Lots of choices! something between tapas and meals. Food is creative and interesting. We sat at the seafood station and it was fun to watch the food preparation. I had Chinese dumplings which were excellent. My husband had a mushroom dish - much larger than mine, though both were listed as tastes. Good food; fun people watching. we frequently go for lunch. I have never been for another meal.
The food is always very delicious, and service great!
I know the experience could have been better
The desert was not to our liking and when I told the waiter he did not seem to care
The lobster salad was good but needed a little more flavor
The waiter was not attentive
We really love the cuisine, the unique space, and ambiance. It has become one of our favorite haunts to keep returning to; just a consistently lovely dining experience. We have taken and recommended it to out of town friends and now whenever in NY, they too seek it out.
Always can count on reliable good meal at Todd's. Great with any occasion.
Excellent food and service!
The waiter kept disappearing.. we kept having to ask, no beg, someone to wait on us. Maybe it was the time...it was 4:00 pm
Been going for years. Always wonderful.
Service is great. Food is great. Neil outside the Plaza is a gentleman and always has been. I take my family at least 10 times a year for dinner there and it’s always such an exciting time.
Not a good experience at all. The food was terrible. Service slow and unresponsive and the place was dirty.
Great pre-theater dinner, tons of options for variety of palates - great service.
First time here and simply loved it. Everything was delicious. Will go again.
Went for lunch and picked a variety of appetizers and rolls rather then one entree and glad we did. Food was excellent as were the drinks. Our server Ashlie was on top of her game and timed the plates nicely. Thanks!
Neighborhood GEM!!! never disappoints — the food is fantastic, the service is friendly and attentive and it’s the perfect location. *but don’t tell anyone!!! 🙊
Had the scallops. Excellent. Service was prompt and server was knowledgeable.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Tried about 5 apps to share . All were delicious. Dumplings were awesome.
Expected it to be a very touristy place, and maybe it was because it's in a hotel, but the food was well made, nice atmosphere, with warm inviting staff. Felt very comfortable there. Had paella and risotto. Prices comparable to other NYC restaurants.
It was not as enjoyable as we wanted...it ended up being speed eating as there is a huge disconnect with each kitchen. We ate two bites of our salad before our side dish came out and then one main dish came...we made a comment to our server and ended up waiting 15 minutes for our second main to come out.
Went there on a Friday evening before going to the movies. I had the Chinese Chicken Salad which was wonderful, my friend had the Harvest Salad which she thought was great, we shared an order of the tater tots, really yummy! The service was great, the only negative comment I have is our waiter’s cologne was so strong as to be unpleasant to be near every time he came around.
Overall a very nice dinner. I’ll definitely be going back soon!
Outstanding food, i.e. Dorade fish excellent good wine menu
great sharing dishes
Very good food and ambiance. Good service. This is my go to place when I am in the neighborhood. Great for kids too.
Siempre vamos con mi hija nos encanta y fascina buenos precios el mejor ambiente y el mejor hotel de NYC
Excellent service, great food and atmosphere. Would recommend for pre & post Theatre. Drinks & wind are good value and excellent listing. Staff were excellent.
We had lunch which was oke! And we came back for the happy hour and they Made us wait 45 min. altough the bar was empty! And they Told us it was full. IT was on a first come first serve base! Happy hour is a complete scam!!
Bad bad host rude and not sure will she was so difficult about where to sit us
I was sad to see that the lamb chops were no longer on the menu. It was a few years ago when I last ate there with work colleagues so I thought to go again. Disappointed about the lamb.
I would love if there were some low counter seating options across from one another. I wasn't comfortable.
So many great choices... sharing is highly recommended!!!
This restaurant has been consistent since it opened and we have dined here many times bringing friends and business visitors.
Suggest that they also offer seasonal special as after a while the Menu gets monotonous.
Over priced ordinary food. Limited (4) items on brunch menu.
The food was great. The service was fantastic. However, the atmosphere was energetic...loud to be precise! We had to talk over people sitting directly next to us. I would not bring a date or family here. Come here if you don't mind shouting with company or sitting with strangers. Enjoy.
Overall it was good and the location was great. We did not care for the High top group seating. Staff was friendly. Location great.
Great!! Short ribs were amazing!!
We enjoyed dining at Todd English for our girls' trip to NYC. The atmosphere is very nice - not too loud which made it nice to visit and enjoy our food!
Duck Bau buns duck skin & fat filled 2 out 3 of my buns. Only one had duck meat. My requested low table was given away even when I was on time for my table.
Disappointed this visit. I had previous great service.
My boyfriend and I recently dined at Todd English Food Hall to celebrate a milestone and we were slightly disappointed that we were moved from the more private dining area (near pasta making station), after we were already seated, to the other room which was busier and less intimate. When we asked if we could stay at our table, we were told that they were breaking down that room and not using it for the rest of the evening (it was only 5pm). We have made several of Chef English's dishes from his cookbooks so we were excited to try some things on the menu! The flatbread pizza and rigatoni bolognese were delicious! The sauce with the nutmeg and cinnamon spices was very good, however the pasta did not taste like freshly made pasta. We have made fresh pasta before and had it other places and this did not taste fresh which was a little surprising. Overall it was a nice meal however the service was not as accommodating as we would have thought or hoped.
Impeccable service...creative cuisine...fun eats at The Plaza!! The mussels were delicious...as was the flat bread pizza. Enjoyed the tater tots, guacamole, and fish tacos.
We asked for a quiet table, a tall order in a food hall, but they found one! The server was attentive and well-informed and let us know that because the food would be prepared at different stations it would come out as available. The menu was comprehensive and attractively presented. The food itself was mostly in the "okay, but not special" range, which, given the prices, wasn't quite good enough.
Our service was not the best and our food was way below average. We have fined many times here and this was disappointing
Fantastic brunch experience in a charming, country family style setting. Met with friends, one of which had her 2 year old.. Loved that they had seating for the baby as well as fun drawing activities. Definitely still an upscale experience and the servers and hosts were attentive. We actually were flying out that afternoon to Miami and had some small luggage pieces with us. We were seated at a table that had a wonderful space for our luggage so that it was not in anyones way. Classy yet friendly environment.. I would not hesitate to come back! Bloody Mary's and all drinks ordered were impressive.
Enternaing with a menu that covers all tastes and tasters; kids to discerning adults. Very good but way short of great.
