Great meal, the seafood risotto I had was outstanding, but wish I had known Tisha’s is BYOB. They do have a limited list of bottles of wine from the Cape May Winery, and we ordered the only dry white wine on the list, a chardonnay, to go with the seafood risotto, and were sorely disappointed when our server came back and told us they were all out. Would be nice if Tisha’s stated on their menu that they were BYOB.

Celebrated my daughter's birthday at Tisha's, which also included my granddaughter who is vegan. The chef was very accommodating in preparing a vegetable pasta entree for her, especially since it wasn't a menu item. We very much appreciated their willingness to do this.

Two hour drive for us and worth every minute of it. Our dinners were excellently prepared. I had the Steak au Poivre cooked as ordered and honestly not a bit of waste. We also ordered the Scallops Risotto. No one cooks Scallops like Tisha's. Like candy in your mouth. Lastly our next dish was our long time favorite Peppered Shrimp and Crab Cake. Our server, Kat, was friendly as well as informative. The hostess, Brenda, truly made us feel welcomed.

You never know what you are going to get when you done at a new restaurant at the Jersey Shore, but I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service and quality of the food.
My wife had an appetizer of Cajun Fried Oysters and I had a Caesar Salad. The Cajun Fried Oysters was a tremendous appetizer. All fried oysters I have had in the past we’re fried strips in which you can barely taste the oyster. This was a hashbrown sized oyster in which the oyster was juicy and tasty. My Caesar salad had homemade dressing and was delicious.
For our main courses, my wife had the short rib bolognese and I had the Parmesan crusted chicken. Both entrees were fantastic.
We liked this place so much we went back the next day for lunch.
Highly recommended.

My husband and I celebrate our 30th Anniversary with a quick trip to Cape May. I stumble across Tisha and thought the menu look good. Well we were not disappointed, everything was delicious. Lobster bisque, Capaccio Salad, Lobste Risotto, Clams and Chirizo, and Bolognase were all outstanding. Our server Logan was a delight. Five Stars!

As always Tisha's food and service was outstanding. The Scallops risotto entree was great and Lobster bisque is the best I've ever eaten. As a desert, the Tiramisu was excellent. Our waitress was Cat and she did a great job.

Great little place “hidden” amidst the bustling pedestrian mall in Cape May. Nice linen tablecloths in a nicely appointed dining area. Appetizer mushroom risotto was creamy and delicious. My chef’s burger was cooked perfectly with crispy bacon, onions and jalapeño. Absolutely recommended.

Love visiting Tisha’s. Every visit to Cape May includes a dinner at Tisha’s. We have been very satisfied customers for nearly 20 years. This evening my wife truly enjoyed superb beef carpaccio and perfect halibut, a Tisha’s specialty. My scallop risotto was equally outstanding as was my Pasta Lauren. Only problem with Tisha’s is that it is over a 2 hour drive from my house.

I love Tisha's and frequent it often. It is one of the most consistently good restaurants in Cape May. However, my entree this time was off. I have ordered it before (crab cake with shrimp over mashed potatoes and spinach). The crab cake didn't have much flavor and the shrimp didn't taste right. I very rarely complain but when our server asked how our food was, I gave her my opinion. She returned with two more shrimp in their sauce which was very nice and tasted good.
I will continue to dine at Tisha's but I don't if I'll order that again.

Our first time visiting here. The restaurant was small and very cozy and just looked beautiful. Our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu very well. We chose the prefix menu. I had the shrimp with spinach on baguette toast as an appetizer and then a 6 ounce filet with mashed potatoes . My date chose the chicken with arugula and as an appetizer he had the Caesar salad. The desserts we tried were the pumpkin pie and the bread pudding. This was a BYOB and I did remember to bring my wine. The waitress did explain that they do carry local Cape May wines. Our portions were small but they were on a $35.00 3 course prefix menu and that was fine that they were small portions because I actually prefer that and the price was very good specially for the quality of the food. I would definitely rate this a five star and will definitely be visiting it again. also must mention that this restaurant was spotlessly clean including the bathrooms, and that says a lot when you go into a restaurant.

I love Tisha's. Have been dining with them when they first started out on the beach. I was very disappointed this time. I also get the seafood risotto. The risotto was very undercooked this time and the portion was also smaller. Very disappointed.

Although I give Tisha"s a very good overall rating, I must say that it is very highly priced. There were two of us and our check before tip was $112.00. We had 2 entrees and 2 bowls of soup. No wine. I think that is somewhat overpriced for six or so scallops with risotto and a piece of halibut on mashed potatoes and two bowls of clam chowder.

The first time we went to Tisha's it was March 2017. They had the prefixed menu, however they'd run out of chicken. Yes, chicken. Seemed unbelievable. This December we went back to town for a week. We didn't eat here due to our last experience, but friends of our did. They loved it. So having come back to Cape May this past week I took a chance and tried them again. I cannot say enough in how wonderful the meal was. I truly don't know how they could afford to give us the meal they did for the prefix price. My husband had a Caesar with was quite large. I had a shrimp bruschetta dish as an app.The shrimp was whole. I'd have preferred it either chopped or minus the bread for easier eating. We both had the filet mignon. I like mine medium plus... pink in the middle. Medium is too red and medium well too brown. Most chefs struggle with this. I asked the waitress if this was possible. She grinned and said yes. And she was so right. It was cooked absolutely perfectly. My husband got his medium and that was perfect as well. They did run out of the chocolate torte but substituted pumpkin cheesecake, which was very good. I would highly recommend Tisha's and will definitely be going back.

Food and service were good. Scallops and risotto were delicious! The one problem I have is that they do not put salt and pepper on the table. The server applied fresh ground pepper and refused to leave it on the table, was not "allowed". However, the table directly in front of me WAS "allowed" by their server. What is the reasoning here? Do you think I'm going to steal it? Otherwise good Byob when in Cape May
