Brunch - Saturday and Sunday 11am till 3pm
Tillman’s absolutely exceeded expectations. It was my first visit and I booked a table for 6 to celebrate a good friend’s birthday. We went for Sunday brunch and enjoyed carafes of mimosas and bloody Mary’s. Every one of us enjoyed our meals as well! Even though some of us were picky with our dietary restrictions, everything was great. The restaurant wasn’t overly crowded and the ambience was great! The service was incredible. We were really needy and asked for the fans to be turned off, so the staff went out of their way to do that for us, even balancing on a bar stool. We were given a round of birthday drinks and a celebratory piece of cake for the birthday girl! 10/10 will return.
Tillman's is a solid choice in Dallas and particularly the Bishop Arts District. Great food and reliable service. Love the way the bar is now laid out.
bill was $300.00 for four people
they need to have higher caliber of waiters
the place was empty and we waited extremely long for food and drinks
the food and ambiance was very good, though
Our server was very attentive to us and any details that we otherwise would of missed. We ordered several appetizers and shared so that we can taste a little bit of everything. The jalapeño margarita is amazing! All the apps we tried were great! Definitely recommend. I’ve been for both brunch and dinner and I’m satisfied with both.
We had a small party of 4 and we were delighted with the evening and the meal.
Great atmosphere... good food! Popcorn is super yummy
Waiter was rude. He rolled his eyes at me when I asked for extra butter and wasn’t a good listener. When our orders came back wrong he insisted we didn’t say what we know we said.
Enjoyed a lovely evening from start to finish! Service, food, ambience, overall experience was stellar! Will definitely be back. Appreciate a memorable evening!
The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because we really chose Tillman's for it's private room and we had a miscommunication and didn't get it. However, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was great and the dessert was a hit! Our group loved it and had a great time. Thank you. :-)
Great place for excellent food and service. Brunch or dinner. Fantastic kicked up comfort food and excellent healthy choices
We come here almost every Sunday and really enjoy the food and atmosphere. This time, not so much. It took over one full hour to get our meal, for a table of 3 people. Granted our biscuit appetizer came out straight away, but the extreme delay in the main courses was pretty odd, especially for an after brunch crowd during a much slower time of day.
This was my first time at Tillman’s and it was fantastic! I have no doubt that it will become my go-to brunch spot from now on!
This restaurant needs to remove their Filet from the menu. First of all, the filet is less than 8 oz of meat. Second, the first two were ordered medium and delivered well done and burned on top. The second two steaks delivered came 25 minutes later and were just as burned and not a Filet cut. They were clearly remnants of some other steak and still less than 8 oz. The manager comped the steaks, but then added a 15% gratuity that calculated to be a 22% gratuity. Our party contained 6 people. Very disappointing. The other 4 patrons enjoyed their meal to be fair. Don't have a steak if you can't make it and then deliver it in a timely manner. The Chicken Fried Steak looks like a good buy.
Great menu, excellent food and outstanding service. Noise level was a real issue and dampened the ambiance as a result.
The food was not great. Overall I finally found something I liked but the 2 appetizers we got and the shrimp and grits weren’t very good to me at all. The chicken fried steak was awesome though!
Worst experience we’ve had there. Steak tasted like it was cooked in oil and sat in it for a while. Biscuits were dry. Cauliflower was hardly cooked. We’ve had a very good meal there before. This one was just awful.
We had really great service! Our waiter was beyond observant and helpful. Brought my 3 year old and she loved it. Very comfortable. The biscuits and crab cakes were unbelievable.
Happy hour specials are only in the bar which is literally right by some of the tables. So for large groups that get an early reservation you can’t take advantage of their specials. I think this should be reconsidered since there was literally no one there at 5pm when we got there. Only bad experience of the night
We enjoyed our dinner. The staff was incredible. They took such good care of us during our visit. Food was a little salty. Braised short ribs were our favorite
Service was great. Food was great. Drinks were great. Everything about this experience was great. Will recommend.
Great food and great customer service by Edgar and the hostess.
Thank you for making our special occasion very memorable.
It was okay. Food is yummy. Drinks took forever first drink forever like 10 minutes but very tasty . Second drink forever 15 minutes stuffed so full of ice it was spilling all on floor . Beverage exact as first tasted yucky weak . Packed and we stared out over the expo window. Pretty boring look .
We had a great time. Food was awesome and our friends visiting really enjoyed the atmosphere.
My husband and I have been coming for special occasions for about 8 years. Over the last 2 years the ownership has changed and it was our first time visiting since the new owners. The menu options are still similar, but it has changed a lot. If you have never been before it is great. However we went expecting the same food, atmosphere and service and it just was a miss for us. It just lost the specialness it had before. The general manager is fantastic and picked up where our server was missing out.
It's been many years since I first tried Tillman's and the first time we were not impressed. (Paid way too much for an IHOP quality steak many years ago.) We decided to give it another try so we went back for DFW restaurant week. This go around the food was much better, but the service was pretty slow. It took about two hours for a salad, meal and dessert. I will say the steak is much improved and the wine was excellent!
Food is excellent, good choices, well prepared.
Blood orange margarita was good. Scallops were very good and so was the short ribs. The pecan crushed okra was very good.
The food, the place, the ambiance were great! I’m not sure if this is how it works there or if they were short handed or if our waitress was just not as attentive as she should have been but I felt like the host/manager was more attentive to our table then our waitress, but again I’m not sure if that is just the way it works at this place or not. The food was excellent! I had seared scallops over risotto, the only complaint I had was I wish there had been more risotto! It was so good but I was still hungry after eating it!!
Staff was excellent and food was amazing!
The fried okra was fresh and very well prepared. The chicken fried steak was awesome. Good quality mean and well prepared. Would order it again.
This was my second time dining at Tillman's. The first time for brunch was an excellent experience - this time was not. My food was way overly salted to the point I just couldn't eat it - I had to wait along time for a drink and the restaurant only had a few tables full at the time. It was a business dinner and I made the wrong choice - too loud to even hear each other talk. Waitress was very nice though!
They were out of 3 items on the menu that we wanted to eat in July 16, 2018.
Horrible. Never going back.
Porkchops were awesome. Place is full of old pictures of Dallas, with a very updated decor. The girlfriend and I sat at a bench seat, which included a cushioned side with pillows. Behind is was a very well lit bar, that had a comfortable feel. I was able to steal a bite of the girlfriends beer can chicken, and it wasn't bad. I opted to go with the girlfriends choice for dessert, which was the s'more setup. Very cool setup.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.
I have recently broken my ankle and mobility is an issue for me. When I made the reservation on OpenTable for Tillman's, I left a note that I am on crutches and needed a table where I could prop my leg up. Let me tell you....they went above and beyond! When I arrived and was walking in, the hostess saw me and came outside to help me in. She called me by name, said she had been expecting me and took me directly to the perfect table. She helped set my crutches to the side and just really made me feel cared for while I waited for my husband to arrive from parking the car. The service was great and cocktails and meal was delicious. But I just really want to share that the folks at Tillman's care about their patrons and go above and beyond. So thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Consistently delicious food. Very well managed.
It was overpriced for what it was, but my table played our plates fairly safe. I'm confident if we reached a little further, the experience would have been worth it. It is loud, but the ambience is incredible.
