Tilikum Place Cafe
Once again, great food and great service!! This place is so consistent. You can always expect a fantastic experience. Chef is so creative in her use of fresh local ingredients. We always find something new and delicious every time. Highly recommended!!
The food is fabulous.
Pleasantly surprised by the quality and unique flavors in our dishes. Ordered multiple appetizers (hand cut pasta and fig & goat cheese tart), all were very good. Also had the stone fruit (heirloom tomatoes)
Wife's vegan main course was a little one note for me, but, she enjoyed the smoked eggplant soufflé. I very much enjoyed the Pan Seared Chicken. Seems to be a favorite. I saw a lot of chicken dishes being served. Did the sautéed greens - ok.
We shared their home made ice cream (honey-nut) good but sweet. Did well with the French press coffee.
Will come again soon.
Great food, good portions, friendly staff.
Within walking distance of Seattle Center, we took a break from sight seeing and had a wonderful brunch. Unfortunately, not open for breakfast during the weekdays.
Food arrived cold and cold Eggs Benedict are pretty darn gross. The coffee saucer was dirty. Service was inattentive and aloof. Coffee was tasty though, as was the sweet Dutch baby. I've been here before and sometimes it's been great, other times really disappointing. Unfortunately this time, when it was not too good, was my birthday brunch.
Great service and appreciated never feeling rushed although we took our time with dinner. Most of the food was great. Halibut in particular was super tasty, but don't skip trying the pate - some of the best I've had locally. King oyster mushrooms and bavette steak was the one so-so thing we ordered. Both parts were tough and chewy. Overall though, a really nice evening and worth return trips.
Our favorite restaurant in Seattle!
This place came highly recommend and didn’t disappoint. I will come back every time I’m in Seattle.
I took my visiting sisters and brother and they were all impressed. Nice variety of dishes suited everyone’s taste from vegan to Ketogenic. Everything was delicious!
We went for brunch. Good food, however it felt as though they were trying to get us out asap. They kept trying to take away our plates which still had food on them.
I traveled from Texas to come back to this place for the amazing chicken. Love the location and the service was exceptional/
Weekend brunch items (such as eggs benedict) not available for weekday. I was very disappointed...............
We enjoyed our brunch at Tilikum Cafe. Their coffee and tea service had that extra touch to take it one step above ordinary (a small cookie served on your tea spoon for example). Our waitress was a great blend of knowledgable and arriving to take orders or clear plates at just the right time. We especially enjoyed the Dutch baby which seems to be a speciality there, and the seasoned ketchup added a fun twist on your classic brunch fare. We'll definitely be back!
An amazing breakfast, so delicious and overall just high quality.
Great service and food as usual. Accommodated specific table request.
Delicious food and great service! We really enjoyed our evening out.
Tillikum cafe is a wonderful brunch place with lovely staff and is wallet friendly as far as trendy brunch goes. We got the Eggs Benedict (delicious and filling), savory dutch baby (favorite thing we have gotten), and the baked eggs (!!!). It is incredibly filling even though we were doubtful when we first saw the cast irons come out.
Although the servers are wonderful and we booked in advance we still had an hour wait time for food after we were seated. The food was definitely worth it but the time is worth considering when deciding where to go out.
This place alone is worth a trip to Seattle. Try their pan seared chicken. It’s heaven!
Another fabulous dinner to TPC. We always start with the Baked Oysters and they were terrific as always. Then the Halibut special and the classic Chicken...both were delish!
Our server April was charming and friendly making for yet another excellent experience.
Our go to place in the neighborhood when we need a bit of quiet, a glass of wine, or two, and a well-prepared meal. Sometimes nothing more than onion soup and a fresh salad, perhaps a bit of fresh fish, or chicken to die for. We are never disappointed
My favorite restaurant in my neighborhood. I go there every chance I get.
Really great food, like coming here since service is pretty fast and attentive enough (without being bothersome). Had the Benedict and biscuits with gravy today, the savory Dutch baby before. I love Smith tea so it's always nice to get tea - but their coffee is great, too. Will say that last time they forgot my bread and this time charged an extra coffee so I keep an eye out for mistakes in the bill!
Excellent food and service.
Highly recommended for dinner.
The always-impressive Ba Culbert just keeps doing it! Nearly 10 (TEN!!) years in TPC and the inventive flavors never get old. Her staff love her because she is so creative and so kind. Her patrons (like me) adore her for similar reasons. I had a special guest for this mid-week meal: my 21 y/o nephew who last tasted Ba's cooking when she made dinner for him and his twin sister at The Ruins when they were 4 years old. He was quite delighted to taste her food again on his return to Seattle. I hope other patrons are making their own memories in Ba's kitchen!
This was our first visit to Seattle and we loved Tilicum! The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate my gluten intolerance! Nice ambience and friendly staff.
Favorite breakfast in Seattle so far. Deliciously balanced flavors and ingredients.
I love this restaurant!
Found this place on our 4th day. Have eaten here 3 times since it is awesome. Halibut salad was wonderful. Coffee Ole was worth a trip by itself. Desert baby was to die for. Try it, you will love it, oh, make reservations walk in is tough
Great food, hidden gem near the Space Needle
Service spectacular. Food fresh and flavorful. Yummy.
I love this place.
Made a reservation for 7pm got there earlier and were seated immediately food was awesome! Some of the best we’ve ever had and we travel a lot. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great dinning experience
Great atmosphere Knowledgeable waiters Small menu but perfectly cooked
Always enjoy going to the Tilikum Place Café. We had reservations, which are always needed because of limited seating. We were seated right away and our waitress was great. We had a variety of the breakfasts, to include the TPC breakfast and eggs benedict. The eggs benedict were a little overcooked, and we didn't even have to say anything, because the waitress said the cook was remaking them, which we received.
The Dutch babies are always a favorite. They were out of the one with strawberries, but the blueberry one was great also. Also had cappuccinos for our day of exploring Pike Place Market.
Tilikum Place Cafe is our favorite restaurant for special occasions.
The food preparation, quality and freshness, professional service from the greeting to the complete service experience CANNOT BE BEAT! Seattle truly has a gem in Tilikum Place Cafe! For a fabulous end to the meal, try the Espresso Martini...it will send you home hopping with a smile:)
We went to try the Dutch Baby, which was excellent, but the rest of the breakfast menu was excellent, too. Seasonal, fresh, (but still indulgent) with really good coffee and a comfortable atmosphere... a perfect brunch and well worth a stop as a tourist. I’m so glad I made reservations
Tilikum Cafe is a welcoming spot. Great ambiance. The food is interesting and tasty. It is often busy so reservations are recommended. A great spot for any meal!
