Tiki Terrace (Ka'anapali Beach Hotel) Ratings and Reviews
If you like seafood, this is a good value meal. Ample selection of Poke, Crab legs, and shellfish. Overall, the experience was okay, a lot of birds hang out inside of the overhang, which can provide an unwelcome surprise if you are unlucky enough to put your hand somewhere they have relieved themselves. I would likely not go again, but fun for a one time experience.
Food and bar service charged separately. Mahi mahi was over cooked. Food service was good and he was attentive. Bar service was awful and she was barely interested in serving us. Hawaiian music is played and good but too loud. We were near the back and could barely be heard. If you are sensitive to noise levels, stay away. So so menu choices.
We love taking our friends there when they come to visit. For the price you get such a variety of food and champagne. The entertainment of Hawaiian music by Kapali and JB is just wonderful and only adds to the ambience. The beautiful landscaping and plants and Hawaiian decor only adds to your experience. We were celebrating my sister-in-law's 70th birthday and she loved it. It can handle large groups as well as I remember one time we had over 20 people.
We came to Maui on our honeymoon and we were really looking forward to the food. On our last night there, we wanted to go somewhere close and we found this place right next door from us at the Sheraton. The ambiance was amazing. The service was fast and friendly. A live band was playing accompanied by Hula girls. The food was stunning as well. I had the beef tenderloin filet and my wife had the Hawaiian Lau Lau. Both absolutely delicious. Also, the Mai Tais there are fantastic. If you order the Tiki Tai, you get to take home the tiki mug it is served in as a souvenir. That was a huge bonus for me! Both of us had a great time.
The "bottomless" champagne has now been limited to 2 glasses per person! No notice other than a small sign as you enter the restaurant.
Buffet was ok (plenty of meat and seafood choices, not so good for vegetarians). Nice live music also playing during the meal.
The service was excellent and the staff remembered it was my sister's birthday and prepared a cake.
I must admit--- best Sunday brunch i have ever had (and my family agreed)!!! First and foremost the quality of the food was excellent. They had everything you could ever want and some stuff you didn't know you wanted! Our server Oliver was top notch, friendly, fast efficient and anticipated when we needed more mimosas! The Hawaiian music entertainment was the cherry on top and set the mood. We were impressed and will definitely come back next year!
Loved being able to dine and watch the luau. Our waiter was very polite and provided excellent customer service, including explains each course of the traditional Hawaiian meal that we ordered. Having a separate bar waiter was convenient, he did a good job keeping our table stocked. Kid friendly, the kids menu had a decent amount of options.
We were visiting Maui with 3 families and wanted a fun spot for our last night on the island. The Hawaiian music and hula dancing was fun for adults and children alike. The food was average. We were disappointed that we were charged for parking ($9) - after 2hrs validation - we were there only for dinner so the only reason we went over the 2hr time limit was the slow service.
