It was a beautiful evening sitting on the patio enjoying a cocktail and delicious appetizer of Parmesan Calamari! I had the prime rib sandwich which was tender & great onion rings! My husband had a caprese salad and added tenderloin, unfortunately it was ordered medium rare & it was medium well! He said it was still tasty but we’ve never have the steaks served as ordered!
Always enjoy going to Timmers. Reserve for occasional due to price.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome brunch. Nice separate bar area and outdoor seating.
The Father's Day Brunch was a real treat. Many delicious choices to choose from. The servers were very efficient and friendly. Will go back!
Lovely setting to celebrate a Birthday!! Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with great food and service.
Always fantastic! Great food, great service. High ceilings so a bit loud, but worth it!
Wonderful food in a beautiful setting. Definitely recommend for special occasions
Always a pleasurable place to spend time and enjoy good food! Very welcoming!
Always a great time in a lovely setting.
Outstanding high-level menu eclipses other Wisconsin supper clubs, including mussels, oysters, escargot appetizers; full line of steaks, seafood and other dishes, fine dessert selection snagged us for longer stay. Abundant nightly specials means chef is on his toes. Patio dining has idyllic view of Timmins Lake. We'll be back!
We had a good experience overall. Love the location and the ambiance. The prep area was nearby and got a little loud when they were throwing the silverware into their drawers - but other than that it was wonderful. The food was tasty and not too pricy.
We were not from the area, but someone had mentioned Timmer's Resort as a possible meeting place for brunch. I mad the reservations online and we were extremely satisfied with the food, the seating and the servers. It was a very enjoyable experience and I would visit again if I was in the area.
Perfect evening with exception of prime rib special... husband said meat was overdone and "just not very good". Son liked his fish and my sandwich was good. Service was exceptiobal..people so friendly. Will not let this preclude us from coming back again
I've been to Timmer's 3 times now and this was certainly the charm. The food was better than ever (Prime rib special) and you can't beat the ambiance. We had a party of 6 old friends and it was agreed across the board that this was a great pick.
Lovely setting, wish we'd known about this place when we were planning our wedding. Would have made wonderful pictures. This is what I said to my in laws as we walked up to the door.
We arrived early for the reservation, and the hostess quickly showed us to a table with a smile. The restaurant was quiet, and full of mostly older couples. Fine with me on all counts, really appreciated the quieter setting.
We all got the prime rib special, my mother in law and I chose medium, and my husband and father in law chose medium well.
The meal came with soup or salad, we all chose the salad. It was mixed greens and a few croutons, with dressing on the side, which I really like. The warm rolls came out a few minutes later. They had a delightful crust, and were warm and fluffy inside.
The prime rib was served in slices, au jus on the side, with green beans, tiny round carrot balls (for lack of a better description - they were in an herb butter and delicious!), and a serving of mashed potatoes. I was certainly full after that, with the salad, beans, potatoes, and carrots all on the reasonably small side. Nice not to have gargantuan portions.
Then the strawberry schaum torte was served - a scoop of vanilla ice cream, topped with thinly sliced stawberries, the schaum was off to the side, also topped with strawberries, and a small dollop of whipped cream nestled between the two. It was a perfectly satisfying end to a lovely meal. The waitress even held my husband's dessert, as he got paged for work right before it came out. All in all, a lovely meal.
As usual we had a great time and wonderful brunch. our guests were so impressed that they are planning a family dinner at Timmers.
On a busy Saturday night our server and the kitchen were able to accommodate
my special requests and came up with just delicious food. Great service from Shannon.
Rustic setting with inviting fire place created a warm dining experience. Wait staff was very helpful with food selection and attentive in keeping water glasses full. Sea food options were deliciously prepared and delightfully presented. Finished with the turtle cheese cake and coffee. Well paced meal.
Amazing Easter brunch! Just the right amount of great food.
The buffet was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.
