The food was great. Service was great. We had the halibut and chicken and both were better than what the description provided. The pasta appetizer was amazing.

Hostess was in a bad mood and kept pushing one of the girls to get by. She was also not happy to comply with our dietary restrictions which were nothing with pork. Ordered baked eggs without pancetta and they brought them with pancetta and told us there is none in it. When I checked before eating (and I had to because of their attitude, good thing I did) , there was pancetta 😱. The staff was less than apologetic and maintained their attitude of not being happy to serve our party.

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Sandwiches were delish and onion soup amazing. Coffee was very good and service was excellent. Parking was tricky but of course that’s standard for Seattle!

Drove up from Portland to meet my son who was in Seattle on business. I had been there once before on someone's recommendation and like it a lot. So - just like then, had a wonderful dinner. We shared a fresh, lovely asparagus salad, in season and quite tasty. Portion was large enough for sharing. My halibut and my son's chicken entree (a dish that Tillicum has been noted for over 10 years. We shared profiteroles for dessert. I'll definitely go back when I travel to Seattle.

Make a reservation if you want to have brunch here!!! We tried to walk in on a Sunday but the wait was >1 hour, so we came back on a quiet Tuesday around noon (made a reservation for noon). The savory Dutch Baby was delicious, especially when we drizzled the back half of an over easy egg over it. Also ordered the pear tart and the IPA (highly recommend). Service was very prompt and friendly. Tilikum is an adorable brunch/lunch place in Seattle, and we're thinking of coming back to try the cheese menu!

Tilikum Place is a very successful French bistro: relatively simple dishes, excellently prepared. Our mushroom soup was a grainy bisque with compelling mushroom flavor. The salads were simply dressed greens with a clean light flavor. The tart was excellent and the baked beans on toast were somewhat unusual, not too sweet or BBQ-flavored, but more like beans from a flavorful cassoulet -- very filling and quite good.
The thoughtful, attentive service made the experience special.

Continue to love this place but it’s so hard to get a reservation on the weekends! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. I would have liked the service during this experience to be a little speedier and more attentive but it was a full room. This continues to be a favorite for brunch and I was delighted with their specials.

My favorite Brunch restaurant and where I meet my daughters for something special. Have tried most things on the menu over the times we have eaten at Tilikum, never disappointed in anything and heard at the table - "this is amazing." Worth the wait!

Difficult to get reservation for brunch. We lucked out because of a cancellation. Baked eggs was good but eggs were over cooked. I’m not sure if achievable to have eggs soft/runny when baked in cast iron pan. Warm bread and jam was good. Savory Dutch Babies was excellent. The Classic Dutch Babies was just a bit too custard like for my husband taste. French press coffee was good and having small cookie for each mug was a nice touch.
Service was excellent. We did enjoy the brunch so we were happy to finally get a reservation to try it.

This was my first time in recent years and it was an early dinner event ,pre theatre during the week, so I can't comment on other days or times of day. We very much enjoyed the wonderful food, professional and attentive service, and calm under pressure (they experienced a broken window while we were there). It is small, with limited seating, especially for large parties, so reservations are recommended. We're anxious to try their brunch.

Only complaint is the bread! I had a large salad and paid extra for bread. That's quite normal these days and I don't mind. The bread I was given was white, fluffy, tasteless, not the beautiful, tasty crusty baguette available all over the Seattle. It was far below the standards of the food of the restaurant, and disappointing considering what is normal in grocery stores in our city. I will remember in the future to not order a salad.

When you open the door and walk in it smells delicious! It's casual, warm and friendly. Kind of like going into a corner restaurant in Paris! The food is delicious and the service really good. We let them know that we had to leave and get to the theatre and they were right on top and kept track of the time. There are some interesting choices from starters, soups to mains and desert. Check out the menu and give it a try. We'll definitely be back! Thank you.

Tilikum Place Café is always excellent. Period. We have been dining there for years and have never had a sub par experience or food. I selfishly hate to leave an honest review because it has become impossible to get a short notice reservation. The word is out and people in Seattle know how wonderful this place is.

The food was excellent! We'd planned on dinner but started with a round of appetizer for the table which were substantial enough that we ordered soups or salads for our second course. Terrific cocktails, too. While this was our first visit I will definitely be back.

Seemed like the other servers were speedy with their tables, but ours was probably the highlight of what went wrong. The only time our server looked our direction was to check out a customer. After 10 minutes, I caught his eye and he came over to serve us. He recommended the specials of the day: the pavé and the oyster clam chowder, each $16. Our main two concerns were whether it tasted good and whether they were filling. Our server ensured with great enthusiasm that both of these would be true, so my friends ordered those dishes. I ordered the Classic Dutch baby.

The food looked amazing; the presentation was excellent. However, the food was nothing special. Maybe I have not tried a bad Dutch baby to know that this was good, but it was definitely not satisfying. The pavé and oyster clam chowder were fairly decent in taste (again, nothing special) but pretty small. Our server came by asking how the food was, and between me shrugging and my friends' half-smiles, he was able to disregard that and muster up an "Oh, I KNOW it tastes great!" My friends were deciding where to get food next as we were paying because they were still hungry (keep in mind we are women in our early 20s with regular appetites).

Overall, this place did not live up to its hype as one of the best brunch places in Seattle. As native San Franciscans who frequently brunch, we believe there are many other places in Seattle that are more worth your money.

Outstanding and do NOT miss
As a critical New Yorker I LOVED our entire experience so much we chose to return for brunch the next day. The food is wholesome with a twist. The boar meatballs were so light and over a vegetable “pasta” you didn’t walk out full. Our dinner Denise server scanned the room constantly and was outstanding. The next day lunch did not disappoint. The place really lives up to its rating!

This restaurant is our favorite. Wonderful food, small but excellent wine list, and friendly and capable staff. My spouse had Kale Crepes with beets, and the dish was really delicious. I had pork meatballs on carrot and heart of celery “pasta”, also marvelous. I fairly small bistro, the room is comfortable and unpretentious. It is always a special treat to eat at Tilikum Place.
