Tilikum Place Cafe
only been there 3 times, Bruch and 2 dinners WELL worth it. Make a reservation though, very popular place
What a wonderful blessing to have Tilicum Place in Seattle! Never ceases to amaze. Our wait staff recommended the savory Dutch Baby. The onionsoup and fish sandwich were delectable.
Just a beautiful little restaurant with lovely people and food!
A great place for dinner or brunch! A local neigborhood gem! Anytime I can get a reservation I go!
Wonderful food, warm service, comfortable setting. Our favorite restaurant.
Everything was great ! My husband and I had the pasta appetizer, satsuma salad, French onion soup , & lamb chops.
Good food. However it took 2 weeks to get a reservation for a Saturday morning.
Always enjoy everything about TPC.
Good food and a great little spot! Have eaten here a couple of times and have enjoyed it thoroughly.
What a delightful experience! Fantastic food. Scallops, short ribs and pasta were outstanding. Service was attentive, non intrusive and friendly. The fact that we could have a conversation without having to talk over loud music or a large noisy group was definitely appreciated... hard to find this combination in today’s over the top culture. Thank you for a lovely evening!
We’ve dined at Tilikum many times and had a few Wow experiences. Unfortunately this time was for my wife’s birthday and were disappointed by the new menu. The choices were confined and the taste, texture, and presentation were poor. When we were asked if we wanted boxes because our meals were only tasted, there was a unified no. We decided to get dessert elsewhere since it was her birthday and we wanted something to be right for our celebration.
3rd time eating there and definitely would go back. I’ve tried something new every time and the food is exquisite from how it’s plated to the flavors. Service was really great too!
Always nice ambience, fantastic food and feel like family service.
Always a pleasure to return to Tilikum Place Cafe. Very friendly service, great atmosphere, and the food is simply yummy. Fresh ingredients and well thought out dishes full of flavor that make dinner a delight.
Food was great, staffs are very kind. Also, the price was very reasonable compared to other cafes in the neighborhood. Lovely and cozy place.
Visited Seattle for the first time and went straight to Tilikum Place Cafe from the airport. There wasn’t any wait since we had a reservation booked, but there was already a line even before the restaurant opened.
We ordered the Classic and Savory Dutch babies along with roasted potatoes on the side. Also had bread (get this!!) to start while waiting for the Dutch babies.
The classic Dutch baby was a little underwhelming as I expecting it to be fluffier in the middle, but the tart, lemony custard made up for that. The savory Dutch baby is a must try - bacon an broccoli pair really well with the cheese topping. Skip the potatoes, they’re not that great.
Service however was really slow, despite 3 servers working the rather small space. Took us 15 minutes after being seated till we could flag our server down for water. Made for a rather unpleasant first impression.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle! The menu changes based on what’s in season, the wine list has a good variety, and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. Never disappointed!
We had to wait a long time for our coffee and then wait even more for the food. Food was okay, nothing special. Atmosphere was very average. Nothing was great enough to come back for.
Amazing experience - must try the Dutch baby
Delicious food (Dutch baby and French toast) and coffee. You can enjoy the view too. you can see space Needle outside the window.
I mistakenly made a reservation for the night after I had intended to. Fortunately it was early in the evening, they did have a table free and were able to seat us, very graciously. The staff were very attentive and the food superb, inventive, and beautiful. Would love to go back next time we are in Seattle.
Absolutely love this restaurant! We’ve been going for years, and it remains one of our favorites.
Food was mediocre and expensive, but setvice and ambiance were great
Such a delightful experience. Located in a lovely tree shaded square just off Seattle Center, Tilikum Place Cafe is cozy, charming and authentic with a vintage vibe. Softly lit, it offers a truly special dining experience. The cuisine is painstakingly well prepared, flavorful and beautifully presented, and the service is most friendly and capable. For both daily dining and special occasions.
Great service and great food, we really enjoyed our dinner
Went for breakfast when it opened at 11am on a Tuesday. Only a few tables filled by the window. Service was nice and prompt. Good view of the space needle.
We always enjoy eating at Tilikum. Great food and service.
Everything was great, except I still had food that I was going to eat when they cleared my plate. I just couldn’t stop eating! Great place for classic American brunch.
Outstanding as usual. Thanks for the special care. Excellent food.
Perfect place to bring a close friend before the symphony!
Perfect place to bring your spouse for a special evening out!
The service and the food are amazing. I’ve been here several times. Every other time, I’ve sat at a table right next to the window. My dining companion and I were able to carry on intimate conversation throughout our entire meal. This time, we were at a table in the middle, very close to both tables on either side. While the people at either table were lovely—we could hear both parties so well that it was hard to have our own conversations. In the future, I’ll be asking for a window seat—because it’s to much better.
Great cost to menu for food. Drinks very expensive. I had one glass of Jamison neat and it was same price as my meal. Would be great atmosphere for a first date.
2nd trip to Seattle, Lake Union and 2nd trip to Tilikum Place for a Savory Dutch Baby & pressed coffee for breakfast. EXCELLENT, do make a reservation and allow 20 minuets for your Dutch Baby, so worth the wait!!!
Great pork loin chop and creative salads. The baked oysters are a “must order” , even if you aren’t an oyster lover.
Hidden gem. One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. Amazing food, casual but perfect service.
Tillikum Place Cafe is my favorite restaurant anywhere. The food, service, ambiance is always fabulous!
Get the s’mores dessert - trust me, just go for it.
Cozy spot for a rainy Seattle night. To these New Yorkers, the place had a definite Brooklyn vibe. The food was uniformly good. We particularly liked the profiteroles for dessert. Only downer was a strangely brusque server.
This restaurant ticks all the boxes. Great food, great atmosphere, fantastic service, excellent wine and a lovely view. I particularly enjoyed the pork chop and sticky apple and date pudding.
This is a go to place for me. The food is always fresh. Everything I eat is awesome. I am a eggs and salad kind of a girl. I love the baked eggs, chop salad, and onion soup. I am gf so I dont get to try everything, but it all looks so good I wish I could try it all.
