Tokio Pub Ratings and Reviews
Enjoyable dinner. Was lucky to be there during Happy Hour when a sizeable portion of the menu (food AND drinks) was half price.
Interesting and eclectic menu....very fusion...on both the food and drink side of the menu.
Marked a few items I want to try next time.
Our reservation was supposed to be set at 7, but we did not get seated until about 7:20. Not the restaurants fault, they had some guests that were taking their time and were longer than expected. Tokio Pub handled it very well, kept us up to date with the situation, apologized, and when we were sat, Manager came by, apologized for the delay personally and bought us an Appetizer on the house. Will definitely go back!
went here with girlfriends before a movie. Enjoyed happy hour with delicious food and drink. Small place, would recommend a reservation, its actually attached to Shaws, which was a bit odd, but a cute place to hang out and grab a drink or dinner with friends and family.
Food was decent, though overpriced. Took forever to take our orders even though servers were standing around or walking right past us, we eventually had to stop the hostess walking by who took our order. After that food took forever to come. Place was not full.
To be honest, I was stunned by how tiny the portions were and I love small plates!! The filet mignon cooked on a rock was paper thin and the fish on my tacos must have been bait. The food was flavorful, but extremely skimpy - even for 'small plates - for the price. I will not be back.
Our food was not hot and we waited an exceptionally long time to receive it. We were told the "kitchen was backed up." We were charged for four calamari while we only ordered two. We had a reservation yet, when we arrived, we were told we would be seated outside under a heater. Defeats the purpose of having a reservation. It was a disappointing dining experience. We've eaten at Tokio Pub in the past and it's been great. This visit was a disaster.
Restaurant was NOT crowded at all when we were there. We had horrible service. It took a little over 5 minutes for my husband and I to be greeted by our server. We ordered cocktails right away and it took almost 10 minutes to get them. Just an overall horrible experience and the food was terrible.
Very easy to get a reservation at the time we wanted, downside was that we had to wait about 10-15mins for our table. Would have been nice if we were offered to head to the bar area for a drink while we waited. And there isn’t really a designated waiting area, we all felt like we were in the way. Other than that food and service was great. Would for sure come back.
Four friends took advantage of your birthday bonus by using a coupon from June. Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to duplicate the fun we had. Service was exceptional especially considering that there was one meal was overly salty for one of the guests & w/o a request, the server made an adjustment to our overall bill!!
Kudos to Tokio management!!
