Food was delicious and got to enjoy some live music!
Dinner at Time was outstanding. Service was great. Food excellent. And the jazz trio rocked. Very comfortable dining area. Perfect for our birthday celebration!
We were seated at 6:45 but did not receive service until about 7 pm. Our server was also the bartender, which made for choppy service. While the food here is FANTASTIC, it was WAY overpriced for the portions given. My boyfriend wanted the sweet potato gnocchi entree, which they were out of and offered the Parmesan gnocchi for an upcharge of $7. I feel like that entree was actually an appetizer- 8-10 gnocchis dispersed around a rather large plate.. not very filling. We had also ordered an appetizer and two entrees, and they all came out of order. Between each dish we waited about 20 minutes. So we had an “entree” then our appetizer, then we had to split my entree because my boyfriend was not full from his entree that was an appetizer. Overall, the food was delicious, but I don’t know that I would eat here again due to the service. We did not leave the restaurant until 9 pm. I understand restaurants get busy, but perhaps more servers would have made things better for everyone.
I really enjoyed our Valentine’s Day dinner date here. The food was of decent portions and excellent quality. I also really enjoyed the crate e cocktails and music. I ordered the tea time in Jalisco and was not disappointed. I also had the salmon and really enjoyed it. Would definitely come here again!
Great food and drink. Live music was wonderful. Not a fan of high tops.
Trendy, lively atmosphere. Absolutely fantastic way to spend a night out with friends. Great music and even better food.
Great find for a random pick. Live music, friendly staff and great food. Fried chicken, gnocchi and mussels were all well done!
Very loud and a very limited menu. Everything we had to eat was perfectly cooked and delicious. Great Martini's and other house cocktails. You can hang here for hours if you can deal with the music and noise. Music was great and very appropriate for dinner music.
Yum! Was so pleased as always with the food music and drinks! Great happy hour specials!
Our server wasn't the greatest but everything else was phenomenal!
Restaurant Week menu was awesome!
This place was very well worth the visit just make sure you have your ID to get in because they check at the door even to sit and eat I had the deviled eggs and short ribs which was delicious
I really enjoyed Time! I went with a group of friends for Restaurant Week, so we got to taste several different things. The menu included 5 courses, but all the courses were portioned right so it didn't feel super heavy or overly indulgent at the end of the night. The broccoli and cheddar risotto was great, as was the 48-hour braised short rib.
There was a jazz duo (bass and sax) playing live music which contributed to the great atmosphere, and the service was top notch. Overall, I would recommend this place.
Always great jazz and martinis. Food is very good with a nice variety. Staff is pleasant. Go early if you want a seat at the bar as it does get crowded, or make a reservation for dinner. We do not live in Philadelphia but a few of the bartenders remember us and greet us warmly when we are there ... it's nice to be remembered and acknowledged.
It was my second tone back anabolic it was just as fun and pleasant as my first experience. I came for my birthday celebration and this place is amazing all around. Drinks, food, and ambiance it’s defibetly a vibe and a well hidden gem!
Visiting from Los Angeles , we always stop by for reliable talented jazz musicians and wonderful ambience, not to mention a creative menus.
Catch the live music when you can. Awesome music, good people. Loved Time.
Great I’ll def be back
The food at Time is incredible. I loved the atmosphere. The live music was a plus. The service was good. We will definitely visit again
We had a lovely New Year's Eve dinner at Time. I was running late due to holiday traffic/street closures, and I really appreciated their ability to accommodate us arriving nearly 30 minutes late! The food & service were outstanding, and my two cocktails were fairly priced and delicious. I would definitely return.
Food was okay. We had reservations in the dining room. Music was good. The restaurant was freezing cold.
Picked this place on reviews and proximity to my hotel in city center and I was very pleased. Ambiance was great with good music that wasn’t too loud. Food was amazing - we had bone marrow, short rib and the duck. A little pricey but still highly recommended.
Small but well thought out menu. Our server, Soni, was amazing!
Great food, terrific jazz combo. Made a perfect night .
I enjoy coming out to Time. Ilike the open mic.night. Also enjoy the food. I love love the mussles are the best.
I had indicated on my reservation that this was our anniversary (one year after our first date...also at Time). Our waitress was very friendly, wished us the best, and even gave us our first two drinks on the house. I'm not much of a foody, but it was quality food with a variety of options. We'll definitely be back, and not just because the restaurant is significant to our relationship.
Not what I was looking for but the food and service are amazing. I wish there was no standing a little hard to enjoy dinner and my dinner conversation when you can't hear people at the time and also when other people continue to interrupt. I will be back for the chef tasting.
Excellent place if you like live music and jazz in particular! We were sitting in the main area, where the music is played, and it was very romantic. Service and food were excellent too.
We saw in reviews that lights are dim and you can't see the menu ...that is absolutely true! But the food is excellent ...you can't hardly see it and they don't give you much of it which is a same because it's really good! We had the short ribs & salmon. The live music was great & makes this place a vibrant night spot. We love jazz!!!
Amazing musicians.... and great food
wait staff was excellent! It is too dark, you can't read menu without using table candle. Mocktail was superb. Portions are good but inconsistent as entries. The fried chicken could feed two people while the short ribs were barely enough for one.
The food was fantastic! We could have ordered from the regular menu or the bar menu. With 4 of us, I think we each ordered one thing from both menus. The service was pretty good. It took the waitress a little bit of time to bring us drinks sometimes but it wasn’t overly long and we weren’t in a rush. My only negative comment was the live music was just a little too loud sometimes. We were seated right next to them and sometimes it was hard to hear our friends talk. But they were really good! The loud music wouldn’t stop me from going there again. Definitely recommend!
The atmosphere was good and the live music was wonderful. The food made everyone sick the next day. I'm talking really sick.
I love this place and always enjoy the creative food and delicious seasonal cocktails.
The live music is fabulous!
Custom bourbon tasting...super food..shared a bunch of appetizers...small plates...tasty...great service...Erin was a gem
A hidden gem on a dead-end street! Highly recommend making a reservation which we did. The area where the live band played is mostly standing-room only, table seating is scarce & reserved. The lighting is very dim so most patrons had to use mobile phone lights to read the menu or see their meals. When the band plays, it's almost impossible to have conversation even with someone sitting right next to you. However, the entree was really tasty, good portions, & our server was great even taking the time to answer our questions about the bar history. The chocolate creme brulee was an extremely disappointing The whisky bar room was equally packed on a Saturday night & the upstairs dance floor was occupied with mostly college age kids.
Awesome food, service and the corner booth in the back (by the pictures of philly) is excellent for a date.
The service was good but the menu was very limited. The band and ambiance were worth it.
Awesome atmosphere! We had a round table for two in the corner. There was live music and it was perfect for a dinner with my sister. The food was delicious! I had the salmon and Brussel sprouts. Yum! Service was great. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Would def go back!!
Unfortunately, we never received our dinner since we had to leave for our show. They did not charge us for our drinks or our order but we had to go to the opera hungry. It seems that the forgot to put our appetizers or entrees in in time. We waited 40 minutes before they offered us bread, which was when we asked for the check. Just so you know our appetizers were raw oysters so they at least should have been served promptly
