It was nice, but not very exceptional. The calamari appetizer was outstanding.
Food is really good and a value for the price too. Atmosphere nice and quiet. Service was a bit slow but I will definitely return
The service was outstanding as well as the food. We were given our choice of seats and were given amazing attention. On top of everything we were treated to champagne and desert. Great experience
Wonderful meal and great service! Deviled eggs as an appetizer were yummy. Love the patio with the fireplace off to the side to enjoy cocktails. Good ambiance.
Nothing special. Had to keep asking for water refills because they have super small cups.
The waitress was polite but unprofessional. The food was disappointing. We won't be back.
I was looking for a farm-to-table restaurant to take my Mother-in-Law to when she came out for a weekend visit and picked this location based on the Open Table reviews. I didn't realize that it was inside the Marriott Hotel however the food was flavorful and it wasn't busy so it allowed us to have a nice quiet meal together. I ordered the filet and when it came out well done rather than medium the staff was more than willing to correct the error and even comped me for my meal. The chef herself brought out the new steak and apologized. I was genuinely surprised and pleased by the level of service.
Food was very good. Service was fine however EVERY time they brought a course to the table they would leave the dishes from the previous course. Our table looked like a sink full of dirty dishes at one point. After the main course I simply asked him to take dishes away when the table got cluttered. We ordered a ton of food and a couple drinks (which were very weak and expensive- which I don't mind paying for but they were watery!). Desserts were delicious.
The staff was the most amazing group I’ve seen in ages when it came to restaurant service and customer care experience! 🏆🏆Chris the Manager was absolutely professional, beautifully groomed, HUMBLE yet Conversations with him were gracious. 🥇🥇You could see that these character qualities spilled over onto the entire staff. 🏅🏅Our meals were beautifully presented, perfect in temperature and delicious.✨
I’d recommend Tiller’s Kitchen and Bar to anyone looking for a semi-casual, upscale, CLEAN cozy atmosphere with excellent food and seamless service.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Nice casual dinner. It is inside a suburban Marriott but the restaurant is very nicely appointed. It didn’t feel like being in the hotel.
We had the salmon and pork shank — both were very good. Service was attentive and professional.
They told us the last Friday of the month they do a pig roast on the patio. We will go back for that!
A nice addition to Westminster which is a bit of a desert if you want something more than a chain restaurant.
We had a great birthday lunch celebration sitting out on the patio
Normally the food is excellent so I attended their Mothers Day Brunch. 4 of us got a table at 3:30 pm as I was assured they served until 5 pm that day. Well the food was cold or looked like it had been sitting around for hours, the staff all left for about 30 minutes so our dirty dishes sat on our table for, you guessed it, 30 minutes (no water or drink replenishment's) and the stations all packed up prior to the staff leaving! I am assuming that was when they fed the staff... I would not recommend Tillers for a special brunch as this was unacceptable, not to mention I was charged $50.00 per person. NOT worth it!
We came for lunch not realizing it would only be the Mother’s Day brunch available. We didn’t know there was even a brunch buffet when we made the reservation... duh! It was Mother’s Day. But a bit unprepared for $50/pp and a full luxurious spread... it was all very good and ended up working out.
We would like to come back and try the regular menu and atmosphere some day soon.
Service was friendly and good even tho it was a mad house.
When we arrived for brunch on Mother's Day we were informed that reservations from Open Table were supposed to be disabled for the previous 24 hours, so our reservation was not valid. They made the effort to accommodate us at a high top table and quickly point out the various food stations. Our son has autism and developmental delay, and tends to behave and eat like a 10-yr old, so we always order from the children's menu, which we have done at Tillers before. The first person we asked said that there was no children's option for brunch. My husband asked another server the price for brunch and she responded that all of the tables were reserved, and asked a couple of times if we had a reservation. After we assured her that we already had a table she let us know that brunch would be $50/person, $25 for something like 7-12, and free under that, with the implication that we wouldn't be able to do the child option. My son is 24, looks 16, and barely eats kid portions, or nothing at all, so the adult price was not a good option for us. We've never had a restaurant disallow that before. Then a customer was rude to me for not deferring to him in the walkway, so we just walked out. It seemed disorganized with poor service.
By then it was too late to get reservations anywhere else. We live quite close to Tillers and used to enjoy this restaurant.
Extremely over priced
The salads were good. Next time we'll stick with wine instead of the specialty cocktails. The server was friendly and attentive.
