Lively at 9:30 on a Wednesday night. Awesome live music. Great people watching. Accommodating staff. Limited vegetarian options; however, our entire meal was delicious. They ran out of the mushroom sheppard's pie, but substituted the seasonal vegetables for the chicken in the bucatini.
Small disappointment that our appetizer plates were taken away before we were done, as well one diner's dinner plate (let me get all the gravy with the bread!).
Baby Kale Salad & Cheese Plate to share,
2 Chicken Bucatini sub Seasonal Vegetables.
Will mostly return.
Entertainment was excellent and food was great as always. The burgers are delicious, but try the shrimp and grits.
Loved the live jazz music. Highly recommend for night out with friends or date. Cozy atmosphere.
We went for dinner and the jazz. Decent food and the music was good. A little loud for conversation with a party of four, but we went for the music so that was fine.
Very much enjoyed our meal at Time during Restaurant Week. Server was as sweet as could be but on a couple of occasions, the kitchen delivered food but did not give us utensils. They were very busy, so trying to catch our server's attention was a challenge. I am sure the food would have been even better hot out of the kitchen. Other than that little hiccup - Time was wonderful!
Met co-workers during restaurant week....definitely did not leave hungry, delicious food, great drinks, wonderful service. First time here, will need to try it again!
Great bar seating area, a lot of fantastic drink selections, limited menu but with good diversity of choices and excellent preparation, tasteful live music in the background. Perfect for casual, business or dating spot. My out of town guest really enjoyed the meal and I plan to go back with my wife.
Everything was exceptional! We were a party of 4, we went with the restaurant week menu and all of us were very pleased with the food. It is apparent that you have a very talented kitchen staff. (The risotto was cooked perfectly, and whoever made the bread pudding... Well done!) The live music was very nice. Our server was great, very pleasant with just the right amount of attentiveness. All the cocktails we had were very good. I had the giniroquai? Although it wasn't what I was expecting it was so good I ordered a second one, and I didn't get the name at first, but then I was taken back to the 90's.
I saw some nice looking things coming out of the kitchen, so I'll be back to try the regular menu
Great job Time! Thank you!
My wife and I booked a table for the beginning of restaurant week and we opted for the $35 preset menu. It’s started with an Amuse Bouche of three separate items which were very tasty. The first course was a winter salad and a butternut squash soup. The soup was extremely creamy and garnished with pumpkin seeds and a parsley oil. It was very tasty, though it cooled off very quickly. The salad was fresh and nicely dressed. The second course was a mushroom risotto that had good flavor and texture. Our entrees were salmon on a bed of roasted root vegetables and a beef brisket atop puréed potatoes. Both were well executed - flavorful and nicely presented. Dessert was a pot de creme which was also very enjoyable.
The service was acceptable, though a bit unsophisticated. The dishes were delivered by the kitchen and the silverware setups by the wait staff who delivered a teaspoon for the soup and soup spoons for the Risotto. In both instances the cloth napkins were left to accumulate following the completion of each course. When the check came it was clear that we enjoyed a good value inclusive of four ala carte glasses of house merlot. The total before tip was ~$105! Hard to find a better value.
Always lovely time at the bar for the Dinner Jazz and then sat at a table for dinner. The food is always really very good. Only complaint was that the special kale salad was very tiny. I was surprised since I have had salads there before and they were a normal serving. Also very cold at the dinner table. It was very very cold outside that night so somewhat understandable but wonder if they could somehow add another curtain inside the door.
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes
I've been to Time on several occasions over the past 5 years. They never disappoint! I rarely leaves reviews, but felt they deserved one. Staff is always friendly and the food is always on point. The menu is very seasonal, so you know the Chef enjoys creating new plates and changing things up. When I go out to eat with my family, we like to try each other's dishes and determine "who won." On Sunday, we all agreed that we all won...something that rarely happens.
Fantastic! Food and drinks were great, ambiance was casual, service was attentive and didn't rush. Live music for dinner which was the right volume to be heard and appreciated but not so you couldn't have a conversation.
We went here Friday night for a late dinner with friends. It is a great place. The live music was excellent and the whole place had a great vibe. Super high marks for the fries and the wings. Everything was delicious, but the fries were crazy Good!
Great music. We love Chris Farrell, Pete Guadioso & Rit Mo!!
