Tino's Italian Bistro
Excellent food and great drink menu and happy hour,
They gave our reservation away to another group!
This is a very nice neighborhood restaurant that is good for dining in or carry out. I enjoyed the chicken francese. Service was attentive.
Great food with great prices. Staff was terrific and gave us plenty of time to enjoy dinner with old friends.
Tino's is out top Italian restaurant. The food is consistently very, very good. We will return soon.
Excellent foo. Waiter attentive. Owners lovely. Great place for family!
Another trip to Tino's and another fine night out with fine dining. Waitress was attentive but not over powering. The Chicken Florentine was superb, possibly the best food I have had at Tino's; spouse's Chicken Marsala was excellent too. Both servings were quite filling. We had the owner, Lance, suggest a wine that could good with both Florentine and Marsala. He chuckled at the challenge of selecting. We ended up with a good Spanish Temperillo Rioja which matched both meals. Always a pleasant place to dine, Tino's also supports many charities throughout the year. Look them up - you won't go wrong.
While the wine bar area has a great ambience, the dining area is generic which is where we were seated. My husbands lasagna dish was very good. The Pasta Primavera was just ok. I had gluten free ravioli which was very good but there were 7 little pieces. I am not a big eater but was left hungry. Bread came with the meal but I was not offered a gluten free piece which would have been nice. No salads come with entrees.
I paid over $16 for the ravioli and my sauce was actually extra. I had vodka sauce which isn’t exactly. Our bill was $50 and we drank water and one ice tea. I would not return because I can get very good Italian food elsewhere for better value.
We sat outside next to a fire... it was really nice
Always great at Tino’s. Sat outside and enjoyed the evening with friends. Staff was attentive and let us linger for hours. Food was excellent, as usual.
Great food and great atmosphere, too! I have dined there several times and each experience has been very good. The wait staff are also very friendly and accommodating.
My wife and I tried the Shrimp Bisque tonight as an appetizer. Without question it was the best I have ever had ANYWHERE! It blends delicate seasoning in a light, rich, full flavored creamy broth, complimented with several perfectly cooked baby shrimps. An absolute delight and a great started, along with the beautifully prepared and presented Sicilian salad (pictured). Tino’s excellent kitchen and wonderful, friendly and attentive service makes for a relaxed delicious experience. A gem of a restaurant. Looking forward to many more enjoyable visits.
Great meal in a relaxing setting as always! Cael was a great server - attentive, friendly and helpful. Always a dependable choice for a good meal! Thank you!!!
Great food, generally quiet atmosphere for a business lunch, great service and timely for folks to get to their next meeting,
The meatballs and angle hair pasta were amazing! I look for quality in simple dishes and this met my expectations. So nice to have a comfortable place to take high school grandchildren - they truly enjoyed their meals. Our server was friendly, helpful and just the right amount of attentive. We will return to Tino's next time we are in town!
Enjoyable. Servers were attentive. Food was good-many great choices. We did not feel rushed to leave, so could stay and chat.
Food was good; service was lacking. Hard to flag down our waiter as he also had tables outside on the side patio. (We were seated in the front of the restaurant.)
He forgot drinks; never came to ask if we needed them, including water refilled.
ALWAYS a five star experience whenever we dine at Tino’s. We bring all of our out of state guests here before ending up at the airport. Fantastic meals and service!
I highly recommend to make a reservation throug Open Table for Fridays and Saturdays. Some people left because of long wait times. They had our reservation and our table was waiting for us.
I asked for a special drink and they made it for me.
We all enjoyed our meals. I would have liked better tasting tomatoes for my caprese salad but everything else was delicious.
The food was very good for most part. My Fruit di mare had a good marinara sauce with shrimp, clams and calamari but the seafood was light. My husband ordered a special which was advertised as shrimp, scallops and lumb crab but it ONLY had scallops. The rose cream sauce was wonderful however, but disappoint the other seafood didn't show. The WORST was the service, we ordered a bottle of wine ($40 Italian on special) and had received bread (soft not real crusty Italian like New York!) w/dipping sauce and then our salads and still no show. I complained and another waitress went and fetched it. No excuse for waiting that long, the waiter did not seem that busy. In fact the table next to us did not get their appetizers and got their entrees, shocked look. He apologized. The tables are very tight together and it is a bright area, would probably sit in bar area if we returned.
Always a family favorite but they went above and beyond with a sweet birthday sensation for a NEW 8 YEAR OLD. Way to bring delight to our daughter and thereby the whole family as well.
Nice ambiance. Plenty of excellent wine choices, but nobody at the table enjoyed their dish very much. I ordered the Shrimp Chesapeake, and Jumbo Shrimp cocktail. Mozarella fritta for the table, Stromboli, and Chicken wrap for the others. Service was decent, but waiter did nothing about complaints of the chicken wrap which was unpalatable. At least a discount on that meal was in order, if not a comp. As my daughter couldn't find an alternate selection that interested her, so she removed all the chicken in her wrap and basically ate the salad. Strange they offered no alternative. Big negative hit for that. The shrimp dish was bland, pasta way overcooked, and the stromboli's were eh.. ok. They had a big menu, so worth another visit, if not at least for another nice glass of wine! However, for THIS VISIT it was a 2-star. Sorry Tino.
Delicious food. Great staff!
Nice neighborhood place. Big portions. I had the shrimp and crab meat on angel hair pasta with cream sauce and it was very filling. Place is kind of hard to find with no direct ingress / egress from the road.
I had the Fusilli, which was resplendent. The ambiance was remarkable, but my only complaint is that there were quite a few flies within our vicinity. Nevertheless, an excellent restaurant with very amiable waitstaff who can accommodate any need.
This was our 1st visit to Tino's and from the Maitre'D to our server, Brian, to the owner, Lance, and General Manager, Melissa, all the staff made us feel welcome and special. The Build-your-own-pasta (Penne Bolognese with extra meats and veggies) my nephew had and the Seafood Mira Bella? that I had were simply outstanding and incredibly fresh. Tino's prices were also extremely reasonable for the excellent food and wine selection. It is definitely on the list of Fave's going forward. 👍🏽👍🏽
Great food, friendly staff, convenient location. Easy to create good vegetarian options.
Excellent as always! A little noisier than usual, but still great food and excellent service.
Waitress was extremely loud.
Facing the bar and to the left, the mop bucket and two wet floor prop up signs were visible.
Food was too salty.
Wedding soup was boiling hot.
We really like the place. The food is yum and our waiter, Brian, was excellent. Try it. You won’t regret - you’ll be back :-)
Always great! Lance makes it fun.
Just love how we’re treated when we visit this neighborhood gem. Food and service excellent as always.
Food was great! Nelson, our server, was terrific!
Great menu options, delicious food, attentive service, overall excellent experiences every time I've been to Tino's!! Highly recommend for any occasion.
Met family from out of town here, and had never been to Tino's before. It was a great time! The waiter was super friendly, fun, and attentive. Food came quick, hot, and everything was delicious!
Very expensive/disappointing (49.95) meal. We had 2 small salads, chicken parm (1 tiny piece of chicken and a chicken Marsala didn’t taste like any Marsala we have ever had before. We have eaten at Tino’s before but it appears their quality and quantity of food haas gone down hill. Guess we need to start shopping around for a new Italian restaurant.
The food was amazing as usual! The waiter, who I have had twice now, was very awkward and not very on top of things. Otherwise, was a
We enjoyed our dinner with friends!
Another awesome dining experience at Tino’s It is by far the best Italian food in HOCO.
always wonderful food, huge menu choices, good wine list, friendly atmosphere and great service!
