Todd's Unique Dining
I was staying at a hotel near by and stopped in here on my last night. I am very glad that I did. The server was tremendous. Very friendly without being overbearing or pushy. You could tell that the place was more full of regulars than tourists. There is no glitz or glamour just a really nice, comfortable place with fresh food, well prepared. I had a prime NY strip that was flavored very nicely and cooked perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and asparagus. This is a meal that I have had many a time at various places but this was far better than average. The cappuccino after dinner was a little foamier than I would have liked, but that is really the only knock on Todd’s. I rarely write a review but this place motivated me to do so. Stop in if you want to get away from the glitz and noise and just have a really nice meal at a really comfortable place.
First off, we love Todd’s Unique Dining. Their food is always outstanding, as it was on our last visit. The wait staff is very attentive without being overbearing. The reason I rated them so low this time, was there was a table of 3 very loud folks at the table next to us! They were ridiculously loud and it would’ve been nice if they were told to tone it down or leave. This isn’t a neighborhood bar! It’s usually a very cool little gem of a place with great ambiance, incredible food & drinks with an awesome wine list. The staff acknowledged the fact that they were a nuisance by giving us a little after dinner aperitif but that didn’t make up for the fact that dinner certainly wasn’t a nice, quiet, romantic dinner for us, which is what we love about this restaurant. Next time we are there I will request a table in back and anyone reading this should do as well. I definitely feel this was not the norm. We’ve eaten at Todd’s 3-4 times a year for ten years now and this is the first semi-bad review I’ve given them. If you haven’t dined here yet, please do!
Always consistent. Adds new dishes that are excellent.
Found a live bug in a salad. Room was very warm, became too much over the course of dinner. Service was very slow.
I went with my family. We loved the Scallops, the Short Ribs , the Haddock was a little on the dry side. We enjoyed a nice relaxing meal, would definitely go back.
A great local restaurant for a special occasion. Food is consistently very good and a good value. Have been here quite a few times, and will return.
It’s always a great evening at Todd’s.
It's a steak and seafood place. We treated our friends that we haven't seen in awhile. They ate fish and steak and loved it. one who ordered fish said "it was the best meal i've had in a long time." i don't eat fish or steak, so after being scolded for not calling in advance to let the chef know, the server went to "discuss it with the chef" and returned with the options of pasta with vegetables, grilled vegetables (which i wanted but she adamantly talked me out of it for some reason), or risotto (and she said the chef was really going out of his way to make risotto), i opted for the pasta with vegetables which was quite underwhelmingly flavorless. i did eat it because i was really hungry. so, A+ from my meat and fish eating friends, and a NO from me, the vegetarian.
Food was disappointing. Service very good. No accommodations for babies, feel they are discouraged from going.
We always plan a trip to Todds when visiting Las Vegas and have never been disappointed!
Food is wonderful, taste, service ...casual but classy. Enjoyable evening worth every penny.
Food was good - but expected for price point. It’s been years since I have been here and the decor hasn’t changed (which was already 80’s out dated).
I would hate to see such a local gem disappear by not elevating the food and atmosphere.
Add your bill. The items were all on the bill but the total was not correct and overcharged by $13. I added 4 times then complained. The waiter spent 10 min on and gave up having to apply a discount. Thief computer apparently can’t add.
Chef Todd and his team are top notch. The food is wonderful, delicious and simply perfect. Service is always with a smile, very knowledgeable and attentive. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great wine selection and incredible deserts.
Service and excellent cuisine are the hallmarks of Todd’s. The ambience is nice and creates a comfortable setting in which to converse while dining. The menu changes, but certain gems are always on it, such as the classic Goat Cheese Wontons and the Grumpy Salad. On this evening, we were a party of six. Service was excellent and well paced. We started with the Goat Cheese Wontons, Asian Dumplings, and the biggest surprise of the night, fried calamari. It was very different than any that I have ever had, being very tasty and crispy with the spice of jalapeños.
A delicious potato cheese soup and salads including The Grumpy Salad and a beet and pear salad were enjoyed. I had the perfectly prepared New York steak with peppercorn sauce, and the chef kindly substituted the jalapeño mashed potato for the regular ones. Another guest thoroughly enjoyed a hangar steak with chili cheese fries. The other four each had the miso salmon and raved about how good it was. Todd’s has an amazing dessert list, each of which is freshly prepared. The wine and drink selections are outstanding.
