Tilikum Place Cafe
Still a hidden gem in Seattle. Great food, great value, nice wine list. I normally don’t go for cooked oysters but the miso baked oysters at Tilikum Place are to die for
The service was the weakest part of our experience - the server was close to being rude. The sardine sandwich was very disappointing - two sardine halves with the olive spread and greens on two huge, thick toasted pieces of bread. The tables are way too close together. No thanks.
Great food and choices, great atmosphere. Service was a bit slow, but overall a great place to try.
Once again treated to an excellent meal with superior service! Their pasta appetizer is absolutely the best! This visit we loved the deep fried artichokes and their steak dish with blue cheese potato cakes, onion rings and horseradish mayonnaise was superb! A wonderful dining experience for our anniversary!
Always the best
Lovely food! Every bite was surprisingly good. I went in without expectations and the first bite is what blew my mind and it never disappointed after that. I only wish they had more vegetarian options but what they have was amazing by themselves.
It was just okay. The food was nothing special. The service was okay, nothing exceptional.
I had a great mother’s day brunch with my family. The house special pancakes are delicious!
Loving service compliments fresh and fabulously prepared food. One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle. We always bring our of town guests here, Never disappoints!
We really enjoyed our entire experience at the Tilikum Place Cafe. Server was great, the place is off of a not so busy street with Denny and the Monorail to look at out the window down the road a little bit so it's relatively peaceful. High ceilings make the smaller dining area not feel very cramped. I think it's usually a good sign when the menu is simple. I had the steak, she had the halibut. Though everything about the two dishes was different, I could bounce back and forth between them and still enjoy how fantastic they both were. We will definitely return.
Wow! Never disappoints. Superb friendly service. Scrumptious food. Creative specials, top of line ingredients.
Cute little cafe in north Belltown. I think the Dutch Babies are their specialty but I always get the Chicken Salad. Its basically a nicoise, and it is deliciously perfect. Oddly, it's $2 extra for greens and that gets you about three leaves of romaine, but it's totally worth it. I did get the sardine sandwich once, but did not care for it (picky about my sardines). Make a reservation because the place fills up quickly. It's a bright little place with low-key wait staff. I ranked it as moderate noise level because lots of hard surfaces but it is not unbearable (and I am noise sensitive). I have only ever been there for lunch but the bar looks really cute.
This is a great little local gem. You will not be disappointed.
Attentive and friendly service with exceptional food!
Dined for breakfast. The menu is not very large but wow did the food impress! The presentation and taste were fantastic. We thought it would be one of our least favs of our trip to Seattle and it ended up one of our favs. It was very busy, so reservations are recommended.
Nice place. Menu is not too long but done very well! Appetizer portions are generous and the food is excellent! Tasty and executed to perfection. Reasonable but decent wines. Again not too many but what they have are decent. Nice place!
The food and ambiance were excellent but the service was spotty. Nonetheless, the dutch babies were delicious and i would come back again.
The food was delicious. We stuck to the small plates but did try the trout which was divine. The lemon posset was dessert was so refreshing!
We literally reserved our next table before we left. The Dutch babies are amazing. French onion soup was deeeelish!
Fantastic service, excellent meals all around. Quiet enough for good conversation. What’s not to love!!!
A cozy place with great food. We had Dutch babies, quiche, brodo and baked eggs. Everything was amazing. Would return to try other dishes.
The food is delicious . The menu is creative. The service was especially good—attentive and informed without being overbearing; two servers delivered each course simultaneously for our table of four. This was our first visit after dark (third overall), and the only negative was the glare of headlights from vehicles on southbound Fifth Avenue. A shade on the windows would cure this. But we’ll be back. It’s one of our favorite restaurants.
This place never disappoints! The food is amazing the staff are friendly - what a great place to eat!
Great food and friendly service. We waited a bit to be seated even though we a reservation, but other than that service was good.
Tilikum Place was, as it always is, delightful. The food is fresh and tasty, and the staff/service is warm, friendly, and professional all at once. We had visitors from out of town and Tilikum Place always showcases Seattle dining in a great light.
Enjoyable work lunch with a client. Everything was great!
Delicious food, great service, delightful atmosphere. Will be back!
We have been wanting to eat at Tilikum place for a few years but never Found time. We went for Easter and It was not disappointing! I definitely recommend the Dutch babies, they’re so tasty
One of the best meals I have ever eaten! From baked oysters to seafood special, ribeye and the crumble for desert....simply amazing! And a full house too on a Tuesday night! Service was top notch.
Excellent, as always.
Love how cozy and welcoming this place is. Had a reservation mix-up, which they handled with ease and humor. The server's advice was good--that wilted peavine salad was perfect, and the dark lager and white Bordeaux we ordered were outstanding. Will come again next time I'm in Seattle.
Fantastic meal and perfect service! This place never disappoints!
TPC is an absolute gem! The food, the staff, everything about it is terrific.
Always great food. Small selection but everything is divine!
The soups were amazing! The salad and sandwiches were a little disappointing - perhaps because they were a bit over-hyped by the waitress. Don't get me wrong, they were fine. But in comparison to the soups and the dessert they weren't as nice. The Dutch Baby was so good, definitely a 'must order' item when you go here. Overall very happy with our lunch and would go back again :)
We had Dutch baby, both the lemon and broccoli were very good. Coffee was good too
Very eclectic food — tasty!
This place has been on our radar for a while. I had a great time and the Dutch baby was awesome. Glad this place did not disappoint.
The innovative menu and serious attention to proper cocktails make this place a favorite destination for a broad number of regulars.
The food was very good and we had fabulous service. Our waitress recommended a couple of things and she was very helpful. The location is nice and we had a table by the window which gave us a view of the area. I would recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely outstanding meal!!! From appetizers to dessert! Waitress was wonderful too.
Will come back soon!
