It was our first time at Todd's. Very good food and drinks. If they offer a special, especially seafood, take it! Our waitress was busy but was able to keep an eye on our table. All her recommendations were spot on. The menu was short and sweet. A good mix and something for everyone. The portions were, thankfully, not humongous. We will definitely go back to try other food.
Prime time seems to be between 6-7. Our reservation was for 6:30. At times it seemed a little hectic for the staff.
Because of the noise level until around 7, we will go back at a later time. The booth backs are not high enough to keep other's conversation quiet. The noise level was really high and made it difficult for my husband and I to have a conversation.
Also, just an observation, the booth seats are not as deep as most seats. It was not very comfortable. I'm 5'4" and I had a good 5-6 inches from the back of my leg to the back of my knee. I kept feeling as if I would slide down.
Overall, a good experience and will be back!
We ordered rainbow trout and salmon as entrees, both with seasonal vegetables: Delicious. Dessert was mango cobbler: delicious
Dining at Todd's is always a unique and pleasurable experience. The cocktails are amazing, especially the pear or watermelon martini. My husband had the scallops which was a special for the evening and he said they were the best scallops he has ever eaten--and he has eaten a LOT of scallops over the years. I had the halibut from the menu and it was equally delicious. The bread and dipping sauce were tasty and we were glad that we didn't get too much bread because we would have eaten it all. Since we were stuffed after eating such a fabulous dinner, we got an order of the Salted Caramel Butterscotch Pudding to go. I don't want to forget to mention that the service was also exceptional. We did sit in the bar area at a booth so we were close enough to hear multiple conversations at the bar. However, that didn't take away from yet another incredibly scrumptious dinner at Todd's.
It was a fabulous dinner with friends and everyone could hear each other too!
Great experience. The bread is amazing! We had duck, lamb and short rib at our table. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and so was the calamari. My only complaint would be the bread was so delicious that I filled up on it too much before my main course.10/10
Service was excellent, waiter kept checking if everything was ok but didn't over due it, wine was a little pricy but food was excellent and reasonably priced, we definitely be back.
Amazing food as always. Plus the off the menu wine list was epic. thanks for a great meal.
Other than the booths are a bit uncomfortable, the food and service were spectacular. The beet salad was the best beet salad I ever ate and they butternut squash raviolis for appetizer was amazing. The halibut and filet entrees were delicious as was the lemon brûlée dessert
Great food and great service. Nice place. Outstanding selection of bourbons.
What an excellent meal and evening. We were a party of four and had four different meals. The calamari was a great appetizer. We had the Halibut, Salmon, Short Ribs and Meatloaf. Sample all the meals and they were terrific. Had lemon creme brûlée and the brownie for dessert. Todd came out to meet us and served lemon cello to end a wonderful experience. Thank you so much Terri and Todd. We will definitely be back!!!!
Great food and service! A hidden gem that everyone should try!
We enjoyed our dining experience there. The restaurant is split into two, with a wall dividing it; one side includes a very nice bar area, and the other is all seating. Its a nice mix of booths and tables. Service was excellent; long tenured wait staff so they really knew and understood the Chef and his preferences, the menu had a nice range within each category, along with their evening specials. They feature good quality products, i.e., the lamb will be either from New Zealand or Colorado, depending on seasonal freshness; the salmon, either NZ or Alaska, again dependent on the season. A nice range of specialty cocktails, that will definitely delight. On Wednesday nights, its BYO, with no fee (only on Wednesday nights) and within reason, one or two bottles only. We enjoyed our evening and will definitely go back. A word of warning, they do require you to enter with masks, and there is no exception to that, so make sure you take your masks with you. Of course, once you get to your table, you can remove. Highly recommend.
Large portion of short ribs. Alaskan halibut perfect
Entire evening was excellent! Only 1 small issue we found the
Mashed potatoes overly salty.
The food was excellent as was the waitstaff. Hope to return soon.
Our dining experience was delightful! From our pre-dinner cocktails, to our fantastic dinner and dessert, our time was just perfect. Todd's Unique Dining is always a great night out!
This was our first dining experience at Todd’s Unique Dining, and it won’t be our last! What a find — the menu is very creative, and our dinners were excellent. My husband had the short ribs, which were “falling off the bone” tender. My duck was delicious and my sister-in-law’s steak was cooked to perfection. Our server was friendly and very efficient, checking often to see if we needed anything. This was truly “unique dining”!
Haven’t been here for over 5 years. It was the same - excellent! I had the hanger steak which could be cut with a butter knife. My husband had the halibut which was cooked to perfection. For what you get I thought the prices were within reason. Save room for dessert. The snickerdoodle bread pudding was amazing and the portion was huge. Thankfully we split it.