From beginning to end, a dinner at Todd’s is a relaxing and enjoyable evening.
Wonderful Birthday experience.
Was very good food and presentation, waitress was present and attentive. If there is any negatives it is decor vs price. Overall very nice.
The short ribs were scrumptious! Best restaurant and will be a regular.
A lot of places mask their mediocre food with ambiance or “an experience”. We keep going back to Todd’s because the food IS the experience! Todd has perfected seared ahi and bread pudding! We are always equally impressed with the feature dishes and desserts.
As usual the service was excellent. The special of kingcrab legs was delicious.
My fire steak was good but the fries were on
The dry side.
Overall a very good evening
Menu: Creative Food: Delicious Staff: Friendly, knowledgeable Wine: Extensive for a smaller restaurant.
We always have a fabulous dinner at Todds
First return after several years away. It’s a 62-mile round trip from home.
I was craving the braised short ribs which I always loved. Enoki mushrooms were gone, but the ribs and jalapeño mashed potatoes were great.
My husband had and enjoyed the Oktoberfest combo—schnitzel and veal knockwurst with braised red cabbage and root vegetables.
Terry remembered us and her service was attentive and hospitable, as always.
A great 72nd birthday celebration.
Always the best experience at Todd’s with the food and service. There is none other in Las Vegas then Todd’s.
We love going to Todd's and usually celebrate special occasions there. The Oktoberfest menu was not as enjoyable as the regular menu....we were a little disappointed. We will continue to go back again and again for the regular menu. The atmosphere and service are always amazing.
Todd’s provides consistently delicious and well-prepared complete dishes. The halibut with artichokes, capers and a lemon beurre blanc sauce was perfect, accompanied by mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. My husband enjoyed the duck with sweet potatoes. To start, I enjoyed a wonderful pear martini, and we shared Asian potstickers and a Grumpy salad. The wine list is interesting and features smaller wineries at an affordable price point. I enjoyed a lovely Gruet Blanc de Blanc with dinner. We were too full to consider dessert, but next time I intend to try the Port tasting of 10-20-30-40 year vintages! Our server was excellent.
Our dining experience was everything I'd anticipated, the lighting was perfect. We were greeted almost immediately on being seated. Specials were explained. We were not rushed to make a decision. Foods ordered were done specifically as requested. And, the service was great.
We enjoy going to Todd’s for a nice evening out. The food is well prepared and the service is good. We also like that they have free corkage on Wed. Only issue are the booths. The ones near the bar are not comfortable ( too tightly spaced and upright). The ones on the other side are more comfortable , but they don’t seem to seat that side unless it’s busy. We ended up sitting at a table which was fine.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Henderson.
Great food. We were there on a slow night and staff were attentive and very helpful. Easy to get to location & easy parking.
Food was terrific. Todd makes it himself. Was a small old time dining experience. Not fancy digs, but worth the trip.
Todd’s never disappoints. The food and service is amazing and we will continue to go back for special and no occasion dining
Great food. Great service. Great menu. We have been living in MacDonald Ranch since 03 and bummed we just found this place that's "right down the street." I had the Braised short ribs on top of jalapeno mash. Delicious. My wife had the Seared Scallops. Delicious. Can't wait to go back.
Excellent on all counts: food, drink and service. Great tasting drinks with real fruit and homemade syrups. I went back the next night. Prices very reasonable, so lots of value. if in Vegas its worth the trip to Henderson for Todds!
Very quaint and intimate atmosphere with a home feel
We originally planned to go to Hank's and secondly, Todds. When we could not get the desired reservation time at Hank's we opted for Todds. The experience was much more intimate than Hank's would have been and the wine, food and desert were all excellent. We are glad we went to Todds.
A very pleasant atmosphere where to enjoy great food and company. Highly recommended!
Amazing food and amazing atmosphere. Been coming here for years and plan to continue too. Great happy hour also!
Service was slow and as a usual desert family we where there so long we had to pass. Food we did order was good and duck was a pleasant surprise to find on the menu.
It is a lovely place. The food was superb. We had crab cakes which were the best we ever had. My filet steak was cooked to perfection and almost melted in my mouth. The service is excellent.
As first time diners we were surprised at the cool decor and music. Service was excellent and our server was on the spot. The food was great and we took home doggie bags. Well go back again soon
