Tisha's Ratings and Reviews
We have dined at Tisha’s in the past, Mostly for lunch. We were there for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the meal the service and the ambience. We enjoyed it so much that we are going back again for a second dinner this evening. We highly recommend it for anyone who visits Cape May and is looking for awonderful restaurant for dinner.
Unbeknownst to us, we ended up here during restaurant week. They had a special three course menu. The food was outstanding and the price was phenomenal. We try to make it to Tisha's every time we go to Cape May. No one has ever been served anything that was less than fabulous! This time was no exception.
Tisha's has long been one of our favorite restaurants in Cape May. Recently,we made reservations for lunch and were delighted to be able to eat outside---in November! The couple joining us "owed" us lunch after the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Washington Redskins earlier in the season. Joe was very pleased with the menu. He got an oyster po'boy and raved about it. My sister is a very fussy eater . She said her hamburger was perfectly cooked and gave the French fries an A. My husband asked for mussels and, although they were not on the menu, our server quickly checked with the chef and was told "no problem." I had the crispy chicken special and the onion fries---Yum!
Speaking of servers, Karmen was outstanding. She treated us as if we were her only customers.
She brought glasses and an ice bucket for our wine, without being asked. She was bubbly, professional, upbeat, courteous and charming. She checked on us several times, making sure we were satisfied with our food. So personable! We hugged her when we left!
I recommend Tisha's highly.
Every aspect of the meal was delightful, from the friendly, lovely ambiance to the quality of the food and careful service. The next night we unfortunately ate at a large popular seafood restaurant elsewhere in Cape May, and we spent that meal wishing we were back at Tisha's. Here we found quality of ingredients and careful preparation. Excellent value, and no more expensive than that other place... Next time we're in Cape May we know where we'll be making a reservation!
We are fortunate that we live within a one hours drive to Cape May which is one of our favorite dinning spots. Tisha's is excellent. We enjoyed dinner one week ago and had to go back this week because the food was that good. This is our new favorite! The seafood risotto is simply one of the best dishes I have had anywhere. You will not be disappointed. And Tisha's is a BYOB!!
We live in a large city with no shortage of great restaurants. Our meal at Tish's was equal to the best places we have eaten, at a relatively low price range (for a high end restaurant).
The menu was creative, with a myriad of choices. Some local food. Its a byob and there is a good wine/beer store at the bottom of the mall which has a selection of chilled wine/beer. And its a pleasant walk through the mall or to the ocean.
Extremely disappointed in the service we received during our dinner on Saturday night. Our server must have been having a bad day because it showed in her attitude toward us. We waited 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. When I asked the waitress and commented that people that came in after us were already eating, her response was exactly this "well you ordered a filet medium and that takes a long time". When the food finally arrived it was good, no complaint there. Waitress was very rude.
Great meal at Tisha's during our weekend getaway to Cape May in October. I had the filet mignon, which was perfectly done to my specifications, tender and juicy. My wife had scallops and risotto which she said was also wonderful. Will definetly return anytime we are in Cape May!