Love this restaurant! (even though this visit was not as outstanding as our last. )
We were there for their Sunday Brunch which includes all of the usual brunch items and then some themed selections. This week the theme was Italian. The normal brunch items were as good as usual. A couple of the Italian items fell short. The pasta served w\ the Chicken Parmigian was "naked" and thus dry. The Tiramisu bread pudding was also dry from sitting in the steamer tray.
This can happen at any restaurant, it's how the staff reacts that can keep their customes happy.
The staff was quick to correct the couple of disapointing dishes by bringing sauce for the pasta and bringing out a fresh pan of the bread pudding. The minor glitches will not deter us from returning again and again.
Excellent Sunday Brunch including made-to-order omelets.
I remembered Timmers having decent food, our food was bland, flavorless and the mushrooms that came with my dinner was the texture and toughness of shoe leather. The hostess was rude and arrogant. However, our bartender and waitress was helpful and professional. We will not be returning.
Superb food and service. I’m there as Oren as I can.
Staff was so friendly, perfect temperature overall amazing experience
We were blessed to celebrate our Anniversary at Timmer's Resort. The rustic, lake side ambiance makes dinner there a real treat. We were hungry for Prime Rib and enjoyed Timmer's immensely. Their service was gracious and attentive, making our special day even more special. Thank you Timmers!
The Dinner was great as always but I put the emails for open table in blocked list because you send to many. Its annoying
Went for valentines day/anniversary. Food was amazing and service was great! Was a nice dim lit room with a wood fire place. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
So far, Timmer's is batting 2 : 2. The Friday fish fries are excellent. Get there by 4 when they open and seating is not a problem. No reservations are accepted that day. Reserved a Tuesday for 5 pm, when they open. Still seating was available, in fact we were the only couple, at least for 10 minutes. The salmon was to die for and so were the jumbo shrimp. This time, only one round of margaritas, as they go down so well, it seems a sin not to have another. The old saying: "if you have hair on your chest, it will take it off". Oh so good!
The staff was very likeable, professional but not rushed nor did they want to have us leave when finished. A very, very enjoyable experience.
Always enjoy Timmers no matter what the occasion!! Good food/service/ambiance/lake view/huge log fireplace, especially in Fall and Winter/casual yet classy......one of our FAVORITE spots!!
Great food and service. Has a great supper clubish feel
This was a girls night out! Everything was scrumptious! We loved everything, every crumb! We will be back :-)
We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at Timmers. We have been to many supper clubs over the years and this was the nicest of all. We ate in the bar which is charming. Great drinks, food and ambiance. We can’t wait to return.
Wow! What a find. The restaurant is over 100 yrs old and it's the first time we've been there,
but it definitely won't be the last.
We went for Sunday brunch and it was outstanding. The dinning room with its beautiful floor to ceiling fire place with a lit fire set the right mood for a dreary day. The entire staff made us feel at home. Jessica our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the history of the resort. She explained the brunch offering to us, kept our coffee cups filled and plates cleared. Jessica also introduced us to Chef Audra. Chef Audra's brunch includes all of the routine items you'd expect on a fine brunch, in addition to a couple of "themed" entrees that change every week. . This week, Chef Audra's themed items were French and included Bouillabaisse, Coq Au Vin, Crepes and potatoes Dauphinoise. Everything was delicious. We can't wait to see and taste what Chef Audra will prepare for our next visit.
This is one of our favorite places in all of Southeastern Wisconsin. Almost don't want the secret to get out as my wait times may increase. Great food - outstanding people.
It was an amazing brunch. We have a celiac in our family and Chef Audra made sure she was well taken care of. She walked my daughter through what she could have on the buffet and even made a few special dishes for her. Could not have been more impressed or thankful. Great food, great service it was a wonderful day.
Extremely nice place to dine. Not easy to get to but worth the trip. Will go back but not order the ribeye steak.
On a cool Wisconsin Sunday, healthy/great food near a roaring fire = everything was perfect!
The menu consisted mostly of fish, and as I am not a fish eater I was disappointed. Not even chicken, I opted for the steaks because that's all that was left. Now that in turn had to be taken back also because not done to my order. Quite disappointed for a New Years dinner.
