The food was amazing!
In the heart of Cape May....withing walking distance for many. Great food and ambiance. Nice for small groups and couple. BYOB is nice yet they do offer a wine selection. Happy with our choice.
A lovely spot, food was delicious, service was outstanding. It was our first time there and we would definitely go back again!!!!
The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We can’t wait to return!
We stayed in Cape May for the weekend. Tisha's is a quick walk from the Congress Hall hotel where we stayed. Logan was our server and super sweet. Delicious risotto.
Tishas is offering a 3 course dinner for $35 through the month of March so we decided it was too good a deal to pass up. Same great food and same great quality was on this menu. Would highly recommend.
Exceptional meal as always. We were pleasantly surprised to find out it was open. We were just down for the weekend to check on house, I looked on the Open Table app and saw it was opened, so we immediately made a reservation, and we were happy we got in. Tisch's has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Cape May. I think we've tried all of the selections, throughout the past few years, and I have to say there isn't a bad choice to be had. Strongly Recommend!
Great food and service. Went there with friends on Saturday evening. Our group only sees each other one a year so we tend to get a little over-excited (and loud) and the staff was incredibly accommodating and courteous. Would love to return again, but promise to 'keep it down.'
I visit this restaurant every time I’m in cape May. This place never fails. Superb food.
Great service and great food. Seafood rossito was excellent. Wife had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this place.
Always a wonderful experience. We’ve been dining at Tisha’s for many year. Our go to place in Cape May ❤️
Welcoming greeting upon entry, comfortable surrounding in elegant style, knowledgeable staff on restaurants history, quality fresh and well prepared food, curtious and professional service. Clean and fragrant restrooms. The best on the mall
Tisha’s was amazing. The lobster bisque was very tasty with lots of lobster meat. My husband had the short rib bolognese and it was delicious. The fresh pappardelle was so good. I had the Thai salmon and shrimp, which was cooked to perfection. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side, but it was nice. Bread pudding was also very good. The service was excellent and nice that it was BYO also! Would definite go back next time we’re in Cape May.
We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. It was very romantic, until more people came and were seated right next to our table, then felt a bit cramped. But we were done, so it was ok. The food is generously portioned and delicious. Beat food we had on our vacation.
Fabulous! Fantastic food. Fantastic service. They were very accommodating.
Once again, Tishas never disappoints. We had a scrumptious dinner of their local specialty salad, pasta Lauren with many jumbo shrimp, veal osso buco, and vanilla ice cream profiteroles. I highly recommend Tishas as a place to dine for lunch or dinner.
Dinner was spot on for our belated Valentine's Day dinner. Service was excellent with all the attention to the detail that makes dining out enjoyable. Karmen, our server, anticipated our needs with the correct timing. Our table for 4 was comfortable with ample room for our wine bottles and the number of plates we had enjoyed. Our entrees included filet of beef, parmesan chicken, and salmon with shrimp. From salad to the end of the meal cappuccino, Tisha's deserves 4 + stars.
Tisha's has the best risotto dishes. Consistently yummy!
Food and service was great. Restuarant very clean and decorated tastefully.
The food and service was impeccable. I would highly recommend Tisha’s for any occasion or for a casual night out.
Went for Valentine’s Day and had an amazing meal. Great service. Great food. Crabmeat stuff lobster tails were fabulous. Only negative was that the tables were too close together.
The perfect Valentine dinner! From our arrival we felt welcome and well taken care of. Food was absolutely perfect, service impeccable, as usual!
We have long been fans and bragged that Tisha’s was best food and our favorite restaurant in Cape May. We are local to Cape May and come here often.
Our meal on Feb 14 was nothing like so many meals we had enjoyed before. The quality of the ingredients was only poor to fair and the taste was poor.
We did inform the staff and they were responsive, offering a free dessert. Unfortunately that too was not up to even par of what we had before.
We will probably visit again, and hopefully this was just a bad night
Food was delicious Carmen was wonderful waitress, polite and charming.
Bad management. If you are going to serve just what you have left before closing for the winter--then tell your customers, or make an accommodation. an apology would be nice as well.
