New York chef Tom Colicchio brings his passion for cooking with fire to the Las Vegas Strip with Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak at The Mirage. This was the best meal we had in Las Vegas!! Excellent quality food and we enjoyed the Ice Cream Social Presentation. We were able to visit and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience!

Staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and any questions we had regarding the food and drinks the restaurant offered. The restaurant was located in an open area of the casino that made it feel open, yet cozy and closed off from the hustle and bustle of the casino.

Over rated. You can find the same menu and flavors for a few dollars less. I guess I was expecting Top Chef and a meal I would be telling everyone about. That will not be happening.

Dinner was excellent including the creative lobster bisque with pastry puff, huge 16 ounce boneless prime rib, spicy onion rings, and creative ice cream desserts. Service was outstanding and appreciated the tranquil table near the waterfall and gardens. I would definitely return on my next visit to The Mirage and Las Vegas.

My client had to send his steak back twice as he asked for medium rare and it was almost well done twice! Embarrassing for a steak house!

This was the second time I have been to The Heritage. I ordered the as last time which was the flat iron steak with Chimmichurri (sp?) sauce. Was not as good as last time. The sauce did not have as much flavor. However I will give them another try!!

My wife had the right thought after I described my meal of undercooked steak and pedestrian onion rings. I should have told Tom to "pack his knives and go".

I've eaten at a number of steakhouses and this one really did not distinguish itself above the pack. For the money and the reputation, it really didn't live up to expectations.

The service, however, was first rate.

Had to send steak back three times because of incorrect temperature. First time was overcooked and next two times was basically raw. By the time my food came out where I could eat it my wife was done with her meal and I was eating alone.

We were pretty disappointed. We were very excited to try this restaurant and were not excited about what we ate. Wine list was VERY over priced. We got the seafood tower ($75) and were expecting greatness. Most of it was not very good. We will not be returning.

Arrived to the restaurant with my party. After being there for 1 hr 45min, our food was still not there. We were told it takes 30 minutes twice to cook the food. After waiting another
30 minutes second waiter came to the table to inform us that it will an additional 30 minutes to cook the food, at that point we were tired of waiting and decided to leave. So when we got up to leave our waiter came to the table and informed us they the chef was currently prepping your food. Maybe they had to go and buy the cow and cut it up in the back because they should’ve prepped the food damn nearly two hours ago. We spoke with the manager she apologized and didn’t realize we had been sitting there for over two hours waiting on food, she lied Because we saw one of the waiters tell her that we were still waiting for our food she looked at our table and still didn’t come to our table to say anything. I don’t know the reasoning for the lack of service and I would hate to say it have something to do with my skin color because that’s the first thing that people of my race with assume but I can tell you this, I will never step in that establishment again!!

Phenomenal food, excellent service, best steak. When there was a dessert on the online menu that was not on the actual menu anymore, our waiter Anthony got the executive chef Matt to tell him and they made one just for me, FROM SCRATCH!! 😲 We will definitely be back!

Excellent Food; Lackluster Service

For the most part, the food was excellent. But for these prices ($51 for just a steak, no sides), I expect better service. Arriving 10 minutes early, we found an unwelcoming Closed sign on the hostess stand, with no one in sight. Some indication that they would open in 10 minutes would have eased our fears that they were shut down for the night. So we stood around awkwardly for awhile until someone finally came. Our waiter was very hard to hear and I had asked him to speak more directly to my mother so she could hear him (it was her 80th birthday). He didn't really accommodate that request so she just sat there wondering what he was saying. He laboriously read through the entire menu and described what was obvious about the dishes, not terribly helpful. Other servers brought out the food. Somm was friendly and helpful, but after we finished our champagne, no one ever asked us if we wanted something else. My sister and I discussed it later and both agreed, had someone asked, we would have had some red wine with our steaks. After our meal, this is where things really went south. No one, other than the plate clearer, ever checked on us. We wanted dessert - this was a birthday celebration! After a very long time, they finally brought out the free birthday mini-dessert, which was really nice, but not what we wanted. We wanted to share a nice dessert. We had tix for Beatles so we had to leave - and asked the busser to help us track down our waiter and our bill. We had literally not seen him since he originally took our order. All in all, BOH has their act together and the FOH does not. But when you primarily wait on tourists who won't return anytime soon, I guess you can still be a successful restaurant in Vegas. If I ever return to Vegas, I will go elsewhere.

Very Disappointed. when I order a $68.00 Ribeye, I expect that it's not "shoe leather thin". The Sommelier was great, waiters not so much. I would not Recommend Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steaks.

Poorly managed restaurant, suitable only for drinks and small food orders. Service was slow, poorly coordinated, and unobservant. Waited 30 minutes after being seated to get water and silverware and only then after I got up from the table to get it myself. Server was responsible for too many tables. You had to practically tackle someone to get a refill on beverages. Food plated poorly, and frequently wrong items. I think Mr Colicchio would be horrified if he knew how bad it was.

The filet was good but nothing out of the ordinary compared to Capital Grill. The sides were not good, which was sad. It was potato soup for the masked potatoes and burnt Brussels sprouts. The waiter wasn’t very nice either.

The charred octopus and the fois gras appetizers were outstanding. Both very unique. Steak was better than average. Salads were very good. We had the Brussel sprouts with bacon jam.........again outstanding. The dessert (ice cream social) was fun and a great way to finish off dinner. We were attended by three individuals who never let our water glass empty, or our wine glass for that matter. They have an extensive bar, wine list, and after dinner drinks.
Loved the décor. Definitely left me wanting more. Good job Tom! Top notch.

We were looking forward to this dinner but unfortunately, the whole meal was bland, everything tasted the same and the scallops made one of us ill throughout the night. Will not recommend to anyone.
If you can’t make food pop, keep it simple !

Everything was the most delicious I have ever tasted. The service was impeccable. The steak portions are large 10-18 ounces. We shared everything and they were happy to split it for us. The chocolate ice cream cake covered in toasted marshmallow was amazing. We loved this place so much we ate here a second time on the same trip and it was great both times.

Upon walking up to the host and letting her know I had a reservation I was very surprised at her unfriendly demeanor. I was right on time yet she very abruptly told me our table would be ready in a few minutes.... and that was it. No offer to be seated at the bar for a pre-dinner drink while we wait. Just a very unenthusiastic response and attitude.

Okay, so perhaps she was having a bad day. From there it got a little better in terms of service but the food was very average. We ordered the risotto, grilled shrimp, lobster Florentine and an appetizer they had prepared for Valentine’s Day. The shrimp was room temperature at best. The risotto was not its usual self and the lobster was very very oily...... I love this place but I’m not sure I’ll spend another 360.00 to eat here ever again.

My son really wanted to eat here. We did this as a special meal before a concert. I was disappointed in the food. My husband and I ordered a 16 0z prime rib with bone to share. It was no where near that, even taking into account shrinkage. The risotto was bland and onion rings lacked spice. The servers were attentive but made you feel like they were hurrying you out the door. I don't feel it was worth what we spent. I will not stray from "Cut Restaurant" at the Palazzo again.

With so many places to eat in Las Vegas it's difficult to choose where to go. We couldn't be happier with our choice! We had delicious, unique cocktails, oysters with tequila cocktail sauce, and the most perfectly cooked steaks. We had a show to go to so we ran out of time for dessert. All the wait staff was attentive. Our waiter, Anthony, was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave helpful descriptions so we could make decisions. I would recommend this restaurant.
