We have been to blue zoo many times and loved it every single time but since coming back after Covid it has gone drastically downhill the food and was horrendous. Service was just so-so. My fish was overcooked and the octopus taste like rubber and the scallops were under cooked. The sides and apps were all just awful. The 2 tenderloins were the only thing that was pretty good! That’s it!! I mean even our drinks were not done right! our bill was almost $400 and I would not eat here again even for free!
The appetizers we had gotten were very bland. We had the shrimp, scallops, and flat bread...not what we were expecting from a restaurant rated so highly and also priced so highly. My main entree, the sea bass, was very good. Great flavor and cooked perfectly. Bread and butter were ok, nothing exceptional. Same with dessert...strawberry shortcake was good but small portion and nothing exceptional, which I was expecting for as much as we paid for our family of 7. Service was outstanding though, just disappointed that we have had better food at lower rated and cheaper restaurants.
Fue un poco fatal el menú no era el que vi en Google el Filet Mignon súper salado o sea 🙄 que me di cuenta que no limpian el Grill. Los scallops bien rico. Solo por el precio te dan solo dos 🤪 y el pulpo ni diga duro como un palo. Y parece que se lo comió el cocinero antes de servir que me tuve que reír cuando llego a la mesa .

The food was delicious, wine was good, great low key atmosphere with the exception of a very loud party who arrived towards the end of our meal. Excellent service and experience overall. We were pleasantly surprised.

Food was great, but it was very very salty. Less seasoning would make it amazing. Service was excellent. But they tell you you have a few options for water but didn’t say they’ll charge $10 for picking one. We thought water was free. At least tell people it’s a charge for different types. Upfront honesty is all people want. It was honeymoon and they did bring us champagne on the house. So excellent experience overall other than lack of communication on the water and the food being too salty. We would come back again.

We would highly recommend dining at bluezoo. The food and service was excellent but a tad overpriced.
First off, this is a beautiful restaurant. The ambiance is great, the service was outstanding, the drink were superb. Like most higher-end restaurants, you pay alot for small portions. And, like most higher-end restaurants, your entree generally will require your side to be ordered separately.
The food was very good in taste and presentation. Not excellent, but very good. We were disappointed that our first choice, the tuna, wasn't available. The bread selection brought to the table was tasty and unique, not the same old loaf you normally see. There was a flatbread, some french (?) bread slices, and some sweet cornbread-like cubes. The herbed butter was also a nice change from the norm.
The drinks were fun and unique in that many of them came out "smoking" like dry ice that made them memorable.
The wait staff was spot on and attentive.
The menu isn't necessarily groundbreaking. While tasty, this isn't one of those "best meals ever" that sticks in your memory. That being said, it's still worth eating here and I would consider this a very good restaurant. Just know that you're going to be dropping some major $$ on very good, not excellent.
The Hawaiian fish was outstanding. Scallops great. Octopus was over charred otherwise would have been a 5 star.
Food was just average this time. Way too much salt in the food and although the fish were supposedly fresh Atlantic it was only average.
We’ve eaten here on several previous visits and it was out. Not this night though. Server could not have been nicer.
Food was good. Service was nice but the lady who took us to the table was not very nice. We didn’t get any thank you on the way out from anybody.
I made a reservation here because it was Todd English and supposed to have Chiulily glass. Food not much flavor and service not great for the cost. I would not eat here again.

Steak was overcooked. Prepared another one, but didn’t offer any Complementary dessert for my trouble or a percentage off the bill for the meal. Explanation was the line chef who was cooking hadn’t been at that station at work in a few months. I didn’t think for the price I was paying that an excuse should’ve been given.

Absolutely delicious! I would definitely go back here again and again. The service was great! And they surprised us with a dessert at the end of the meal for our anniversary.
Recommend everything was great. Only draw back is it is a little pricey. It was a treat for our party.
Service was great. The food was okay but not great. I think my expectations were higher having been to other Todd English restaurants. Other members of my party enjoyed their meals. Highlights were the risotto tots and tempura peas.
Great experience since they are only open two days a week right now. Service was amazing and the chef completely accommodating! It’s always a stop when we visit and will continue to be!
Advertising made it sound like BlueZoo would be a u unique and different experience as did the menu. Came to find the ambiance was typical hi turn over seating and atmosphere. Food presentation was great but over thought for example, who would think honey mustard would go with seared tuna...Nope.

Eclectic menu that offers something for everyone. The use of ingredients in combinations you would not think of makes this a fun occasion.
My server Rhonda was fantastic and had lots of knowledge about the menu. She genuinely listened to what I said and was very detail-oriented.

This place is a seafood lover's dream. We tried several of the appetizers (seared sea scallops and the lobster cornbread were amazing!) & the specialty drinks were also fabulous. Our waiter had excellent recommendations and was so attentive. It was our daughter's 12th birthday, and it was made extra special with a wonderful and decadent chocolate dessert. We've eaten at Blue Zoo several times, and it never disappoints. Tonight was another delicious and memorable meal!
