Tilikum Place Cafe
Loved the wine list and the French Onion Soup was divine. all of it was delicious. So full I didn't get dessert, next time for sure.
This is one of the restaurants that never disappoints. The baked oysters are amazing and I never eat baked oysters. Must try
Get here early. Amazing selection of fantasticly made dishes. This place is finna woke.
AMAZING! Right down to the chocolate sauce for the profiteroles. Thank you, THANK YOU, Thank you!
Tilikum Place Cafe is a gem. We've been going there for years and always enjoy their tried and true dishes, like the roast chicken (seriously the best in the city), along with their daily specials. Ba and her crew are so warm and inviting...it almost feels like you're eating in someone's home (in a good way). Love this restaurant, chef/owner, and crew!
Been a few years so was very pleasantly surprised; food quality was outstanding. Service accommodated multiple reservation changes gracefully. Great value and ambiance- we’ll be back.
This place is fantastic. Definitely get a reservation, and far in advance!! We had the sweet dutch baby and the baked eggs. Both were fabulous! Would very much recommend, and go back!
Tilikum was my favorite restaurant we ate at during our weekend trip to Seattle. When I return, I will dine here for most of our meals.
Trendily eclectic menu. Very busy place, attesting to its quality. Waiters looked overworked. One of them had a bit of an attitude. All in all, a neighbourhood gem.
The Tilikum Place Café is a must visit every time I come to Seattle for business. The food is excellent, the wine list is great and prices are reasonable.
Visiting Seattle from NY. Came here with my wife and 4 couples last week and loved it so much came back again. Chicken is amazing as is the Halibut and black cod.
Everything is first-rate!
Have eaten here previous occasions when in Seattle. Had a chance to bring my wife and daughter and they loved it. Highly recommend it.
wonderful food, very accommodating with small children and food allergies.
The place is overrated. I had to book 20 days ago to get a spot but today the place was half-empty (at least the 30 minutes when I was there at around 10am).
Food (i.e., omelet) was okay, but nothing spectacular. Definitely on the expensive side for what it was.
I also ordered a freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice, but the waitress just took a bottle from under the counter and filled up my glass. I guess freshly-squeezed means something else here.
The worst part was that service: At the end of my stay, I payed by providing a 20% tip (although the service was far from it). Nevertheless, when paying the waitress looked at the money and the bill in front me and looked utterly disgusted while she visible moved her head in denial. This felt totally unprofessional, and frankly I'm not sure why she behaved this way. Wasn't a 20% tip enough for her?
Waitress a little snippy by the end of the evening.
Yes hi we were very happy with this restaurant it’s a shame we were leaving the next day on our trip around Canada and Alaska, The chef , waitress’s and staff were all good, food was excellent and atmosphere was good also.
Always an outstanding experience.
We had an amazing meal - Black Cod and Halibut were both great. This is my go-to restaurant for a great meal. There is a great selection of Manhattans to start with and the staff is great. The food never disappoints and the wines by the glass are nice selections.
Great place to eat! Their blackberry jam was the best!
Handcut pasta and baked oysters were outstanding. We went back two days later because we loved the food, Chateau Ducasse white Bordeaux wine and service. The second visit we had the Burrata salad with nectarines, cucumber and blueberries and the combination was surprisingly delicious. We will go every time we are in Seattle! We are going for brunch tomorrow because we heard from a local who sat next to us that it was even more amazing thank the pasta and baked oysters!!
Excellent food and wine. Best pork chop ever eaten. Side greens (inittially late) were particularly tasty
Very nice place for some breakfast. Went to try it while visiting Seattle. Mom liked it so much we went back the following day to have breakfast, again. The countertop seat for two people is perfect for people watching and enjoying the scenery. Highly recommend.
It’s hard to find a great, chef-owned and run restaurant in Seattle these days, and Tilikum is one. If you are looking at the menu online, know that they augment it with several specials each day.
The service was excellent - not too rushed and not too slow either. Both regular menu items and specials were creative, well executed and delicious. When I wasn't sure whether to order a particular variety of wine, our server offered to let me taste it first which I really appreciated. We tried the pasta appetizer which was simple and delicious and the oysters which were fresh, flavorful and plump. We followed that with the fish special and the steak both of which were cooked perfectly and perfectly sized. We ended with a sampler comprised of two sorbets and a stand out blackberry ice cream and the profiteroles with blueberry caramel - a decadent finish to a delicious meal. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere as well. It's worth a trip if you're in the Seattle Center neighborhood.
Awesome food!! Ordered omelette with goat cheese & onions, onion soups & sandwiches, definitely will go back again!
Awesome eats all-around! The weekend Dutch Babies are a good bucket list must!!
One again, great food and service. This is the most consistent place in Seattle. Creative menu with great flavors make it an interesting place to dine.
Lovely dining experience! Everything was exceptional, from the food to the friendly service. Definitely recommend this restaurant when you are in Seattle.
Service is very slow, our server is not attentive at all, waited for 20 minutes to get orders in, 45 mintues for our coffee and ran out of water without refills. Food is just ok but not that impressive at all.
Don't waste your time, try somewhere else
Loved it! Wonderful food and service. Will definitely be back any time we’re in Seattle
We went in for brunch on a busy weekend. The hostess was friendly and polite, and had us to our table within a couple minutes of our arrival. Our food was excellent, and we saw several other appealing options for a follow up visit!
The service that we received from one employee there was unacceptable. She was rude when she took our orders - she did not say anything to us, even though she sweetly asked other tables around us "Do you have any questions about the menu?" and made small talk with them. She just wrote down our orders and rudely and abruptly grabbed the menus away from our table and left without a word. My table was a table of three Chinese people ( we are all born and raised in the US) and everyone else around us was Caucasian. She clearly had a problem with us. All the other servers were very nice and accommodating to us. I will not be returning to this place and will not be recommending it to anyone.
The menu is limited and changes frequently- everything was absolutely delicious! Best pork I’ve ever tasted anywhere. Relaxed, comfortable vibe.

Tilikum Place Cafe is an absolute treasure. You will enjoy every minute you're there, and come away with delighted tastebuds and an overall feeling of contentment -- and a powerful urge to return as soon as possible!
Sending a deep and real thank you to all of the amazing staff for making me feel so welcome and so well tended to. Special shout-outs to Mario, Jake, Mima, Matt and Sarah -- and of course all of the gifted talent in the kitchen.
If you're dining as a 1 or 2, ask for one of the two-tops right in front of the windows (I'm partial to Table 10). That said, there's not a bad seat in the house and eating (and/or just drinking) at the marble bar counter is a special treat of its own.
I <3 Tilikum!
This is, without a doubt, the best neighborhood restaurant in Seattle.
It made me feel like I was in Europe, the smell of the food, the beautiful plated entrees, the palate was happy, the tummy in paradise (and I am from Hawaii). Very friendly service, and fun to look out the big scenic windows onto a cozy street with lots of leaves blowing around. So cozy!!!
My sister had a poached egg on a thick slice of toast which is soaked in red wine, and I ordered a crab quiche. I love both of them. Elegant flavor.
Brought out of town friends to Tilikum Cafe for dinner. It's our favorite restaurant in Seattle and they loved it. No fancy a
mbiance or view. Just beautifully prepared food.