Tyler (server) was great.
Short ribs & polenta delicious.
Live jazz duo, but not too loud to prohibit conversation. Bar food menu in addition to main menu. I had the vegetarian shepherds' pie, my husband the bone marrow starter with chimichurri sauce, and short rib main. He liked his food very well. I'd order from the bar menu on next visit I think. I had a cocktail from the happy hour menu, quite lovely l. Service was attentive. I would go again
Our only complaint was it was a little too dark. Difficult to read the menu or see the food when it was served. Lots of tables using their cell phones for light. Otherwise excellent meal.
Small portion too pricy for what food you get. Overall I just go there for live music.
Awesome restaurant! Their marrow appetizer is incredible, their salmon was delicious and perfectly prepared. Great desserts. Service was excellent. And the live jazz music was an unexpected plus. Highly recommend!!!!
Very simple menu but very innovative and good dishes. Very good whisky cellar.
Friend recommended venue. The waiter was slow to acknowledge table. Even slower to bring out food. Surprised when guests at table directly next to mine, who arrived approximately 20 minutes after we were seated was able to complete their entire meal including dessert before we received our last entrée (the dessert). Venue is quaint and deceptively small. Food and service requires improvement. :(
Time was very nice .The service was excellent. Our waiter was Michael and he didn't miss a beat with us. The only issue it was too dark. I had to hold my menu up to the candle to read it. We loved the live band. We especially like the fact that the patrons got to perform with them. I would definitely try it again and recommend Time to a friend. I would just bring a flashlight next time. Oh yeah the food was excellent also. Chef McKenzie did a great job
New fav spot! Excellent atmosphere and food.
My date and I had the five course meal which was divine! I usually don't taste too many dishes outside my comfort zone but I loved EVERYTHING.
Great dinner at Time. Light jazz ensemble was just the right mood and volume for pre-theater dinner with the wife. Food was great (try the bone marrow), as was the service.
The ambiance was great for a date night. Loved the live music!!! Everything was great!!!
My favorite spot in the city! I go several times a month and the food, music, and drinks never disappoint.
Our experience was a good one. Food was excellent and ambiance as well. Great jazz ensemble.
Time was excellent. Food was great and the live jazz was nice. Michael our waiter was nice and helpful. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back!
My husband and I went there with two friends and it was lively with great live music. A little loud at times but good music.
Met friends for drinks; good music; service was almost non-existent given the crowd but not terrible.
We were in the city celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to sit at the bar rather than take a seat in the restaurant. Good decision! Great music, fantastic bartender (thanks Ashley!) and good company made this an amazing night. We've enjoyed Time on several occasions and it's always a great time...er, no pun intended.
GREAT find! Celebrated my husband's bday last nite. Wonderful selection of whiskey. He tried 2 flights..one rye and one bourbon. Nice way to sample different ones. Live 2 piece jazz music. Ordered grilled octopus (great but small portion.) My husband had delicious burger with AMAZING fries. So good we ordered another round of them. Bar menu is reasonably priced. Tyler, our waiter was great. Knowledgable about all the whiskies. Delicious homemade ice cream for dessert. If you like coconut, this was terrific. Overall, a fun place. Reasonably priced, grey food, and huge selection of whiskies. will return!
Great whisky list & food & talented musicians
Our server's name was Zack and he was awesome! He educated me on the various drinks on the menu.
This is my third time attending TIME. I wasn't disappointed at all. The jazz band set was the icing on the cake. Our waitress Will, was great! Very attentive. I feel so fortunate to have found this hidden gem.
The food was ample and tasty! The bone marrow offering was enormous. We were in the seating directly next to the band which impacts my review of Time. It was simply too loud for any conversation at that table once the band began. If it was stated in Opentable that a band and open mic occurs every night, I overlooked it. I wouldn't make it a point to return because of this. However, many patrons at the bar were likely present specifically to enjoy the music and the food was worth the visit.
Time was amazing !! I will definatley go back for a third time.
Not only was the food exquisite and the staff warm and friendly but chef Hilton herself came out and chatted with us and informed us that every night the chef menu changes. If this was an off-the-cuff night then sign me up again! If you want a fantastic experience Time is where you should go!
Specialty menu limits the selections, but the meal I had was great. Enjoyed the cheese board and cocktails. Worth checking out.