My wife had dinner and drinks. Pleasant meal and good food. We like Tillers and plan to return again.
Food was delicious and our waitress was very friendly. We were there for lunch, I will definitely go back!
We went to Tiller's for Easter brunch at $50.00 per person. I have never me a buffet I thought was worth $50.00 person but that is the ONLY negative regarding this place! The food was wonderful (we will be going back to check it out for dinner); the variety of foods was stunning; the service was beyond reproach, and the decor is pleasant. I wonder if they have a Happy Hour....
Great food & service and decor. However didn't accept Open table rewards. But we're good to take 15% off....
Service is very bad, no one knows where
Great food! Very nice place to go on a date
We're excited to have an upscale place to eat in our neighborhood!
I was very unhappy with the experience. Dinner took almost an hour to come to our table. We went for Valentine’s Day dinner. They had a special for the holiday that included dinner for two and a bottle of wine. When we got there, the server said they would not honor the special. The menu also only had two items on it which was very disappointing as we went to the restaurant wanting food off the normal menu. Dinner taking so long and the poor service really ruined a special date night.
I have called the restaurant to speak to the manager about the experience and have yet to get a call back; it’s been 4 days since I called!
Service was poor, food was mediocre.
Overall ok. Food was above average. Service was attentive but a couple suggestions. Three course fixed meal. Waitress asked for dessert order when taking app and main course. Makes me feel rushed. And If change due is $19.77, give that or $20, not $19! Presumptuous! And a $2 "up" charge for a martini up? Really?
Our experience was ok. We did not need a reservation on a Sunday. Staff was confused about doing brunch on Sunday at 11am. Took awhile to get menus and food. Staff was pleasant. Great that is was not busy but not sure it was good enough to hurry back.
Nice sort of pricey for what you get.
We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel restaurant! We live about 3 minutes from here, and never thought to go to the Marriott for dinner - but it was great! Very quiet, lots of open tables on a Saturday night (a rarity around here), and the food was excellent for us foodies. So glad to have found this in our back yard! We'll be back again.
Nice restaurant aesthetically. Burger was typical of most restaurants. Ordered vegetables as my side and was surprised by the amount of pepper. Highly recommend using a different brie for your cheese plate. It was extremely salty and have never known brie to taste that way. Just FYI....it was a little off-putting to watch the server mash up some type of cracker/bread (went with the cheese plate) at the counter, drop it onto the bottom ledge and then scoop it up to serve it to us. Location was great due to where we were staying however there were many restaurants close by.
Bar tender was great but the food took forever and we were the only customers there. Food was good but pricey.
The ambiance was wonderful and the food was delicious!! I will definitely be going back to this gem!
We were fortunate to land here on New Year's Eve after a shortened ski trip. Our family ordered a variety of menu items, and the food was beautifully prepared and tasty.
Not at all impressed. Way over priced for average food. Would have had a better breakfast at Perkins or Village Inn.
Although the food was okay, the service was the most disappointing I’ve encountered for a long time. We had reservations made several weeks earlier and confirmed the day before. When we arrived the person had trouble finding the reservation, but did finally. After being seated it was several minutes before we were even acknowledged. We ordered three dinners, a cheese plate and a side of risotto. In about five minutes the side order was brought to the table, with a comment that the rest of the food be there soon. Twenty five minutes later the rest of the food came out. It was a disappointing Christmas Eve dinner.
The service was terrible. We had to get water from the bar. The $30+ steak was almost cold but we waited so long to get it we didn't send it back. I was so tired of waiting for the server to take my payment I took it to the bar. We were there two hours. The manager gave us a discount but I felt she could have done more since we brought in a $75 gift certificate and still had to pay. Nice atmosphere and the evening had the potential to be memorable except for the service.
We had family in town for Thanksgiving. After picking them up at the airport, traffic was terrible, and everyone was quite hungry. We decided to try someplace new, a restaurant recommended by neighbors. Tillers it was! The restaurant was attractive, the staff friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend Tillers!
Great place for a lunch biz meeting! Might even go again!
This restaurant is INSIDE the Marriott Hotel and was DEAD on a busy Saturday night at dinner hour. We had Buffalo Burger and fries. The food was good but the service was slow and there were only a couple of lonely travelers in there eating. Kind of a sad environment. It would probably be busier on weekdays. The prices were a little high.
I really enjoyed the ambience and the food! Great drinks!
