About

Tokyo Japanese Restaurant specializes in traditional Japanese cuisine including sushi and ramen. The restaurant is tucked away in the woods and features walking paths, a koi pond and a large patio for seating when the weather is nice. The interior of Tokyo Japanese Restaurant is warm and spacious with wooden embellishments, bamboo shades and framed Japanese artwork.

Begin the meal with an appetizer like Ahi tuna with arugula, sautéed calamari, seaweed salad or a bowl of hot pork soup. Guests can also choose from a wide range of sushi and sashimi options. For the main course at Tokyo Japanese Restaurant try an entrée like shrimp tempura or BBQ beef with caramelized onions and pickled daikon. End the meal with a sweet dessert like the restaurant's popular fried banana dish.

We took my aunt and uncle who were new to Japanese food. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had a drink on the bar side of the deck, which is new, and then ate outside. The scenery is beautiful. The service and food were excellent!

This was an amazing surprise. We wanted sushi and chose on Open Table. Everything we had from the menu was amazing! We started with a white tuna appetizer with an onion dressing. It was unbelievable!

They do sushi right!

We will be back!

This has been one of our favorite places for some time but the new owner has done a great job in making it even better. The deck has been cleaned up. The koi pond and water fall is working again and the food is excellent. We love eating outside on the deck and the wooded setting in Skippack is very relaxing. I highly recommend you give them a try.

The outside seating in the summer months is very nice. It's far enough off the main road to be very quiet and tranquil. Food was good and would be a great local sushi place if you're close.

Tokyo has been one of our favorite sushi places for years. They are recently under new ownership and the new owner is great. Very friendly service. Food is even better than before. We especially love sitting outside on the large deck for dinner. Always easy to get a table just all around a pleasant dining experience every time we go.

Leonardo and Flyers rolls were delicious. Kids loved the chicken teriyaki and fire dragon roll.

Delicious food, new management, slight price increases. Appears to be less food in the menu.

Wonderful local restaurant offering the freshest sushi and creative rolls. This restaurant is tucked back off the main street in Skippack Village. The staff is very attentive and makes you feel welcome. Don't miss this little gem.
