Went for Valentine’s Day and had an amazing meal. Great service. Great food. Crabmeat stuff lobster tails were fabulous. Only negative was that the tables were too close together.

We have long been fans and bragged that Tisha’s was best food and our favorite restaurant in Cape May. We are local to Cape May and come here often.
Our meal on Feb 14 was nothing like so many meals we had enjoyed before. The quality of the ingredients was only poor to fair and the taste was poor.
We did inform the staff and they were responsive, offering a free dessert. Unfortunately that too was not up to even par of what we had before.
We will probably visit again, and hopefully this was just a bad night

Bad management. If you are going to serve just what you have left before closing for the winter--then tell your customers, or make an accommodation. an apology would be nice as well.

My wife and I were in town for New Years Eve and New Years Day. I know it is off-season, and, not surprisingly, many places were closed. But Tisha's was rated well, the menu looked interesting and so I booked it for January 1.

Short story: half the appetizers were "out". Some of the entrees as well. My dinner came with a "substitute" pasta that a) changed the dish completely, b) was overcooked and mushy, and c) came without a warning that the fettuccine was out.

Dessert? 3 out of 6 out--and no ice cream for the remaining ala mode items.

All not the end of the world--but no warning given. Nothing on the website or the Open Table reservation that the menu would be limited. We would have gone elsewhere.

Food? Stale bread. My appetizer of pumpkin gnocci was burnt and swimming in oil. My wife's appetizer of New England clam chowder was excellent. My wife's dinner of seafood risotto came without the clams--the server caught it and made the addition. Mine came--I looked at it and said, this isn't what I ordered--and I got a half-baked, oh, sorry, we're out of what you ordered, we substituted this. In other words, f.u.

Clearly everyone from the non-smiling hostess to the kitchen staff had one foot out the door. Fine. Just warn us--or, heaven forbid, cut the price.

We weren't even offered a cup of coffee on the house--again, bad management, bad service,-- just a really bad experience.

Tishas will be closed for 6 weeks for a well deserved vacation. Happy we were able to have an excellent dinner on New Years Day before their official hiatus.

We came here for NYE's dinner. The staff was friendly and the service was outstanding for a busy night. The food was excellent. Everyone loved the filet mignon! We will definitely be back.

We had a delicious dinner at Tisha’s on New Years Eve! Both the food and service were excellent. The short rib pappardelle was great comfort food for such a freezing cold night. The kale caeser salad was also delicious. Worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed!
