The lobster Mac and cheese is amazing.
Very convenient, fast, lots of interesting choices, and overall a good place for lunch, dinner, drink or snack.
The duck buns are amazing !!!!
Server was very friendly. The open concept with action stations was whimsical and fun. Striped bass was well prepared moist with a crisp skin. Strip steak was perfect medium rare. Very nice experience I will definitely recommend and return.
Delicious food with a variety of choices. Excellent service.
Always a lovely time when in town to visit. My go to lunch place in New York City
We visited several times during the 2029 Christmas period. Always great tasting food at a reasonable price (for NY). Highly recommended.
Excelente servicio.y amabilidad
I have been there a couple of times and it has lost a lot of it’s charm. The place is nice but service was really slow (half the table finished their meal before I got mine!), and the food isn’t as good as it used to be. I like the ambience, but not sure I would recommend it now.
We enjoyed a good burger and fries at the bar. A decent spot to get a cocktail and food if you are out shopping midtown or walking the park.
Saturday night visit with out of town friends for a quick meal with there 6 year old son. We have had lunch at the restaurant several times in the past and really enjoyed our visit. Dinner experience was a different feel though. Caution: check the check the server added a service charge that was for a party of six or more and we were five. The service charge was $36.00. We ask what this was all about the server said he made a mistake.... ahhh really? That is an additional tip...
Food was good. Service is disorganized and required constant requests from roaming staff for basic attention. Great idea and food choices.
Fantastic! Went upon a friends suggestion. Enjoyed watching the cooking. Don’t miss the fried oysters!! Flatbread delicious as was duck pocket. Yum! Also very nice wine by the glass selection. Don’t miss the experience!!
Enjoy Holiday traditions with amazing atmosphere and food. The food is wow factor.
We ate Christmas dinner here and it was delicious and even had a special Christmas Day dinner option if we wanted to order that. We ordered off the regular dinner menu and I had the Cioppino and it was delicious. We drank the still bottled water but New York City tap water is fine so don't feel pressure to drink the $10 a bottle water. The bathroom is a little hard to find but they have one. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Great dinner evening.
We loved it. We were tired from walking and were ready to have our lunch. Christmas Day is reservations only and fortunately we had reservations. Food was excellent and enjoyed it so much. Will go back again.
Truffle tater tots were disappointing. Zest on fried oysters overwhelmed the oyster. Food not coursed well. table was small had a flatbread and tater tots on the table when the runner came with next course and there was absolutely no room on the table. the runner stood there and looked at us until i responded what would you like me to do, there is no room on the table. found him a little rude, finally told him to take the uneaten tater tots as we did not really like them. Server or manager never asked about uneaten food. slider and fig flatbread were good.
Never refilled water. Had to get my own small appetizer plates. Had to get our own salt and pepper. Ordered steak (filet) med rare. It came well done. Sent it back. The next one came back raw. After that, I just canceled because everyone else had already finished their meal. Manager never came to apologize. Disappointing to say the least.
Even after waiting for at least 15 minutes, we were finally seated at the bar. There were several real tables available but we were not “allowed”. Horrible slow service and mediocre food.
Very long line to use the restrooms in the food hall. Ridiculous, when you are dining in a restaurant
Took the entire family for lunch before heading to the Xmas tree and Rockettes. The staff was extremely accommodating as well as the menu (ages 4-61). Everyone had a delicious meal. I do wish they had their own restrooms and didn't share with the food market.
The staff was rude and snobby from the moment we checked in. They could not find our reservation. They put us at a table with 4 children and when we tried to move, we’re unpleasant about that. The food was overpriced and poor quality. My lunch was cold. Tourists I am sure will go back. But anyone who is familiar with NYC restaurants in terms of food quality and value should not visit. They are bad ambassadors for NYC.
The location is great for those that would like to say they have dined at the Plaza without actually dining "IN" the Plaza. Luckily, we were able to get a table for two as there is much family style seating throughout the restaurant. In fact, there is much more space than you expect as once you get halfway into the restaurant you realize that it opens to a side room with full bar not seen from the main entrance/store area.
The service was excellent; not pushy like many other city restaurants and we were allowed to take our time through appetizers and dinner. The food was very good; we shared the Maine Lobster Cocktail, followed by the Dry Aged Prime, Bone In NY Steak Frites and Paella. The portions were more European than American (not a bad thing) and the flavors were very good (although the steak was not cooked as ordered; slightly overcooked). The paella came in a small (but deep) cast iron skillet that seemed to have a never ending bottom and stayed warm throughout the meal.
We were too full for dessert and opted for a walk in the city and drinks at another establishment later in the evening. All in all, a good meal, good people watching and typical pricing for a NYC restaurant.
Annual NYC CHRISTMAS Outing
Friends visiting NYC. Lunch at Todd English a sure thing! Central Park to walk it off! 😜
Great service and amazing food! Lovely to see the food being cooked fresh
A fun venue for a more casual dining experience in NYC but with an excellent range of food and service. Enjoyed the fig and prosciutto flat bread, ramen with pork belly, grilled octopus tacos and more for our group of 5. Nice drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Finished with a walk through the Food Hall for dessert. Will recommend.
Very disappointing experience overall. Food arrived literally 3 minutes after ordering.... basically felt like microwaved prepares food. Asked for additional sauce for chicken stir fry took forever to get it.
Definitely not what I’ve experienced with other Todd English names restaurants.
Main dining area was closed and we were first offered a seat at the end even though the place was empty. Then another family joined our table even tho there were other tables visibly open. For the prices, I would go somewhere else
The lobster roll was small but the taste was to die for! Make sure you buy 2 if you want it, because one will not be enough for something that good.
Food and service was good so would eat here again, but wouldn't rush back as it wasn't amazing to warrant the price of the bill. But I suppose your paying for the location and the chefs name.
My family enjoyed dining here during our visit to NYC. They had a nice variety and everyone was happy with their meal. They have some good gluten free options.
Loud, slow service but good
Make a reservation before you arrive. You will be rewarded with a better table.
Food was great! What ups defiantly go back again!
Hostess and Host can use a little training in customer service. After checking in with my reservation, the hostess had me and my party wait to the side while she sat several walk up customers. Overall it was a good experience and I would come back.
