The food and the service at Tin Fish never disappoint! I appreciate the specials and the pairings of side dishes with entrees. Everything was absolutely delicious and it was a special treat for my husband's birthday.

Food was very good and service was Excellent. Had to wait for a table even after making a reservation. Very crowded early but empty later at night.

Wonderful dinner with friends

I’ve been here several times before and always came back hoping the next time it will knock my socks off. However I think this last time will be the last time.
The food is mediocre. I had the swordfish and it was very bland, maybe kept past its prime in the freezer. It came on a bed of smashed potatoes which was also bland and half was way over cooked. I had to ask for some butter to drizzle over the potatoes to give it a little bit of flavor but that did not help.
My daughter had the half serving of the crab. The price on the menu is not accurate and our waitress started off by saying that menu price is not correct. I think it was about ten dollars more than what is on the menu.

The dessert was gross and not at all what a baked Alaska flambé should be. First off our waiter who served the food poured the flaming alcohol onto the dish so fast it almost caught us on fire. Even the manager across the room yelled “easy. Not so fast”. After not caring that he almost lit us on fire he walked away and left the burning plate on the edge of the table. I had to move the plate to the other side so my daughter wouldn’t catch on fire or the restaurant if it was knocked over. Because he poured it so fast only one side of the meringue toasted. After watching our dessert become black and charred on one side I decided to attempt to cut the cake. It had been in the freezer for way to long. It was not thawed and it even tasted like it was past its expiration date. When our waitress came back I told her it was not good at all and she said sorry and handed me the check. She didn’t even ask what the issue was to correct it for future purchases.

We will not be returning.

This is the third time we have enjoyed this restaurant, and we will be looking forward visiting here again soon. We have had the Chilean Sea Bass as well as other fish from the specials menu. AMAZING. Every single time. The service was fantastic. We have had the cold plate special for appetizers and the oysters were the best we have ever eaten. Delicious!! Each time we have had the pecan pie because it is just that good we do not want to try anything else.

Food and service were fabulous! Our server made great recommendations and was very attentive. Well worth the money. We’ll definitely be back!

simply outstanding, the best choice for a great meal

The fish is excellent. The $9.00 salad was approximately 2 bites,literally. It was noisy and freezing cold. I wore my coat during dinner and noticed a few other people in the restaurant doing the same. The waiter was very good but service was a bit slow. If your looking for delicious fish, this is the best place in the area.

Always fresh selections, well-prepared, with attentive service. Best seafood in the Southwest Suburbs.

It was soooo yummy!!! Happy happy tummy! This staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Nick knows his wines! One opportunity for improvement was that the ladies room ran out of hand soap. The staff was speedy with a solution but the girl didn't quite know how to change the hand soap cartridge. A little cross training would help! ;)

This is the best place for fresh fish and raw oysters. We ordered both the east and west coast oysters and they were exceptionally good. The sesame seared Ahi tuna is my favorite.

Nice cocktails and a good selection of wines by the glass. Lobster-mushroom bisque was delicious and the wedge salad with bacon was very good. Delicious whitefish and sea bass. It was nice to have multiple choices for accompanying potato/noodle/rice. Very attentive and friendly service rounds out a great dining experience.

Our waiter was outstanding! Wish I could remember his name. 😐 Food was great. My friends and I were able to enjoy conversation without much ambient noise. Very enjoyable.

Tin Fish has a variety of appetizers and entree options that are not limited to fish. I have eaten here many times across the years and the food is always Excellent! I highly recommend it.

This is the fourth time we have been to Tin Fish and it always delivers! My companion had the scallops and a beet salad. This dish is so delicious, according to her that she gets it every time. I had the Halibut as my entree, it was done to perfection. The Clam chowder soup was spot on.
The service was outstanding as in the other times we came in.
The drink list is extensive.
The prices are reasonable considering the great quality of food, service.
We can't wait to go back again!

The waiter was outstanding and very considerate of my dietary needs! This place is always good. I miss the linen table cloths but the food and service was outstanding.

We had a party of 4. Everyone's entree was delicious. An exceptional meal was only complemented by the dessert. From the time we walked in until the time we left the service was impeccable. Our sever was very friendly and informed about the items on the menu. Her service was outstanding. We will definitely be going back to Tin Fish yet again.
