We have eaten at Heritage Steaks a couple of times and have enjoyed it every time. This time was no exception. My wife and I both had filets that were cooked perfectly. I had a baked potato and my wife had bleu cheese on the side. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly.

This was not our first visit to this restaurant. Lively, great for groups, the food and service are all great. The server was very helpful and attentive to the needs of our group. This is a great place and I highly recommend.

Where to begin? I am a foodie and a huge Top Chef (TC) fan, thus was really looking forward to a wonderful meal at Heritage. Per watching Tom Colicchio's judging of the chef-contestants on TC, I had high expectations of his standards. I was sadly disappointed.

The fact that it was easy to make a reservation only a day ahead might have been a tip-off. But my review of Heritage's and other same-class, chef-owned restaurants told me to expect a big bill, thus implying value for the money.

My first impression of the restaurant was that it was only mildly upscale and that it was very, very noisy due to its location within the casino. My real disappointment, however, was the food. Our arugula salads were pedestrian versions with goat cheese and pecans. The skin on my duck was insufficiently rendered and wasn't crisp, while the duck breast itself was almost well-done rather than the at-least medium-rare it should have been. It was served with a wilted salad with orange segments and dates. My friend enjoyed his well-done steak. We shared a baked potato. The Brussels sprouts we shared were oily and too charred; we hardly touched them. We had dessert, my friend the Key Lime cheesecake and me the Bread Pudding. Mine was cloyingly sweet and the "bread" (advertised as banana bread) was soggy and unpleasant. The sauce overwhelmed the whole thing. I tasted my friend's cheesecake, which was also way too sweet.

Our server, James, was nearly invisible throughout the meal. He did check once the entrees and desserts had been served, but too soon after they were placed on the table for us to have really passed judgement on either. The entree plates were removed by someone else, so James couldn't see I'd left a good deal of my duck. But he made no mention of our almost untouched desserts. In his defense, we didn't voice our complaints. I knew we wouldn't be back.

Tom Colicchio, if you'd been a Top Chef contestant I would have had to say, "Tom, please pack your knives and go."

Honestly I was a little disappointed. Watching Tom on judged cooking competitions and how tough he is I I was expecting great food. My duck breast was chewy and the risotto was overcooked. The staff was very attentive and efficient. Would probably not recommend Heritage Steaks to friends.

Lovely ambience even though it's ajacent to the casino area. Quet, relaxing, beautiful environment, the service was impeccable and the food was really perfect. We had the iceberg wedge which was scrumptious, the filet mignon with blue cheese crust and creamed spinach-a true steakhouse feast!

Overall very good. My Prime Rib was underwhelming but the filet and short rib were great. My wife had the Salmon and she enjoyed it. We also had shrimp cocktail & shrimp scampi for starters. Preferred the cocktail over the scampi. The cheddar biscuits with a touch of jalapeño were also very good. Overall a good dinner but not the best steakhouse I’ve been to in Vegas

First time at Heritage Steaks. The service was spectacular. I think that stood out more than food...or the food complemented the service. Best Manhattan on the Strip! Sorry I cannot remember specific names. Team 1 did a Great job!

Excellent service. They were great at anticipating our needs and made great suggestions. We did not order appetizers but everyone was very satisfied with their main courses. All of the steaks were well prepared and we appreciated the flavor that comes from cooking over a wood fire. The scallops and chicken were also both very good and perfectly cook. The Kentucky Rush cocktail was awesome. The sides were so so. The risotto was a little stiff for my taste. We also ordered the monkey bread desert to share. The bourbon flavor was a little overpowering and the bread was a little dry. All in all a great value compared to other steakhouses in Vegas.

Always tell people I don’t like buying steaks out. Feeling I do just as good or better of a job at home. My wife and I were gifted a gift card to go to a nice dinner before our show in Vegas. So after doing some research and asking around I we decided on Tom Colicchio’s Heritage stakes. This is my first time paying for a what I would call expensive steak house. I was underwhelmed. The food was good but I was not blown away. For the price I expected much better. Are food also took so long to come that I didn’t even have time to eat my side, with cost extra, and not cheap. The restraint ambiance was boring and loud. And sadly, I was sitting facing a women with worse table manners than my own, (that’s saying something hing) witch was comically gross. (no fault of the restraint, though is we weren’t so packed together maybe we would have more view of my wife instead of the table next to us.

We showed up on time for our reservation and were asked to wait
30 minutes before we were seated. We had charred octopus which was good. I had the ribeye & my wife the New York strip.
Steaks were. It very good, did not taste like prime meat. Meat was tough and chewy. Very disappointed with quality of meat.
Sides were good we had the creamed spinach with lobster & Yukon gold mashed potatoes.

All in all, the meal was fine. But for what it cost, my steak came out overdone and the sommelier poured all of the wine, including all of the sediment, into my class. Chewy red!

Everything was great it just took forever to get our drinks and food. The waiter was embarrassed that we didn’t get our drinks for about an hour. They ended up comping us a round of drinks and desserts but it was still very frustrating to happen on Valentine’s Day.

Outstanding service. Outstanding Steak. Highly recommend the Octopus Appetizer. Loved the decor. We'll be back! Be advised the restaurant is near a large waterfall which is a bit loud for anyone with hearing issues.

Overpriced and tasteless. $28 for a shrimp cocktail appetizer 🙄
I had a prime rib that had too much fat on it and I ordered medium. It arrived a red rare.
Lamb offered but they only serve mint-jelly, not min-sauce. Mint sauce is the reason I eat lamb.
The bread-pudding concoction was inedible and loaded with sugar. I sent it back.
One host escorted a long-line waiting to be seated at opening-time but just one table at a time was seated out back in the main dining area. Had to wait each time for the host to return before the next table could be seated. Poor management.
One staff member tried to help by trying to escort us to a table at the front. Great place to eat dinner if you like sucking on casino cigarette-smoke while you eat. We refused.
Wouldn’t eat there again. Way too many other good restaurants to choose from

We have dinned at fine dinning restaurants all over the world. Munich, London, Frankfurt,Miami,New York City, San Francisco, Aruba and others. My wife ordered sea scallops. When they arrived the first bite there was a noticeable grittiness...much like a mouth full of fine sea sand. I tried a second scallop to see for myself. Again, the second scallop had the same sensation of a mouth full of fine sea sand grittiness. We advised the waiter of this and he said he would check with the chef. The chef's response was the the sea scallop is of the mussel family and the the grittiness is from the calcification within the scallop much like a clam making a pearl. Thanks for the lesson but this was a 'first' when the sea scallops were so gritty that we could not eat them. We have never experienced this before.

The seafood towers (we ordered 2 as apps) were of low quality and had bad pieces in the crab. The steaks were all slightly over cooked and the 6 family style sides that we got for the table were all over the place- Brussel sprouts were cold, potato purée was over salted, it was odd and unfortunate.

Two in our party had to send back our steaks (New York strip) as they were improperly cooked and we were unable to be eaten. We were offered an alternative cut (filets) and while they came back cooked properly, they had a very unappealing taste; almost like a burned herbs glaze. We only eat about half as the taste was so unappealing.

In addition, the bus boy was constantly hovering and he tried multiple times to take plates that still had food on them throughout the entire meal by reaching over us from behind.

We’ve eat at Tom Collichio’s other restaurants and have always been very happy so this was very unexpected for both the very poor food and horrible service.

It was a great place for a special dinner — the second time for a birthday celebration. The food is outstanding, the ambiance just right, and the staff is very friendly. It's my third time there, and I go back every time I'm in Las Vegas, even if I'm not staying at the Mirage.
