud and with it being in a small space you can not hear.
This place never disappoints. The servers always go that extra mile to make your dining experience special. The food is always outstanding. Thank you all for a great night. T- bone steak was cooked to perfection. The pasta is homemade and always fresh.
Great place with great food! Chicken parmigiana is outstanding
We really enjoyed our server. The food was delicious overall. I ordered a vegetable for a side dish. I think the value would have been better if a vegetable had been included with the entrée. The dessert (panna cotta) was fabulous.
Great food and service
So good. We have Tomasso's on our regular rotation as we love the excellent chow, fine wines/beers, and the great service. Meatballs, Caprino Salad, Antipasto Plate, Pasta of the Day, Gelato. Sean provided awesome service once again.
Menu did not offer options for vegetarians, of which we had one in our party. Pasta was ok, but not of a particularly high quality. Sauces were good, but not exceptional. The Maitre'd came to our table to ask how everything was, and we expressed disappointment in recent menu changes. The wait person overheard our complaints about the pasta being cold and dd not respond. We had to wait a particularly long time, about 20 minutes, for our drinks, with the reason stated as the bar was backed up, but the restaurant was far from capacity. Overall, disappointing experience, we would not return any time soon!
Another meal of many we've enjoyed here. Excellent fresh Caprino Salad, Antipasto Plate and the pasta of the day... 4 cheese. A few glasses of the house red tonight. Friendly, attentive service.
Only negative was the bar. Our drink order took 30 minutes at least. The waitress, who we loved, brought us two glasses of proseco to smooth things over.
Food is superlative; somewhat noisy
Quality of the food was amazing and the service was great
Went for Valentines Day so I am sure this night was an exception to the rule so I am going easy. They had a very hard time keeping up with demand and crowd - server was great but clearly frustrated with dinner service and kitchen as he was the messenger. I felt bad. Seated 30 min after reservation, service slow, and no bread offered. Only 5 entrees to choose from in their shortened 4 course Valentines Day menu and they were out of two of them already by 8PM!!!! Yet it was $75/person. Spend $230 for two that night on second choice entrees, no bread, and a dinner service that was over 2.5 hours long. Think there was conflict with kitchen because they magically found our second choice entree they said was 86'ed when we said politely we were gonna leave after drinks. Owner bought us another round which was very nice. Clearly the vibe that night was "overwhelmed" esp in kitchen. I am willing to give the place another try on a regular dining service night versus a holiday as regulars have told me that was not typical of the place.
I usually love Tomasso for takeout! However, I guess Valentine's Day is really indicative of the restaurant quality. However, this does show that the restaurant cannot work at max capacity. Our dinner ended up being 3 hours... Food was okay as it was a fixed menu for $75 per person. It was not worth the value. I would have preferred the a la carte menu but it wasn't recommended.
Worst dinner service I have ever had. Not only did it take three and a half hours for our meal. every step along the way was Painful, waiting and waiting for the next course. And when the food finally came it was completely underwhelming.
It was Valentine's Day, fixed menu was a surprise. Maybe I overlooked it on Open Table. Servings were limited, small and a 7 on a 1-10 scale. We were not alone in our opinion. Diners on both sides of us felt the same. They have been known for high price and small portions but the food is usually good. Disappointing, and I doubt that I will return.
A little pricey but always delicious. A great place for a date
Great neighborhood Italian restaurant with food that's a cut above what you would expect. A very unique and creative menu that is seasonally adjusted to take advantage of locally sourced ingredients.
Our meals were perfect. We are not big eaters and thought the portions were perfect. We both finished our entrees, enjoyed a first course had shared a desert. Couldn't have been more enjoyable.
Early bday dinner with my daughters.
We had a table of six, Lillyanna, was exceptional server fun and personable. The duck pizza was delicious, the pasta dishes were amazing along with the meatballs and octopus appetizer's, the steak was flavored and cook to perfection. Everyone at our table wants to come back. Never disappointed when we dine here. Thank you all for an outstanding job!!
The quality of the food is exceptional. The service was just fair. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance.
The cannoli wasnt right at all and for an Italian restaurant that's troubling, everything else was good, but to finish on a bad cannoli soured the meal
The spaghetti was authentic Sicilian and absolutely fantastic. All of the pasta dishes are something special.
We often go early (5:30-6:00) on a Saturday night and table is usually available. Food is excellent, service is great, and ambiance is relaxing. Never had an issue here and they’ve been around for about 10 years.
Tomasso’s never disappoints- excellent wait staff, great atmosphere, meals are delicious. One of our favorite restaurants.
More excellent chow. Loved our meatballs, soup of the day, caprese salad, NY strip, bottle of red. Great service from Sean, as usual.
Met a friend for dinner. He said he had the best Bolognese that he's had in a long time. I had absolutely incredible steak, cooked to perfection. Thank you all again for a great dining experience.
Another winning meal... one of many. Tonight, red wine by the glass... antipasto, pizza with duck confit, caprese salad, gnocchi. Everything was fantastic! Great service from Shawn.
The meal was fantastic. The per-course pricing adds up fast.
Well I came back after 18 days off my so-so experience and things are back to top-notch. Food was perfectly seasoned and prepared and delivered at the perfect temperature. The Chickpea soup was phenomenal (order it is on menu) and the risotto and mushroom dishes(no meat in either) were spot on! Good to feel the Tomasso "love" once again. Be back soon!
This was our first visit and we didn’t know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find a well-appointed bistro with an extensive wine selection and interesting menu choices. Feeling adventurous, we ordered the “Chef’s Selection”- a four course selection made by the chef for $39.00 each. We were “wowed”. Each course was amazing. Our appetizer course consisted of meatballs (the best my husband ever tasted), rice balls filled with cheese, and an amazing salad. Our pasta course was a creation of mushrooms and a cheese sauce tossed with homemade pasta - excellent! For the entree, we were brought a steak drizzled with a balsamic sauce and s piece of grilled fish with potatoes and a sautéed green vegetable. Dessert was tiramisu and cannolis. The food was exceptional- as good as we had during a recent trip to Italy. The service was also top-notch. Our wait staff was attentive without being intrusive.
To the extent that the restaurant lost points in our estimation, it was because of the ambiance. It was just too noisy. Too many people seemed to be crammed tightly together at very small tables. We could hear everyone’s conversations and they could hear ours. This was fine for a usual “date night”, but the food, wine and service are so excellent that they are worthy of a special occasion. The atmosphere just doesn’t feel right for a special occasion.
Good food and overall experience.
Great food but it seemed a bit long to get lunch served.
We like the La Famiglia. Especially on a date night. It’s fun to share and the food was outstanding.
Very good meal. Only complaint was the food was a little over salted.
