Timpano Italian Chophouse - Ft. Lauderdale Ratings and Reviews
We arrived on time, we were seated immediately in a booth which I had requested. Our server Will do a good job taking care of us, food was very good, went to the bar area after dinner, had a glass of wine and enjoyed the live music, overall a fun and enjoyable evening.
The food is spectacular, and the service friendly, attentive, accomodating, and professional. My 10-ounce filet was cooked and seasoned to perfection, best I've had in years. My date and I were running late, and our waiter made sure we got to the opera on time! A romantic, elegant and sumptuous meal, even with the time constraints of our own making. perfect!
Food was pretty good. The service was alright, nothing great. We waited a really long time for our server to take our order. The group next to us got there after us and ordered and received appetizers before our order was even taken. Otherwise, it is a cool place with cute holiday decor.
The food at Timpano is excellent. The linguini and clams and the chicken parmesan were amongst the best I've ever had. We actually went on Thanksgiving and the place was packed. Based on the quality of the food, I'm not surprised. Service was very good too.
Ten of us went to enjoy Thanksgiving together and I must say there were no complaints. This is a fun, lively scene with fabulous specialty cocktails and a varied menu. Delicious food! The Turkey dinner with all the trimmings was just perfect! Thank you, Timpanos!
We were put in one of the part rooms which are a bit bland, starter of roast mussels was delicious, fresh and tasty, my husband had the osso bucolic which was flavorful and the risotto cooked perfectly. I had the scallops, they were a good size served with a sweet polenta which was too sweet, it overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the scallops that were delicious on their own. The desert we chose was a butterscotch bread pudding served with ice cream, nothing to write home about, very dense. The pear martini was fabulous. Price was excellent and I would definitely recommend it, especially if you can ask for the main dining room. Service was on point all evening.
We wanted to top off our Ft Laudy trip with a great dinner and we definitely got that at Timpano. What a great experience. Living in NYC, traveling for work to some of the best cities in the world, you get spoiled and this place did not disappoint at all! Awesome Sauce!
Excellent food! Tapenade was amazing! Live entertainment was excellent, great mix of fun music! I could have listened all night! Food prices were surprisingly reasonable, given the restaurant location & type of food on the menu! Service was great, timely & pleasant! Thoroughly enjoyed it, highly recommend this place!
I had a great experience. Our waiter was attentive. I ordered the Aged Hand-Cut Fillet with Crab Oscar, truffled Mac & Cheese, & Sauteed Broccolini. The steak was seasoned extremely well and very juicy. I was very pleased with my meal & so we're my friends with their meals.
Had dinner with 8 friends the night before a wedding. They were very accommodating about changing the time and number of guests. All entrees, salads and appetizers were delicious. One member of our party didn’t receive his meal with the rest of us but our waiter was very apologetic for the error and he was served in 5 minutes. A very busy night so noisy but the dining room we were in was less so. Service was very outstanding except for the 1 delayed entree.
The ambiance of a classy classic Italian eatery. The wine list is long. While the focus is on meat, there are a few classic Italian pasta dishes all reasonably priced. The chops and seafood are expensive and very very good. I had the fish special, which was the Bronzino. I had never tried this fish before but it was excellent. The pieces of filet and ribeye I got to try from my family members were also superb. A great spot to splurge for a nice family occasion.
Both the Veal Chop and chicken picatta were undercooked but they did fix that. I really didn't care for the taste of the sauce on the chicken picatta at all. I've had that dish many places and always love it but they had a different spice or something in the dish that neither my husband or I liked.
