Loved the ambiance. Our meals were perfectly prepared, included some out of the ordinary ingredients and came in ample portions making them a good value for the price.
The waitress did not know what a hand crafted cocktail was. She was not familiar with menu recommendations. Food was average. Small cup of soup and skimpy salad.
We have never been disappointed with a meal at Timmers. Always quality food, with quality presentation. The walleye is outstanding, as are all the dishes. Very comfortable atmosphere. Nice entertainment on Friday nights. Never missed a beat on New Years Eve.
This was our first visit under the new ownership group and we enjoyed our visit. Our visit was for New Year's Eve and therefore they had a smaller menu of items to choose from. We had the small filet and the parmesan crusted grouper, both were flavorful and big portions (probably more than needed). Kim was our server and she was attentive and helpful. The ambiance is always great with the fireplaces roaring while the snow was falling outside. Definitely will be stopping back again to check out the regular menu.
Went for New Year’s Eve. Inspire of horrible weather we were so glad we went. Food was amazing as usual, we were seated promptly, the staff took our picture at the nicely decorated fireplace and the meal came out correct as the flavors were amazing, finished off with coffee and dessert.
Enjoyed New Year’s Eve here. Food was very good. Nice options. Would recommend and will be back.
We love Timmer’s. It is one of our favorite places to go for dinner on Saturday night. We enjoy the patio dining in the summer and the big old fieldstone fireplace in the winter. Great food and atmosphere!
We love this restaurant and always have had great food and great service. The food was great for all 4 of us and we hadn’t seen each other for a long time so we sat at the table after dinner for a long time. No one rushed us out and even kept asking if we needed water or coffee. Class act we will be back again!!!
For the prices they charge one could a lot better at other resturants...
We so enjoyed our Sunday Brunch and we were surprised that we were there on a Sunday when the specialty of the this Sunday's brunch was Mexican entrees along with there traditional entrees. The Mexican dishes were as good or better then many of the Mexican restaurants we frequent. The atmosphere was so pleasant and cozy with elegant, subtle Christmas decorations which really put us in the holiday spirit. We have decided to be sure to think of Timmer's for a wonderful dining experience more often in the future.
The food was delicious. The drinks were good. the Christmas atmosphere was lovely.
It was way to noisy was hard to hear
We wanted to make a trip to Timmer's before the hostess Fran officially retired. It did not disappoint! We stopped in the bar first for a cocktail. They were handing out complementary eggplant with a tomato dipping sauce. It was great!
The food, the service are spectacular. We especially enjoy the calamari appetizer. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the walleye fish was to die for ! During the winter, the fireplace is stoked and very cozy. The summer lends itself to awesome patio dining. We will definitely be back again.
Food is always delicious! Decorated so pretty for Xmas! Nice fire going in the fireplace. Everyone is very nice there!
Timmer's restaurant is in a beautiful setting. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is excellent and the service can't be beat. We were there for Thanksgiving which is a very busy time, but it was a relaxed atmosphere and the staff handled it well. I hope Timmer's restaurant continues its excellent service and wonderful food.

Second Thanksgiving at Timmers. Great place to start the holiday spirit. Feels like you should pull up in a sleigh. Brunch is wonderful. Serve friendly and efficient even though they were very busy.
Thanksgiving brunch at Timmer’s, truly gives everyone something very special for which to be thankful!!!
Everything about Timmer’s is special & memorable.
the only problem was that my table was not properly cleared from the guests before us. our water glasses were from the previous guest and dirty. Glad I noticed before taking a drink.
Good food and drinks, nice atmosphere
Quite simply, Timmers provided the best restaurant meals we've experienced in many, many years. Highly recommended. Only downside was the lighting being a bit too dim.
Excellent brunch. Loved senior pricing! Delicious Bloody Mary cocktail!
Wonderful idyllic location with an outstanding menu and great service!
The entire staff is very friendly and professional. Food is delicious. It's a lovely place but due to high ceilings, aliitle loud for me.
My first time there. Loved the atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious!
We were there for the Sunday Brunch. Once again everything was fantastic. I was there a few weeks ago for Dinner. I wanted to try there brunch with was excellent. It had wonderful selection to pick from. This brunch has things you would find at a normal Brunch, but then there are so many different things offered that you may not see at any other brunch. It was a pleasant time and the food was excellent. Knowing the history of Timmer's and going to Timmer's for many years, I also would recommend buying the lovely book they sell on the History of Timmer's. There were so many things that I could remember from when I was a child to later on in my life. So many wonderful memories reading the book along with many laughs as well. This is a wonderful and lovely place to go to. Thank you all once again for a very special visit. See you soon!
We enjoyed our evening very much. Started with cocktails in the bar and moved on to a lovely and leisurely dinner. The grouper and halibut were both delicious. We all raved about the carrots. The schaum torte was spectacular, crispy and not overly sweet. No leftovers here!
Great variety for buffet. Great food, nice waitresses, lovley room. Beautiful grounds!
One of our party is wheelchair bound and the staff was very alert to making him comfortable. French cuisine was the theme for the Sunday brunch; the pastry was exceptional. Driving through the Kettle Moraine to get there is always a treat. Hope to return when the colors change in fall.
We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary with our two daughters. It was a great night. Thank you to Fran and Jeff!
The evening was wonderful. Everyone was just great. The Hostess had a great personality. The place was busy the night we were there. I did make reservation prior so I had confirmation and we were seated on time without any delay. I would recommend that. Waitress was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to have waiting on us. Excellent. The food was wonderful., including the dessert! What a Great Night. We will be back again soon for your Sunday Brunch and wonderful dinners to come. It brought back so many memories of the many times over the years I have been at Timmer's. They did a Fantastic Job on the property. I Hope the Next Owners will realize the wonderful History of Timmer's. It is one of the few Supper Clubs remaining over the years on Big Cedar Lake. Timmer's is a Cherished Jewel that should remain for many more years for people to visit and enjoy. Thank you all for such a special night.
The quality of the food for the money is an amazing value. The service is good. The food selection is not extensive or exotic but it’s familiar and done well.
Great brunch! We visited Timmer's on September 2 and found everything to our liking. There are a lot of places that serve brunch but none with the quality provided by Timmer's!
Nice meal with some good friends. Everyone opted for the prime rib which is a Saturday night special.
Went there August 26 for my wife's birthday and to see Bella Musik.
Food was very good. Ate in the bar area at a table but still very nice.
Please bring back Bella Musik!!
We had the walleye. Delish. But what stood out was the cream of mushroom soup with a hint of truffle. Perfect consistency. Not so thick like I normally get served. We'll be back!
It is on Big Cedar Lake but it is not waterfront. The restaurant sits far back from the lake and the lake view is obstructed by cottages owned by the Timmer family. Food was excellent but service did not come up to the food and cost. We were never asked if we wanted a second beverage, if everything was okay, if there was anything else we wanted including dessert.
A little pricey for the food and small cocktail . Cash only bar was a bummer
The scallops special was delicious! I also loved the homemade tomato soup.
Timmer's is probably our favorite restaurant and we eat out very often.
We LOVE Timmers! Especially the brunch. We let Timmers do the cooking on Thanksgiving and Easter now.
The dining room can get a bit noisy but we feel that the inconvenience of that aspect of the restaurant is a small price to pay for the excellent food and service that you provide.
