Six of us had dinner on Sunday night, and it's a good thing we had reservations given how busy it was.

Really appreciated the Gluten Free and plant-based (vegan) options. How rare and wonderful to find s restaurant that addresses our needs to willingly.

Food was good, servings were plentiful, and service was excellent. We were seated on the bar side, and the noise level there was too high for my comfort. There is, I was told, another seating area, which those seeking a quieter seeing will want to ask for.
We definitely will return.

Owner stopped by to check on us--that's very nice! Food was really good--I had the white clam sauce. A friend had a dish with shrimp/scallops that was amazing. Another friend had the salmon that was also good. VERY good bread with yummy oil/spices to dip!

after reading other reviews we thought this should be a nice easy place to have some good Italian food. First it started with bread that looked like white bread with brown crust, no crunch yuk.... ordered small Caesar and the lettuce had brown spots and it was dripping with dressing.
Ordered 2 entrees..... would not even take the leftovers home. Wow what a pure disappointment.... would not even give it a second chance.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always good and served by very competent waiters. We know that we will get a good meal, at a fair price. We have recommended this restaurant to many friends who have enjoyed going there.

My husband and I enjoyed Easter Brunch at Tino's. It was excellent. Reserved a table, arrived 10 minutes early and was shown to our reserved table. Food, service, waiter--all excellent. We would highly recommend Tino's. We have been there before for great authentic Italian food and have always enjoyed. A neighborhood gem!

Tino's is always good! They have the best pizza around and other excellent options too. The spinach salad with blackened salmon is my favorite when I'm not up for pizza. You should go! I did not give 5 stars for service because every once in a while, they are a little off - too busy to give the best service. However, it doesn't keep us away.

Pasta was stuck together. Could not twirl it on a fork had to cut it with a knife. Tomato sauce was watery. Bread was served as though it was cut with a butter knife and not a serrated blade.
Once is enough for me.

I am a big fan of Tino's. The food is great. The staff is always friendly and Lance the owner is terrific! Most nights you need a reservation, so plan ahead. The portions are large and they give you nice take home containers. They also deliver.

This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant and like before, everything from the Beet Salad...to the Limoncello martini...to the "make your own " pasta dish was delicious. The superior service provided by the waiter was also worth mentioning. Unfortunately, when the manager felt the need to inform us that "they had a lot of reservations and we had been at our table longer than any other patrons" it left a very bitter taste in my mouth. She included "if, we chose to order dessert, she would not charge us" and was told "no rush but to finish our drinks while we thought about it because they needed the table in 15 minutes". Our reservation for a party of 2 was for 5p and we were approached at 630p by the manager. She also said that our table was reserved for someone else at that time! We ordered apps, salad, drinks from the bar, and were still eating our main course when we were approached. This was the 1st time I've EVER been asked to rush my meal and leave a restaurant because THEY overbooked for that evening...and since I'm a foodie and frequently visit the best restaurants in New York, Maryland, D.C., and Virginia, I hope it will be the last. I will definitely tell friends, family, and my colleagues that apparently the $150 I was spending at Tino's that evening was not enough to be treated as a valued patron. I've received kinder treatment at larger establishments like Maggianos or Carmines. And again, the waiter was wonderful- he apologized multiple times for the level of disrespect shown by his manager.

Okay, to be honest, we have dined here many times and this is the first time we have been disappointed. There were 4 in our party at 7:30 on a Saturday evening. We had made reservations and, in spite of a long waiting line, we were seated immediately at our reserved time. Our server was cordial, however, when I ordered Chicken Parmigiana and requested grilled chicken instead of fried, she said that they couldn't do that (really?). I agreed to the fried chicken parm and, when I got my entree, it was only fair ( and a good bit less healthy!). Without going into details, 3 of the 4 meals served to us were "just okay". The 4th was "excellent", which is what we have come to expect from Tino's. The service was good as was the ambiance. After this experience, however, we are kind of "Tino'd out" for a while. We will be back and we still recommend the restaurant based on past experience. Everyone is entitled to an off night now and then.

We enjoyed another meal here with good service and good food. It is generally very reliable with very good and friendly service. On a cold night the restaurant was cozy. The bread was warm, and they offered seconds had we wanted it. I had the Sicilian salad (garden salad with salami/cheese/shrimp) and the mussels which are listed as an appetizer. However, with a salad and some bread the mussels were perfect for dinner. In fact, someone at the next table did the same thing. My husband loved the spaghetti and meatballs, a generous portion so some came home. We were full and didn't have dessert. The selection of wines by the glass is nice for a small place.

Been looking forward to dining here based on 4+ stars on most reviews. So, flavor good. Both of us had a shrimp seafood dish. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. However the angel hair pasta was so beyond al dente, it was mushy. An Italian restaurant should do better. And the shrimp fra diavalo was tasty, but 'heat'-less.
