The food was delicious. Tried the fried chicken for the first time, I chose to have it with the japanese sauce and I loved it. The Volcano Roll was fresh and great. My husband and I each had 2 different cocktails and all 4 were made perfect. Our waiter was nice, attentive, and helpful.
We were seated promptly and the service was great. The food, however was lacking . Except for the spiciness not so much flavor. The best thing was the tenderloin on the hot rocks.
I love the food here, and we always have good serivice, but this wasn’t the best visit. The music was so loud, it was hard to have a conversation. Also, on this particular visit there was a bad odor in the bar area.
Went there with the family for a causal dinner. Service was good and food was decent. Love the pork belly in the ramen. The dumpling app was on a small side for the price, flavor was good but not exceptional. Would stop by to grab a dinner if happen to be in the area.
Food was great, but waited an extra 25 minutes for our table WITH a reservation. And the wait at the restaurant was 30 mins... what is the point of a reservation?
Great happy hour! Food is a little overpriced when not on special.
Happy hour is the way to go. Food was solid. Ramen burger was good and the chicken tacos were decent. Gyoza with their sauce was my favorite. Sake sangria was okay. Ambiance and music choice was great. Our bartender was good.
Awesome ramen. Pork belly was 👌. We got lucky that it was park of restaurant week so we had an appetizer, main, and dessert for only $20.
Great food, and great staff! Our waitress was awesome and we enjoyed the Chicago Restaurant Week menu. Ramen burger/bang bang calamari was amazing!
server was excellent...polite/courteous and attentive.
Love the spicy shrimp tacos!!
The food is always good and the staff are very friendly. They have kids menu that works for our son or we have been there for date night also. Sometimes it gets a little tight with tables and servers moving around, but overall a great place to have lunch or dinner anytime.
We have visited on many occasions always finding the service and food to be excellent.
The recently updated menu does not disappoint. The "Fusion" approach offers many menu choices, even for the finicky table companion. The lettuce group knows how to run its restaurants.
Great food experience, wonderful staff and service. Pleasant atmosphere, would highly recommend.
Meso soup is great. The susi was outstanding and the hot rock ahi tuna out of this world.
Never disappointed!!!! Delicious food!!!
Japanese Burger Rock ;;;;
Our drinks and pot stickers were terrific, but my entree, the kung pao fried chicken, was awful. The actual chicken meat was fine, but it was buried in a thick, hard crust- -like biting through old snow-- and a ridiculously thick layer of a suffocating sauce that was basically salt, salt and more salt. Inedible. How can you make fried chicken inedible? Bury it in a sauce clearly no one in the kitchen has tasted or you would never put so much on. My friend got a bowl of ramen-- it was just ok. Neither of us ate much of either entree.
Food was mediocre. The ramen lacked depth of flavor we're used to eating at other Japanese restaurants. The calamari was too hard eat, in the end we ended up throwing the calamari away.
Service was great. It was too noisy for me—maybe I’m just an old lady now. They were playing horrible early 2000s music, and it was way too loud. The food was okay. I give them an “A” for effort, but think I’ll head next door to Shaw’s next time.
Excellent food and excellent staff! We had lunch there and was able to eat at our own pace and still be done in a reasonable time.
Great experience overall, some hiccups the team fixed and delivered.
Absolutely cannot wait to go back to this place! My only complaint is that the pitchers were smaller than a normal sized pitcher!
Second time: We arrived on time for our reservation and waited 10-15 minutes to be seated w apologies. We didn’t feel as if we’d been waiting long at all! We were offered two appetizers on the house for the delayed seating. A disappointing wine choice was quickly replaced.
Service is fabulous!
Our tacos (fish and shrimp) were disappointing on this second visit. Fish was a fish stick, shrimp was too heavily sauced. But the ramen burger never disappoints! Great item, as is the spicy calamari- very tender and flavorful.
We will definitely return, but no tacos next time.
Restaurant Week, great menu!
Our rolls were delicious. Waitress was friendly. The Hot Rock was unique. Would definitely recommend this spot! We went here for work lunch.
Unique place with nice cocktails and food.
Fun, creative flavor packed dishes! Excellent service. Left overs were packed up so beautifully with nice disposable silverware and cute containers. Made the second day as memorable as the original meal.
The menu was unique but still approachable. Our server was super busy but still delivered great service. Happy hour specials are amazing!
Good food, but they seem to forget to put tequila in the margaritas...
Food is always amazing! This time calamari was a little tough but still delicious. Kung po chicken is to die for.
excellent food, good drinks, good service...Definitely will go back
SO MUCH GOOD FOOD FOR SO CHEAP. Me and my boyfriend absolutely fell IN LOVE with this place. Highly recommend coming during happy hour and trying the filet mignon you cook on a hot rock for only $5. Such good deals and an amazing atmosphere.
Our Favorite Lettuce Entertain You restaurant. Great Food & Service as always! Thank You Holly!
Not the most cozy restaurant. Kinda feel like you are eating in a garage. Not much to choose from on the menu. Waitress told me that the tacos were an entree but got 3 mini tacos that weren’t very filling. They should be considered an appetizer.
Food was ok. Very salty though. The bang bang calamari was a disappointment. There was way too much breading and it was super soggy. Couldn't enjoy the calamari itself because of the overwhelming amount of coating. Our server was awesome. She was very attentive and friendly!
Really enjoyed this restaurant a lot! We were very pleased with the quality of the ramen bowl and were pleasantly surprised at the Happy Hour options. The Rangoon Roll was outstanding and we thought their take on calamari was sublime. Keep up the great work!
We've had Amy as our server a few times. She is awesome and provides a great experience!
The best ramen bowl in Schaumburg!
I had a reservation yet had to wait for my table for about 20 minutes. The space is very small and cramped and the food is all almost really good but not great.
Food was great. Service was lousy. Get more staff or staff that can attend to their guests quicker. Especially during lunch.
Great on all levels! Excellent food. Really enjoyed happy hr!
