We feature (over 20 years) great food and excellent service in a comfortable art filled historic environment at reasonable prices.
Our freestanding fireplace, old brick walls, antique cafe tables, period tin ceiling and locally cut, milled and built on site walnut bar frame the restaurant.
We present modern American cuisine with French, Italian and Latin influences, using local, sustainable and organic whenever possible.
The menu changes seasonally and specials are offered daily along with weekly prix fixe dinners.
Our comprehensive wine list is designed to complement the menu.
If we wouldn't eat it we won't serve it.
The vibe and the food are sooo good! Always enjoy Tin Angel!
Great restaurant, hate to see it close after all these years :(
Thanks for the years of great food, exceptional service and friendly atmosphere.
Thank you for everything!
RIP....it was the best.
Last meal before they close tomorrow night. We will miss you, Tin Angel! 😢
We were SO grateful to be able to get to Tin Angel before they close their doors after 30 amazing and comforting years of serving our neighborhood. The place was PACKED with teary-eyed diners, and we wanted to sample all of our old menu favorites one more time. Thank you, Rick, for being a true leader in the Nashville Independent Restaurant world. You will be missed, but you've EARNED a bit of a rest!
We will miss Tin Angel. It has been one of our favorite venues for so many years!
Everything was superb. Oh, how I'll miss this wonderful restaurant. So glad to have been able to visit one last time.
We enjoyed our last meal with rick and his amazing staff! A wonderful and memorable evening!
Sorry to see this long time favorite restaurant is closing after March 23rd. The food, service, & atmosphere have always been wonderful. We will really miss it.
I had a delightful evening with friends.
Came in for one more delicious meal before Tin Angel closed. So good.
This has been a consistent Nashville staple for years, good quality, service and food. Best wishes to the team as the move into retirement, sorry to see you go.
I am sad to see them close after 25 years! The Mel was perfect, and the service was excellent! Thank you, et
Our last visit to Tin Angel! So bittersweet! Hate that it is closing as it is one of our favorites in Nashville. Goodbye Tin Angel! We will miss you!
Tin Angel is always a lovely experience from food to ambiance and all points between. This occasion was no different. Tin Angel will be sorely missed!
I’ve always loved Ton Angel and used to dine here frequently. So, I wanted to get in one last meal, before they closed up..... and take my boyfriend there, as he’d never been.
Drinks & Dessert was great.
Our crab cake appetizers were only so so..
We both ordered chicken dishes and they were both way undercooked.
So sorry this wonderful restaurant is closing. It's been a Nashville culinary high point for decades and I'll miss it for sure. Many thanks to Vicki and Rick Bolsom and wishing them many happy adventures in their retirement!
Well, it's with a sad heart that I write my last review for Tin Angel as they are closing on March 23, 2019. We have been patrons of this institution since we moved here in 2006, and this was probably the best meal we've ever had there! The Filet with red wine reduction, the NY Strip with Brandy & Green Peppercorn sauce and the Angel Burger ALL cooked to perfection. As usual. The wine list was perfect and we even had desert. If you get a chance for one last meal here, do it. We miss you already, Tin Angel. And thank you to Rick and Vicki for many wonderful meals. All the best to you in your next adventures!
The Geiger Family
After hearing about this restaurant was going to be closing later this month, my husband and I wanted to have one more visit. The food was AMAZING, as always, and we are so sad to see this restaurant close.
The only real complaint I had about this particular experience (if it even matters) was our waitress. When spending the amount of money we spent for dinner, I expect to be treated a bit nicer. She did her job, but nothing over the top. I had better service the next day at IHOP. She didn’t ask if we wanted an appetizer, I had to tell her we wanted one. I got the impression she assumed that was all we were ordering. I had to tell her we would like to order out entrees. She didn’t mention anything about the daily special to us; although I knew there was one. She refilled our water, but I had to ask for a refill on my tea. She never asked if my husband wanted a second beer, which he would have. After dinner, her body language suggested she assumed we wouldn’t want dessert; however, we did and had to ask for a dessert menu. After our meal and 20% tip, we spent $99. For that price, I would have liked to have been treated a bit better.
So sad to see them go! Great place!
The food at Tin Angel is always exceptional. The service and Ambience are excellent. The best restaurant in Nashville.
You better hurry if you want to dine at the neighborhood favorite! It's closing its doors on March 23rd. Tin Angel has always offered creative, consistent, and delicious food and cocktails every time we've had the pleasure of dining here. A rare combination of neighborhood hangout and fine dining, it's a perfect setting for a business lunch, a romantic dinner or a large gathering of friends and family to a common table. We're going to miss Tin Angel more than we know. We can only hope that whomever plans the next use of this space considers the years of good will and great food that have been served here.
One last meal at our favorite neighborhood restaurant...hard to say goodby but so happy that our owners now can retire and attend to the joys of life.
Excellent service and delicious entrees. Love the Shrimp and Crab risotto!
We have been going to the Tin Angel for 17 years. Sorry to see it close
This was a remarkable evening and we had our first date for lunch at Tin Angel 17 years ago! So sad we are losing another “local favorite”.
We have enjoyed Tin Angel for many years . . . and Bishop's Corner before it was Tin Angel. We are sorry to see it close. We're just glad we could make it one more time.
We will miss this lovely establishment. I hope the new owners will be mindful in their endeavor.
Lovely meal and lovely memories. I am sad to see Tin Angel go! Thank you, Tin Angel.
Excellent food and service. Very sorry to see they are closing later this month. :(
This fabulous restaurant is closing -- not for lack of business, but because its owners are retiring. Tin Angel has always delivered on food and atmosphere and will be missed by many Nashvillians. If you are fortunate enough to have a reservation this week, bon appetit!
Always fantastic! One of our favorite places to eat in all of Nashville.
I love Tin Angel and am very disappointed the restaurant has closed.
