Bomb AF 100 Emoji Swaggie Swag 10/10 would smash. . . That food
Stayed seated at the bar with an incredible view, great service and amazing West Coast oysters. A perfect evening as visitors from the Midwest!
Excellent service, good food. Drinks are very expensive and was the menu. Be prepared to pay a bunch.
Great place - great value and atmosphere- definitely be back. Scallops were amazing. Beautiful view
The food was outstanding, the service was amazing, the view is spectacular
The duck was very good but a very small portion. We will dine their again.
It has wonderful views of the San Diego bay!! I was born and raised in San Diego and I come here quite often. Mostly for brunch on Sundays. Their selection of crab shrimp and lobster is never ending. They have an endless array of desserts to choose from. There omelette station is to die for. There’s something for every vegetarian or carnivore. I go here mainly for the views. Sunday brunch is quite noisy so a spot outside on the terrace is ideal if you want any conversation with your date.
Took my son here for his 17th birthday. The staff was great and the food was delicious. We got a window table which had amazing views.
Perfect in every way - beautiful setting, delicious meal and very friendly wait staff. Look forward to my next visit!
Great food, view, and service. Balcony overlooking San Diego Bay is fabulous. You can actually have a conversation without shouting!
Food was excellent Service was attentive without be obtrusive. Can't beat the view.
Great! With friends
Phenomenal brunch and we have gone for dinner and the food is amazing. Going to be around $50/person before booze on dinner and brunch is $48/person champagne and coffee and juice included. Great spot but book in advance, at least two weeks usually, for brunch.
The seafood, ie crab claws, crab legs, lobster claws weren't as good as in the past. Frozen and not quite thawed we'll enough.
My second time at their Sunday buffet brunch. Both times I felt food was very mediocre. Much of the breakfast dishes were barely warm and not crispy where it should have been (potatoes). Seafood was previously frozen (of course) but very watery and some of it was extremely salty. Maine lobster claws were watery, mushy and not sweet at all. Best were the crab legs/knuckles, but they were hit and miss too. I've been to their happy hour for fresh oysters and a steak strips on a salad and it was pretty good. I might try and regular meal here, but I won't be back for their brunch, which btw, takes about 4 wks to get a reservation. Ocean views are out of this world!
Amazing service & food!!!
The view is quite amazing. While the food is good, it is not exceptional. The portion of my dinner was quite small. For the price, I expected more.
We dine here for the Sunday brunch several times a year and it is one of our favorite places. Usually the beverage service ( included bottomless champagne/mimosas) was rather slow. We sat with empty glasses a number of times for as much as 10-15 minutes and found that the waitresss was rather inattentive to our table in that regard, to the point that we were joking that we were being waited on by Carrie Nation. We come here because the food is good and the view is exquisite and the beverage service is excellent, but the last part didn't live up to our previous experiences. To me bottomless mimosas means that the bottom of the glass should not be seen throughout the meal until I decline a refill. Hope it's better next time we come in.
I ate one of my favorites, the roasted whole fish. Always , incredible. My Husband was well pleased with the Lobster and pasta dish. Even at night the city lights are a great view from a window seat.
Great service and food was absolutely amazing. Definitely order the scallops and calamari
This was first time my gf has been here and she was raving about how great the food was and the view to die for...Thanks for making it a special night.
I enjoyed the view and the food very much! I recently recommended this restaurant to a group from NYC coming to San Diego to attend a meeting at in March.
Our server made our dinner experience even more enjoyable, very knowledgeable and timely. The restaurant was a bit on the cool side and could use some type of acoustics, between the bar and dining area, it was very loud.
Great view of the San Diego downtown waterfront and the seafood dinners we had were well over our expectations. Craft beer and cocktail selection was plenty for us.
The food was delicious, the view was breathtaking & Jaime was a fun & fabulous server!
Loved it!!! We arrived a little early and they seated us right away! We also got a window seat since it was our anniversary! We had the muscles for an appetizer and those were the standout item! So delicious! Will come back#
The food was excellent, service was great and the ambiance was very nice.
My date and I had a pleasant dining experience for our first time at this restaurant. Our waiter was awesome, all staff were really nice taking care of us. The paella was delicious and my date had the steak, which he enjoyed. We also ordered the green salad and for dessert I had the cheesecake with caramel sauce and bacon. Every dish was flavorful. My cocktail was Tiny Bubbles, wished it had more violet color in it.
Great servoce, good food.
The brunch is so good! The views are amazing, and if the weather is nice.....highly recommend patio seating. Love this place, we will be back again
Great view. Bouillabaisse and porkbelly appetizer were excellent. Pretty good beer selection. Settled on Broken Filter. Had a side of polenta which was great for soaking up the leftover broth. As usual, another fine experience at Tom Hams.
The staff was very friendly and made our Anniversary dinner a special experience. The food was amazing.
Menu selection was very limited and in going for a romantic meal and having to crack crab claws...not so romantic and definitely a let down with the food.
So are dinner in 2/17 and food was worst ever... Service great... Table back and front of us complianed about food as well so maybe just too busy a night for kitchen staff to keep up. My lady had the Valentine's stone crab pasta special which was supposed to be eat ready, but took about 10 mins of work from both us us before she could eat and food was cold by then... Mine was paella which bluntly sucked.. Sevilla downtown makes a nice one
We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here on Saturday. The view was spectacular the service by Diana and her assistant was outstanding!
Our dinner was delicious we split the paella it was a hearty dish.
We would definitely come back here if we are visiting San Diego again.
If you want a romantic dinner place this is it!
My husband and I celebrated Valentines Day weekend on Friday night at Tom Ham's. The view is spectacular. We opted for the seafood tray and had a soup or salad and a bottle of wine. Service and food was very good. We typically sit in the bar to enjoy the view and have appetizers and a drink, but dinner was very nice. We will be back to enjoy the patio dining next time.
Staff was very accommodating to my request for our anniversary.
The food was delicious. However, the waiter was not very attentive to our needs.
When we ordered our food, the needed silverware was not available until we requested them. For instance, for steak, there was no steak knife.. so was using the butter knife and not until the waiter noticed that we were having trouble cutting the steak, that's when he said that he'll bring the knife. Also with the Bouillabaisse, there was no spoon, only the spoon for coffee was on the table. And when we ordered the dessert with coffee, no coffee was brought after the dessert was served.
Went to Tom Ham's for a date night and it was a great overall experience.
Everything from the ambiance to the value was great, truly a great experience. I preferred to be seated outside for the view and that's exactly where my date and I ended up. Our waiter was just simply amazing, couldn't ask for more (I believe her name was Ashley). I will definitely be coming back!
