The restaurant, which features cuisine from Chef Audra Grueneberg, was named among the Top 100 Brunch spots by Forbes in 2017 and offers a menu of casual cuisine and nightly specials including beef short ribs, lobster tails, and slow-roasted prime rib. Come enjoy a journey through time!
Just love this place. Can't wait to stop over with the pontoon!!
On a Saturday night we had a reasonable wait at a cozy bar table. Food was delicious and service was attentive. A relaxed experience all around.
Overall very nice dining. Server forgot a few things but we would return.
Timmer's is rich in ambiance, but not a menu that's budget friendly. Great for a special night out.
I Loved the different choices offered, although a few in our party were upset that they did not have plain scrambled eggs?! Loved the Mexican items
Great brunch on Sundays. Themed brunches along with made to order omelet bar and delicious pastries.
Restaurant is beautiful, food and service were excellent
We have been to Timmer's many times. This was the first time we were seated in the 'White room' and we were initially disappointed to not be in the log room with the big fireplace. We quickly changed our minds. It was quiet, so it was easy to talk. We had a fireplace that was warm and pretty. Our meals were outstanding. We will be back... and we will recommend Timmer's to our friends.
Me and my boyfriend went for a late valentines date and we loved it. Great place and food and the service was good. We would definitely go back
Overall we like the place. Have gone there in the past but it had been a long time. The drinks were fine & the food was good but not great this time around. The duck came missing a side & the side of mushrooms & grilled onions for our steak was only warm when it arrived. Our server while pleasant may have been a bit new as the questions we asked about the menu she had to check back with the kitchen for answers.
First time there, food was excellent nice atmosphere. will go again
I still maintain it’s the best brunch in Washington county!!!
A pleasant experience in a wonderful environment. Bacon appeared to be overdone but they had a nice variety of foods for a brunch. Coffee and juice were extra. For the price, beverage should be included.
Ribs, filets and veggies were excellent. Usually like the bar fireplace, but someone who stokes it made it smoky in the bar area. That’s happened in the past. Not sure if they don’t have a way to open a damper to create a draft. Food seemed a little slow in coming compared to other times.
First time back after new ownership, just as good as before; great food, great atmosphere, fireplaces on a cold, windy night, and great service.
Sunday brunch excellent.Fish Fry very good. Most everything we've had very good.Great outdoor patio area and really nice bar.
Everything was great! Nice selection of brunch items and we were a table of 6. Nice location of table by the fireplace. Friends all said they would be back. We didn’t feel rushed and it was a perfect afternoon to catch up with friends. Staff was great and always there to refill coffee and clear plates. I could see why this has been listed a top brunch restaurant.
We had a large group - eight of us - and were seated near the beautiful wood burning fireplace. The night was cold and damp so the atmosphere was very warm and inviting - a beautiful place for dinner. The steaks at Timmer's are as good, and the filet maybe better, as anywhere we've been including the Capitol Grill downtown and the Farmstead in Cedarburg. The location, on Big Cedar Lake is very nice and in the summer allows for a nice walk on the shore before or after your meal. Service was outstanding, too.
Service was very slow. They put us at a table in the bar area and the music was so loud it was very hard to talk.
Our experience was excellent. We were the youngest ones there (29) and went for the New Year’s Eve dinner. Food was amazing. Atmosphere and live music was awesome. We really enjoyed ourselves as we didn’t want the typical New Year’s Eve club vibe where we can’t even hear eachother speak. Will definitely be returning!
I know it was New Year's Eve, but then only allow reservations for as many people as you can handle. Almost 2 hours for dinner??? Not the same place it was when George owned it. All about the money now. Too bad. Food was good, but nothing outstanding.
Our evening at Timmer’s was wonderful until a group of 3 couples old enough to know better decided to shake a very noisy cow bell every so often. They started in the bar area and brought it into the dining room to disrupt everyone’s dinner. Very disappointing as this is a lovely classy place to dine. Our food was delicious and our waitress was wonderful.
Anniversary celebration with another couple. Special time with great food and service. One of my favorite restaurants.
We made a reservation a week in advance. We arrived on time. We were seated at a table in the bar adjacent to the waitress station. We requested a different table and were refused. The menu was priced to the point it was going to cost a $100 per person. For the 10 minutes we sat at the table in the middle of frenetic activity no one approached us for an order even though numerous wait staff passed the table.
In my 50 plus years of dining I have only gotten up and left a restaurant twice. This was the second time. It was very obvious the goal was to make as much money as possible and not to enhance our dining experience. I will not be returning to Timmers.
Dear Jess, Sorry for your disappointment on New Year's Eve. We do take seating requests for the main dining room or to not be seated in the bar. We always try our best to make every guest comfortable, I apologize that we did not do that for you. Sincerely, Ashley GM
Service was great and so was the food. Will be back.
Went for New Year’s Eve dinner. Food was great as always, service was friendly and attentive. As we were finishing up our meal a group came in that was quite loud and making questionable comments but that is not the fault of the restaurant.
We had a great brunch and experience at Timmer’s this past weekend, highly recommended for anyone!
One of our favorite restaurants in the area. We boat over there a lot in the summer. In winter the fireplaces are roaring. Ambiance is great
The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great and relaxing. It was a bit crowded so it was hard to park. The road next to the restaurant was totally dark where we ended up parking and a bit of a hassle. Need some lights out on the road.
Food was absolutely delicious and the service was super awesome
This is the 3rd time we have come for the brunch. It is a very, very good brunch. Lots of variety.
ANOTHER FINE DINING EXPERIENCE
YOU PEOPLE ARE THE BEST
A cozy atmosphere, especially at Christmas. We went for the Sunday brunch. The food is close to the outside doors, so when you're getting your food, you can feel the cold air every time someone walks in or out. Because of this, the food was getting luke warm. I didn't feel like the food was $20.00 a plate worthy. The personal omelettes were a hit!
Celebrating a birthday. Not a fan of buffet's but this was fantastic. Fresh food made the way it should be. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Food was awesome and so was the service. A little pricey but worth it
Very good time. Food wad excellent. Atmosphere very nice with the fire places going. Will definitely go back.
Our favorite restaurant!
We have loved Timmers for dinner for several years.
They new Wednesday night Lobster dinner special is awesome.
Great price for an excellent dinner.
We will continue to enjoy dinner at Timmer frequently for the foreseeable future.
Made a reservation and was served right when we sat down. Food was brought to us very fast and didn't lack quality at all. Very pleasant experience here!
Thanksgiving buffet, no one was watching the buffet, and we had to find someone to tell them that they were out of turkey, potatoes, and stuffing...we had to wait for awhile while they refilled the containers. Staff didn’t seem as welcoming as last year, and started clearing some dishes at our table while others were still eating. They were moving and taking down tables all around us.
