Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steaks - Mirage Hotel & Casino
Impeccable dining experience, best octopus I’ve eaten in years
Great service & food.
It was a great place for a special dinner — the second time for a birthday celebration. The food is outstanding, the ambiance just right, and the staff is very friendly. It's my third time there, and I go back every time I'm in Las Vegas, even if I'm not staying at the Mirage.
5 of us here. We spent 900 bucks. The wine was 125. Underwhelming dry aged strip steak. steak. Service ok. Very overpriced for what it is.
If you like a smoke flavor that overpowers the steak to where you can't even taste the flavor of the steak then this is the place for you. I enjoy smoked BBQ and smoked meats, but this was a Million times more smoke flavor that was so overwhelming you literally cannot even taste the steak. All you taste with every bite is a mouth full of smoke sauce. Restaurant could not find a salt shaker and finally did after about 7 minutes and brought to the table and it was empty.
Filet had a strange flavor and was not seasoned properly for a 55$ steak.
With Colicchio I have, and rightly so, expectations of a solid meal. This was my first visit to Heritage after annual visits to his other Vegas spot, craft steak at MGM Grand. Thoughts: good but not great. Feels a notch below craft. Felt rushed. Almost hurried. Less personalized service. Food was good but not great. Nothing I couldn’t get at my local spots. Steak was good...but blue cheese crust was not a crust. Needed more time which would have killed the temp of the steak (case and point about the meal feeling rushed as I literally hadn’t put down my salad fork before entree hit my table). Not inexpensive. For a few dollars more I recommend Craft all day long.
We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday here. It was amazing!!! We will return again and again.
Excellent service, and also the food was delicious
Excelente en todo!
Overall, our experience was average. The service was slow and the menu not as diverse as we would have expected. These comments are tied directly to the price and consequent value.
Anthony our server was great! The bartender prior to the meal was also great. Very friendly. Will be back again
The restaurant system didn’t have our reservation along with 3 other couples. Not sure why. They said they had issues with open table passing the reservations onto them. 😳
We have dined here before and had the same Waiter James. He knows his business and treats everyone with respect. There is no rush which makes for a good time. Having Christmas dinner with my sisters was a great way to go!
Dinner selections and great service make for an evening to remember.
Huge disappointment from beginning to end! There really is no ambiance to be had here, certainly not that of a high end restaurant. No table linens, rather Dollar Tree placemats, were there to greet us. The bread was Red Lobster style cheese biscuits, only not as good. Our reservation was at 7:45 and we were advised that they were already sold out of baked potatoes AT A STEAK HOUSE! The food was obscenely overpriced for the quality of the food. We had dinner one week ago at Bern’s Steak House in Tampa where the food and service were of the highest quality, the ambiance was amazing and the food was served on linen tablecloths- and it was only a little more than half the cost of this place! This restaurant should be called Tom Colicchio’s Golden Corral. After complaining to our server she had my dinner removed from the check, however our table was never touched by a manager. If you are a well travelled foodie this restaurant is not for you!
Delicious steaks perfectly prepared. Service was great!
Overall a good experience.
Service (James) was good - although an offer to refill my after dinner coffee would have been appreciated. My Manhattan was excellent. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The bread served with the meal was good, but impossible to butter. First the butter was too firm (not almost frozen as it is in some restaurants, but still way too firm). The "spreadability" issue was exacerbated by the bread itself which was very crumbly. Very difficulty to eat and hence enjoy.
We also ordered the truffle risotto. We normally love risotto, but this was a bit too over "vinegared" for our taste. The sour/vinegar overpowered the other flavors.
The ambience, like a number of the Vegas restaurants was ok, not great. A bit stark and a bit too close (however, since there was almost no one in the restaurant (we ate prior to a show). being crowded by others was not an issue for us.
The cheesecake dessert did not disappoint.
All in all, while a bit pricey for what you get, it was an enjoyable meal.
Wonderful in ever way. The appetizers were delicious. The main course was heavenly. Wine selection was great. Wait Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. Very pricey, but we knew that, and it was for a special occasion - so not unexpected.
