Steakhouse
New York chef Tom Colicchio brings his passion for cooking with fire to the Las Vegas Strip with Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak at The Mirage. The 220-seat restaurant focuses on meats prepared entirely over a custom wood-burning grill. On the menu, Tom returns to the American cultural tradition of meat, focusing on antibiotic-free animals raised by purveyors committed to time-honored farming practices and heritage breeds. The glow of the hearth permeates the entire restaurant and is reflected in the Bentel+Bentel design highlighting natural materials.

Dined at three steakhouses in Las Vegas during the week. They unfortunately did not cook my lamb chops properly and put sauce on top when I asked them to put on side. They gave me a ribeye in it's place, which was very weak compared to the other steakhouses. To make up for everything, they gave my table 2 desserts for free. There are too many other options to go to in Vegas. I will be surprised if this place lasts too much longer.

Overall pleasant experience and great food. The favorites were the potato purée and flat iron wagyu. Can’t go wrong with the desserts either!

We booked our table for 9pm on a Sunday, this was following Shin Lim show. However when we showed up a few minutes late due to the show finishing a little late, the manager told us he had sent all the chiefs home and was closed!!!!!!
Not good! Very disappointing “service” ... come on now...9pm!! Just because it’s a Sunday?? Get with it Heritage this is Vegas!!!

From the moment we arrived it was awful! We waited over 20 minutes to be seated had to search the entire restaurant just to find a host. Once seated we sat another 20 minutes waiting for menus and water. Had to finally get up and ask to be helped. Didn’t get any better from there. Food was cold blah blah blah....... won’t go back

We were visiting Las Vegas for a long weekend and enjoyed our meal. The steak served to my husband was dry and overdone, he thought he should have ordered medium rare.

When we arrived it was closed. Our reservation for my wife’s birthday (confirmed on open table) was at 930. We were informed by the manager that they closed at 9pm. Subsequently were told that there was nothing they could do and were not able to reach us prior to the reservation. So they offered to find us space another day (but that didn’t work). So just “too bad” and that is it. Now they screwed up my wife’s birthday and open table still says I had a reservation.

While service was great, food was disappointing. Steak (Rib Eye and NY Strip) lacked flavor typically found in a high level steak house. Sides - truffle risotto and Brussel sprouts were quite good.

Excellent steak (bone-in ribeye) - it was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. The truffle risotto was also very good. I sat in the bar area at a table so overlooked the casino. It wasn't too bad though suspect at times that area would be quite noisy but given it was Thanksgiving day it probably was a little calmer. I have also tries the other Tom Colicchio steak house Craft Steak in the MGM in the past. This place is pretty much on par but think I like the ambiance of the one in the MGM better.

First, the service is impeccable. Excellent wait staff and bartending. However, If you are a seeking a unmatched quality steak with high octane cocktails (worth $18 per drink), this is not your destination. I understand everything is Vegas is inflated when it comes to fine dining, but the value is just not there for the quality or tastefulness of the steak. My medium rare NY strip steak was overcooked, burnt on the edges and the boujee sauce they put on the steak is awful. I was not aware it came with it, otherwise I would have declined. I am a Texan and understand a Vegas steak versus a salt and pepper crusted, smothered in butter 16 oz steak is not the epitome comparison here- however, two weak cocktails, two okay sides, and two average steaks for a $260 tab is not worth the hype. I understand my opinion and taste is very different from other folks, so take my review with a grain of salt!

I was looking for a real good steak. Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed in the place. Ordered the ribeye, no flavor. I could have had a better steak from the grocery store.

I was staying at the Mirage for the CA Big Smoke and decided to treat myself to a great meal. It is spendy to eat here, but it's Vegas and a steak house, so that has to be factored in. That said, service was great and I appreciated the conversation with the somm that helped me decide on a wine to accompany my meal. Ordered the 18 oz. bone-in ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and was delicious with a 2014 Dunn cab.

Not for those on a tight budget, but definitely worth the coin IMHO.

Greeted promptly at front and table. Then our waiter, Alan, disappeared! We were given water, then nothing. After fifteen minutes we called the maitre’d over. He apologized and took care of everything immediately. We got drinks, which he very nicely comped for the first round, and we got a new waiter. His name was James. He was wonderful. Superb from top to bottom. One of the best meals we all agreed that we ever had. Thank You.

Went here for a work trip and this was one of our “on your own nights”. We wanted to see the volcano erupt at the Mirage, so we chose this restaurant. I am so glad we did. It was beautiful inside and the food was amazing. We split a filet, truffle risotto and grilled octopus appetizer. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our favorite hands down was the octopus. It was so tender and just the right char and delicious sauce.

However, what we both talked about was the amazing service. I can’t say enough how wonderful it was. Attentive, polite and helpful. Really special. Thank you for creating a great memory for me in Las Vegas.