My wife and I were in town for New Years Eve and New Years Day. I know it is off-season, and, not surprisingly, many places were closed. But Tisha's was rated well, the menu looked interesting and so I booked it for January 1.
Short story: half the appetizers were "out". Some of the entrees as well. My dinner came with a "substitute" pasta that a) changed the dish completely, b) was overcooked and mushy, and c) came without a warning that the fettuccine was out.
Dessert? 3 out of 6 out--and no ice cream for the remaining ala mode items.
All not the end of the world--but no warning given. Nothing on the website or the Open Table reservation that the menu would be limited. We would have gone elsewhere.
Food? Stale bread. My appetizer of pumpkin gnocci was burnt and swimming in oil. My wife's appetizer of New England clam chowder was excellent. My wife's dinner of seafood risotto came without the clams--the server caught it and made the addition. Mine came--I looked at it and said, this isn't what I ordered--and I got a half-baked, oh, sorry, we're out of what you ordered, we substituted this. In other words, f.u.
Clearly everyone from the non-smiling hostess to the kitchen staff had one foot out the door. Fine. Just warn us--or, heaven forbid, cut the price.
We weren't even offered a cup of coffee on the house--again, bad management, bad service,-- just a really bad experience.
Tishas will be closed for 6 weeks for a well deserved vacation. Happy we were able to have an excellent dinner on New Years Day before their official hiatus.
We came here for NYE's dinner. The staff was friendly and the service was outstanding for a busy night. The food was excellent. Everyone loved the filet mignon! We will definitely be back.
We had a delicious dinner at Tisha’s on New Years Eve! Both the food and service were excellent. The short rib pappardelle was great comfort food for such a freezing cold night. The kale caeser salad was also delicious. Worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed!
They were very accommodating and sat us right away when we were early for our reservation. Ample spacing of tables and were able to have conversations easily. Server was very attentive and friendly. Food was very good and plentiful.
We really enjoyed the casual elegance and romantic atmosphere. The food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the short rib pappardelle and the scallops risotto. Both were delicious! Great, attentive service as well. Will definitely be back!
Our dining experience last eve was as phenomenal as the 3 times before! Excellent food, wonderful ambience and a staff that is truly first rate. Brenda continues to be a delight to see as we 1st walk through the door. We vowed to try as many different restaurants as we possibly could now that we are here on a regular basis...But- we keep finding ourselves drawn to Tish’s!
Wonderful, attentive staff, excellent food. Had appetizers, entrees and dessert. Every bite of food was delicious.
We have fined for years at Tishas! Always a hit!! Since 1989!!! Amazing food and service always.
Must go every time we come to Cape May
It was a good experience, but every time the front door opened, my female guests froze. Also, no specials is a downer
Attentive staff, varied menu, attractive food presentation, and best of all...BYOB! We were there again on 1/1/2018 to celebrate the New Year; it was another great dining experience.
Food was excellent. Highly recommend the lobster bisque and the New England clam chowder. The seafood risotto was superb.
My only complaint was it was quite chilly in the front room. Every time the door opened cold air filled the room.
My husband and I ate here 2 years ago and he's been dreaming about the short rib Bolognese. So....we hopped in the car and drove the 90 minutes to try it again. Tisha's did not disappoint. I started with the kale Caesar and ordered the seafood risotto thanks to our lovely server's recommendation. It was the most amazing thing I've tasted all year! The seafood was so fresh. My husband enjoyed his arancini and of course the short rib Bolognese. He said it was just as delicious as he remembered. Great service, great food, totally worth the 90 min drive! We'll be back!
Tisha's is always fresh and great. My favorite place in Cape May, NJ. Its also a BYOB so you can pair your meal with your favorite wine OR you can buy wine there.
We went down to cape May to enjoy the Xmas setting with company from Florida. Tisha's was a last minute find. What a fantastic meal!! From start to finish the good was amazing. The waitress was friendly, humourous, and paced the meal perfectly ( Logan ). Everyone had an appetizer that we all shared because each one was delicious. Our main course selection were all done to order and everyone enjoyed their meal. Lastly, dessert topped off a great meal. Oh, and our Florida company picked up the check so WIN, WIN!! We are from OC and have Tisha at the top of our cape May eating list!!