The restaurant is very expensive therefore we expected better food and service. I ordered a filet mignon medium to medium well. It was practically raw.
Food was not anywhere to the level it should be. Outback steak house would have been better
In town for NFR, restaurant was beautiful, just disappointed in prices for the amount received, and salmon didn’t have flavor at all.
Skip this place. My party's main courses were uneven. Our table's NY strip, while cooked to a proper medium rare, was grainy. The scallops bordered on being underdone...I guess better under than over...but its vanilla / fig preparation was to no one's liking. My partner's cocktail was made with tonic instead of the requested club soda, and had to be sent back. Good salad and french onion soup before dinner. Interesting banana bread pudding dessert. Sadly, those pluses did not make up for the minuses we experienced. We felt robbed of our $400 and we had not even hit the casino floor yet.
This is my 2nd time at the restaurant. I Had English Style Prime Rib Steak with Yorkshire pudding. I also recommend Mix Field green salad.
Great experience but very loud...hard to have a conversation around the table
Outstanding food and incredible service! The wait staff was exceptional.
Excellent menu, fantastic food, impeccable service, BUT, the ambiance was ruined by the noisy surroundings of the casino slot machines. When I pay over $400 for a meal, we’d like to have a casual conversation at the dinner table without the constant “cha-ching-cha-ching” of slots. I’d give it 5-stars all the way if they could just do a little more soundproofing.
Dined at three steakhouses in Las Vegas during the week. They unfortunately did not cook my lamb chops properly and put sauce on top when I asked them to put on side. They gave me a ribeye in it's place, which was very weak compared to the other steakhouses. To make up for everything, they gave my table 2 desserts for free. There are too many other options to go to in Vegas. I will be surprised if this place lasts too much longer.
Overall pleasant experience and great food. The favorites were the potato purée and flat iron wagyu. Can’t go wrong with the desserts either!
We booked our table for 9pm on a Sunday, this was following Shin Lim show. However when we showed up a few minutes late due to the show finishing a little late, the manager told us he had sent all the chiefs home and was closed!!!!!!
Not good! Very disappointing “service” ... come on now...9pm!! Just because it’s a Sunday?? Get with it Heritage this is Vegas!!!
From the moment we arrived it was awful! We waited over 20 minutes to be seated had to search the entire restaurant just to find a host. Once seated we sat another 20 minutes waiting for menus and water. Had to finally get up and ask to be helped. Didn’t get any better from there. Food was cold blah blah blah....... won’t go back
Great meal and great service. We were a 9 person party and everyone loved dinner.
We were visiting Las Vegas for a long weekend and enjoyed our meal. The steak served to my husband was dry and overdone, he thought he should have ordered medium rare.
When we arrived it was closed. Our reservation for my wife’s birthday (confirmed on open table) was at 930. We were informed by the manager that they closed at 9pm. Subsequently were told that there was nothing they could do and were not able to reach us prior to the reservation. So they offered to find us space another day (but that didn’t work). So just “too bad” and that is it. Now they screwed up my wife’s birthday and open table still says I had a reservation.
I expected to be wowed but it was just ok the rib eye at best was a $50 steak not $64 could not taste woodsy favor
While service was great, food was disappointing. Steak (Rib Eye and NY Strip) lacked flavor typically found in a high level steak house. Sides - truffle risotto and Brussel sprouts were quite good.
Not impressed with food.
It was our daughters birthday. They couldn’t have been nicer, accommodating her various food allergies and our wants and desires!!
Excellent steak (bone-in ribeye) - it was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. The truffle risotto was also very good. I sat in the bar area at a table so overlooked the casino. It wasn't too bad though suspect at times that area would be quite noisy but given it was Thanksgiving day it probably was a little calmer. I have also tries the other Tom Colicchio steak house Craft Steak in the MGM in the past. This place is pretty much on par but think I like the ambiance of the one in the MGM better.
Excellent food and service. Helpful sommelier. Great photo wine recommendation.
