Vacation and my birthday dinner
Fantastic great time with friends
The food really good and serving sized not over earing. Lively atmosphere but very loud as the restaurant was full.
Food was good but pricey (it’s the Disney factor), wait staff good but the noise level was too high.
Grilled Covina Fish was delicious. Great service.
Wanted to celebrate a special occasion, and bluezoo delivered! Live band on Friday Nights! Food, decor and ambiance are all top notch! A must dine if you are in Orlando! My favorite dining experience by far! Will be planning to go back real soon!
Great service and delicious food. Try the lobster Mac and Cheese!
The ambiance and the food was simply amazing. thank you very much
The Blue Zoo is one of the finest restaurants at Walt Disney World and is always a rare pleasure to enjoy the ambiance, atmosphere, sumptuous fare and friendly professional service.
We are staying on property and decided to book this for a nice dinner with my family. We looked it up on the Disney app and the dining stated dress code and high end dining. We arrived well dress as stated and people were wearing hooded sweatshirts and kids in pj's.
Next dinner and apps were very lacking. Even my kids were not impressed with their meals which they had a simple cheeseburger slider. My husbands fish was totally under cooked and my seared tuna was way way way over done.
I think the highlight was the truffles for dessert. I would not spend my money here again.
I will never eat there again after going in person to get a specific table and being told I would get it. Then when u showed on time they told me they gave it away . I also asked the very rude girl at the front if I could speak to s manager and she completely ignored me
Always love the Blue Zoo. Service was great, food delicious and drinks are “fun”. Don’t know why we don’t go more frequently.
Nice ambience in Dolphin Resort. Appetizers were quite good. Asian pork ribs were the highlight. My grouper at 38 dollars was very over cooked and felt expensive. Portions were large and wine list expansive. Overall an ok dining experience.
I really expected better. The white bread slices before our meal was the best part. Amazing bread. They need better butter. Hate when places try to hard with the butter by mixing stuff in. The tuna I ordered for my meal was not the best quality for the price they were charging. Just didn’t seem as well put together as it needed to be for the prices they were charging. We had steaks and even other fish. It was a great spot to meet. Appetizers were good.
Our server abandoned us for a larger table (bigger potential tip) and never came back. Our drinks were never refilled. After 30 minutes I finally had to stand up to get her attention to pay the bill. Didn’t have time for dessert and we had to rush back to our Disney hotel (with a fireworks view) to see the 9pm fireworks.
Delicious food—outstanding service and atmosphere!
We brought my son and his date for their junior prom dinner. Everything was wonderful from the food to the ambiance, to the service. We had a memorable night.
Our server was very short with us and inattentive. The shrimp cocktail from our appetizer was tasteless. My entree was extremely salty and my son had fish and chips with black flecks from the fryer. I didn’t have time to have anything remade or discuss with the manager.
Didn’t live up to the hype.
Extremely loud. Conventioneers. Impossible to have a conversation. Food is very good. Menu has improved since last visit with addition of salads.
We were seated 25 min after our reservation. We waiting an hour for apps. 2 hours for dinners. Servers did try to qpologize for the delay with dinner by brining over 2 flat bread pizzas and a couple drinks. It was a very long evening after attending a very long conference.
First our server Sarah was exceptional. Her knowledge of the menu and her recommendations were spot on. The Beet salad was fresh and different types of beets were delicious. We had grilled Halibut that was moist and flaky the Swordfish was as well. The crab Dijon sauce was a good compliment for both fishes. Unfortunately neither of us are fans of couscous.
Great food and atmosphere. We will be back!
Every entree was exceptional. The desert was amazing. Gaven Rotundo, our server should be a manager somewhere; outstanding service with complete understanding of the menu. Highly recommended.
During our time living in D.C., we frequented “MXDC” by Todd English. We loved the service, experience, and food so much that we still talk about it years later and have made it a point to visit his other restaurants when on vacation…and as expected? They’ve all lived up to our high standards and expectations. Based off of our previous experiences, it was a no-brainer to visit BlueZoo in Orlando during our recent trip to Disney World. Wow…and NOT A GOOD “wow”… Let me be frank: the food, as expected, was delicious. The service, as expected, was wonderful. But the front of the house? The first impression a restaurant gives to its customers? Severely below the bar. I wish I had more than 2,000 characters to explain how AWFUL! We were ignored (left waiting 30 minutes at the front even though we had a reservation and there were numerous tables open), moved tables frequently even though there were plenty open, and our hostess led us halfway before just randomly walking away leaving us awkwardly standing in the middle of restaurant wondering if we should seat ourselves? Additionally, there was ZERO communication from the front of the house, not even a Welcome to BlueZue or Have you joined us before, is this your first time?
Overall, the food was good (Sorry Mr. English… but Mr. Morimoto’s got your ribs beat!) and our servers were great (they even provided our daughter with a beautiful birthday dessert after our meal that we hadn’t even asked for). It’s just unfortunate that I can’t stop thinking about how AWFUL the front of house service was!? First impressions are everything! Don’t let front of house sink your ship!
Service was great but slow. Food is outstanding. I would recommend
The dining room did not have great ambiance, so we ate in the bar. My grouper entree was great, but my husband didn’t enjoy his tuna entree as it was not very warm. Drinks were excellent.
It was ok. But you pay for GREAT when you go there. My fish was cooked well otherwise under seasoned. It was ok but for over 100 bucks it should be good and ideally better than I can slap together after work. Disappointing.
Prompt service, outstanding seafood. Professional staff, pleasant atmosphere.
Both people that waited on me we're fantastic. The waiter had alot of knowledge of the menu. Love the decor .
This was our second visit to Todd English’s. After thoroughly enjoying the first, we were expecting more of the same. Disappointingly, we did not have a good experience. First, the restaurant was noisy — so noisy you had to shout to be heard by your table mates. Second, the table placement was cramped. Third, the food (grouper) was over cooked and dry, and my daughter’s tofu veggie option was undercooked and soggy. The only bright spot was the service. All staff members were attentive and kind.
The dinner was absolutely delicious. My husband, eldest son and I all had fabulous drinks, appetizers and fish dinners. We all chose something different so we could enjoy lots of tastes. Our waiter, Gavin, was great with attention and recommendations!
Crab cake disappointing. Expected lump crab.
Other food excellent.
Server was so attentive, and very helpful the entire evening. The food was cooked to perfection, and we never did without. Will be back each time we visit Orlando!
Our server was outstanding! She anticipated needs before we even asked. We had a gluten free individual who asked for GF bread options and while she asked our server had already taken the rolls from the freezer to thaw and be baked. Amazing artistry of desserts and great presentation. Excellent!
Outstanding Dining experience! Will definitely go back when in Disney.
This place is amazing. It never lets me down. Service...excellent. Food...spectacular. The ambiance is so impressive...very modern. It makes the meal so much better. Extremely clean and trendy. You won't be let down. Go!!!!
The restaurant is just beautiful! You really get the feeling that your eating underwater.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, & attentive without being overbearing.
The food was amazing! I had the shrimp cocktail to start. It arrived with 4 large shrimp along with 4 sauces. My favorite was the avocado one. For dinner I had a swordfish grilled, with a crab sauce. Outstanding! The swordfish was cooked to perfection, the crab sauce was a light broth with crab meat in it. Just delicious !
This restaurant is now on our must return to list.
Awesome food - great service - I would definitely do again!