We arrived 15 minutes early and were seated within a few minutes of arrival. My wife had the Schnitzel Special which was very good, but the sides that came with it not so much. Our waiter was very attentive. I had the signature short rib which was near perfect especially with the jalapeño mashed potatoes. We will be back. We love this place.
This place has the ability to do much better. There wasn't enough waiters or waitresses to effectively work the tables. As a result, all food was lukewarm. Calamari which should of been crisp and hot, was warm and soggy. Main dishes again, luke warm, and a bit overdone on the salt. Deserts ok. Salad probably the best dish. Although it's been a while, we have dined here several times and it was significantly better. We were really hungry and looking forward to Todd's however it unfortunately did not produce the results we have come to expect. When you throw in drinks, tip, etc. at roughly $100 a head, you expect the food and service to hit the mark. I'd still recommend but not without a caveat e.g. it's a hit or miss experience.
Everything was delicious! Such a great gem of a place.
BYOB--Reasonable corkage fee and on Wednesday they waive it.
what's not to like?
Birthday great food reasonable prices a free dessert
Anniversary dinner. Food, wine and service was excellent. Loved the Carpaccio, and all our main courses (short ribs, rack of lamb and duck) were prepared exactly as we ordered. Don’t skip the snickerdoodle bread pudding, a real treat.
Service was great! Food even better! Enjoy!
Nice neighborhood place, very comfortable and the food was excellant
Went there w/ my hubby for birthday. He wasn’t so sure but I found out about it from Nextdoor so decided to give it a try. It was soooo good and tastefully prepared & presented. One of the best prepared filet minions he’s ever had- came blackened with Cajun cream sauce- mmmmm! My pan seared Alaskan halibut w/ capers & artichoke hearts. I had 2 Fresh watermelon martinis- oh my gosh! We can’t wait to go back. Our server told us that Todd was executive chef at Balleys casino for years then 18 years ago opened his own restaurant. Yeah for us!
Celebrated our anniversary on a trip with a stop in Vegas.
The waitstaff was very attentive and suggested items. There was a misshap with our food, but since we were not in any hurry, everything went very smoothly.
The Grumpy salad was delicious,
The flank steak and lamb were exceptional.
We were treated to 2 desserts.
Cocktails were very tasty too.
Was very good. salad fantastic, main dish good. Desert very good. Waitress very good.
Great menu, great food, fantastic experience. Even got a little something extra for my husband’s birthday :)
My wife and I visited Todd’s again after probably a 2 year break. We visit Vegas at least once each year, but with so many great dining options it’s impossible to hit them all each time.
This visit reminded us of what a great restaurant and a great value Todd’s Unique Dining is. Our server was very friendly and helpful and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious.
I had the Grumpy’s salad to start. If your a Bleu cheese fan, this is fantastic! My wife got the Beet and Artichoke salad and loved it as well.
We both got the lamb chop dinner. Perfectly done and tasty. We both agreed that it is the best we’ve had in several years.
While Todd’s is not inexpensive, the prices are noticeably lower than The Strip restaurants and the food as good or better. This makes the trip more than worthwhile.
Bread - Possibly the best bread ever.
Cheddar Beer soup - sent back, awful. Tasted like cheap beer, no cheese flavor and thin like tap water.
Crab Cakes - Meh - the crab is broken down too much and had crab shells in every bite. The sauce was nice.
Calamari - Good, fine.
Rack of Lamb - Good.
Braised Beef - Very, very good.
Brulee - Scrambled Eggy, not smooth.
Butterscotch Pudding - Tasted like strong coffee, it was sort of ok, but disturbing at the same time.
Everything was perfect!
We have wanted to visit this spot for years....finally made it out and truly enjoyed the experience. The margarita was a bit too sweet and I mentioned it to Sheena....She heard what I wanted and then made the adjustment. The margarita was delish....and so was the food, esp the tuna w/wasabi potatoes. We will def be back
Great food with very reasonable pricing. Ask for a table though, the booths feel like medieval torture devices.
Best food in Las Vegas. Always a great experience.
This has become my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Great wine list and the food/service are always amazing!
Excellent food and service. Love sitting at the bar. Pace of dining was just what we wanted. Thank you
Food and service were fabulous. We will certainly be back.
We visited Todd's on a Saturday night for a birthday celebration. We made reservations through Open Table, but from what we could see, reservations may not have been necessary as there were quite a few empty tables in the bar. The only knock on this place are their booths - we found them to be quite uncomfortable and asked to be moved to a table, which was eventually accommodated. Once that happened, we settled in for a wonderful meal. Great drinks, marvelous salads (we got the beet and the pear salads) and wonderful entrees (short ribs and trout). Desserts (cobbler and chocolate cake) were great, as was the complimentary "Todd'smisu", their miniature take on a tiramisu. Do not be deceived by the strip mall location; the interior is classy and relaxing.
