   I was disappointed with my experience at The Timbers. There is very little choice on the menu, to begin with. And our waitress appeared to be very inexperienced. She did not refill our water until asked, and she did not ask about refilling coffee until we were finished eating. We were completely underwhelmed by the food. My tomato bisque soup was oversalted and lukewarm. My Reuben was half fat and gristle. My husband was not impressed by his sandwich, either. The best thing we had was the appetizer of pretzels! They get five stars! Otherwise, sorry, not worth going.

   Breakfast was very tasty and the waitress did a great job and her name is Angie. Wait time was very short and the atmosphere was just great. I highly recommend eating breakfast here, especially on the weekend.

   We had a very good waitress and her name was Autumn. She was courteous and helpful and checked on her table the right amount of times. My prime rib wasn’t as cooked as I liked it but I requested to have it cooked more and it came back just fine. Everything was very tasty. I would recommend coming back here anytime. The ambience is especially good.

   This is a favorite place of ours, especially for special occasions! We love it for so many reasons, the fireplaces, it's so class, quiet and cozy. We love the bar room you can go for a drink ahead of time and the staff is always so friendly and professional. The food and drinks are also delightful. What we really appreicate the most though is their commitment to sustainability using no plastic and compostable boxes! Thank you!

   I would suggest avoiding the salads-- it seemed that maybe not many people order them because the components were old and they were not particularly good.

   The setting is spectacular and Lodge is a Nebraska gem. The food was very good but service did not match the setting or food quality. Took 15 minutes to get our drink order filled and it was just beer and wine. The french fries were said to be gluten friendly, but came completely breaded so education for the serving staff is needed on what gluten is. Long wait time for the final bill, but the server was very friendly.

   This was the perfect venue for my husband and I to have a relaxing Christmas Eve dinner (the day before an energetic Christmas Day filled with family!). New tradition with our children going to the other sides on Christmas Eve.

   My wife and I were very disappointed in our meal. We had great anticipation for the experience following our fun time at the mansion in a mystery event. However, the food was not up to our expectations or match the cost of our meal. My wife's filet (beef) was over cooked and dry. My rib eye steak was cooked to order but was grissly and and a poor cut. My entre was not hot and both the steak and potato dish were warm at best. I will say our salads were well done and tasted good. The ambiance was very nice and we had a seat by a window which provided a wonderful view. Unfortunately, our waiter was not attentive and forgot our requests multiple times and was slow in responding. He was polite and friendly. Overall, for the cost of this meal I've had much better meals at several other restaurants. I am very hesitant to return and give The Timber a second chance. This was our first meal there. I hope, our experience was not the norm. I'd love to hear from someone about our experience and if we should try it again. We enjoy all other aspects of the Arbor experience. David from Kansas
