Our 5th stay at Kaanapali beach hotel and we always enjoy eating at the Tiki Terrace. I had a seafood dish with risotto, my husband had lamb chops. Both were amazing. The flavors were so good. Sometimes lamb has a different taste, if not cooked correctly. Not this, you couldn't even tell it was lamb. I sure wish I remembered our waiters name. He was super nice and needs a shout out. But really, everyone who works on the KBH grounds is amazing!
Good atmosphere with live music. Service was also good. Food was ok and was a little more expensive than we thought was appropriate for the food
Brunch was amazing. So many choices, so little time
Celebrated our anniversary
Delicious brunch; amazing selection of foods. Raw bar, omelet station, chocolate fountain to
Mention a few. Bottomless champagne. Attentive waiters. You are encouraged to
Stay and enjoy; not rushed out
Even live music
Great place for food, drinks, music and people watching. Love the musicians and dancers in the free stage show who are excellent entertainers.
We came over from Kihei and were not disappointed. Definitely one of the grandest breakfast/brunch spreads on the island.
Very local little hideaway with great music! Lots of delicious food and the chef was sweet enough to care for a friend with dietary needs. We had a wonderful brunch.
This is a really quirky but good find. We were a little skeptical at first because of the 50s/60s decor and zero other guests. However, the people started trickling in and the live entertainment - music and hula - began. The food was simple but well prepared and very flavorful. The waitstaff was attentive and the atmosphere delightful.
Food was yummy. Staff was great! Nice, island atmosphere.
An old Kaanapali hotel hosts this restaurant with their incredible variety of food offerings for Sunday Brunch. From seafood to salads to individually made omelettes to Hawaiian lomi lomi to beef and ham to delicious desserts, It would be hard to imagine Anyone going to this buffet and not finding a bounty of good food! Our server, Mark, was good, always smiling and attentive. Live entertainment of singers and sometimes local hula dancers adds to the fun of this brunch soot.
Unfortunately the menu through this app stated that lobster was an option, however, upon arriving at the restaurant, we looked at the menu and there was no lobster at all, we had to ask the waiter for it. There was also a cat walking around the tables begging for food. The servers were very friendly and kind but there was some lack in communication as we got two orders of the calamari delivered to our table instead of just the one. We also almost got two rounds of drinks instead of just the one.
Dreadful food, bland and hugely disappointing. drinks and food served separate at table so 2 bills. Music was awful and we could not wait to leave. Very overpriced!
Renato is the best server! I almost always get him and remembers my ID lol! Thank you for great customer service renato!
We reserved for 2 for Sunday Brunch. It was not especially busy at 9:00 am. Food selection was excellent. Very nice variety. They kept our champagne glasses topped off. We really enjoyed ourselves. The Hawaiian music was so so, but overall a great experience.
Went here last night for dinner and had a wonderful evening. Found out Friday’s nights they preform so we had dinner and a show! The food was good only my husband ordered the special of the day and kept receiving bones in his dish, so that made it less than desirable. We had let them know we were celebrating our honeymoon via the app and they were so thoughtful to have brought us not only the cutest but also best dessert we’ve had since we have been here, complementary. We adored that, all and all it was a great night.
Excellent service !!! Food was once again outstanding !!! The Hawaiian entertainment was first class !!! We look forward to coming back again !!!
We really enjoyed our meal! Service was excellent! Food was good. Price was similar to the burger joints on the beach, but we had steak and red snapper. Soup and salad does not come with the meal so we did have to pay extra for that. However, the entertainment was so awesome! Great to have dinner with an amazing live Hawaiian band. The place must have been so cool when it opened! The only thing is there is a musty smell now. There is a small beautiful flower on each table, but it can’t overcome the smell coming from the circus like big top canopy that is used for dining, and possibly the carpet. Recommend this restaurant.
The staff was so wonderful we came back a second time! Food was great too!
We had an amazing time! The food was some of the nicest we’ve had during our stay here on Maui. We had a 2 year old and a 4 year old with us and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a band playing and hula dancers which provided excellent entertainment. One of our best nights on vacation so far!
Amazing experience and great food. Live music and a hula show. I’m so glad we stayed here and had dinner there.
The menu on open table is not accurate. The menu in the restaurant had far fewer selections. There was a Hawaiian band that was very enjoyable and some hula dancers which added to the fun.
Good food and entertainment at a reasonable price. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful.
The food is always fabulous here, but the service was very slow this time. Mayweather really long time to find my server to both get champagne and to pay my bill. Although I had a reservation, I was told that I would have to wait 20 minutes for my table because she had to service the walk-ins before me. Not really sure what good it was making a reservation here if that's their procedure
If this is the best Sunday brunch on Maui, I say don't bother with Sunday brunch on Maui. Considering this is Hawaii, where seafood should be outstanding, the local offerings were almost nonexistent. No snapper. No ono. The salmon was okay (not great) but salmon is NOT a Hawaiian species. There were a total of TWO sushi offerings and none of them were noteworthy. No ahi. No sashimi of any kind at all. It was like being back on the mainland, not Hawaii. The carving stations and omelet bar were just like anything you would find at a mid-price mainland hotel--for a lot less than $50 per person! On the plus side, the entertainment was great and our table server was attentive and cheerful.
Number one choice for my family and friends! Great service, amazing food, and wonder workers!! Will go again.
Food was fine. Seating is all outdoors and covered, but if you sit in the front to view the show you'll be sitting in the sun. In 90 degree humid weather, this is sub-optimal, ended up relocating. Service was quite good, very attentive to our waters and checking in on us. Took about 40 minutes to get our meal though, and it wasn't busy at all. I'd hate to see it when it's packed. I had the Hawaiian Lau Lau and it was fine. Had the poke appetizer seared and it was quite good. We wanted to stay for more of the show but we were hot, sweating, and tired. Prices are steep ($100-ish with tip for 3 adult meals, one appetizer, and one meal off the children's menu, waters only), but seems par for the course with other restaurants in the area.
I got the Hawaiian meal which had fresh awesome fruits & vegetables & really flavorful fish. It was really good. We enjoyed the live music & hula dancing show while we ate.
We made a reservation for 800 and they callednus 10 minutes before 8 to see if we were comming. We.arrived 5 min till 8 and had to wait at least 20 min with a reservation. As people were checking in, it didnt seem to manner if there was a reservation or not becUse everyine got put into the same line up. Otherwise the food was good and the staff was friendly
This was a pleasant surprise. The hotel looks a little dated but the restaurant food, atmosphere and service was fabulous. Would definitely recommend.
Staff were very professional and personable...very attentive to our needs...Mark did a great job even though he had other larger parties to take care of...he is very knowledgeable and helpful...
Family loved it, great experience, highly suggested.
Sat in a room with other “Brunch” people, thought we would be able to sit outside, but were not even given the option. The service was only ok. Took forever to find and ask someone to give us water.
The food was pretty good with many options, but we had to wait to eat our cracked crab that wasn’t cracked, because we had to find someone to ask for a cracker.
The ambience left a lot to be desired
Love this place and the show is so good. Nice ambiance. The service is not bad for the island, and food was good although liked old menu better. Get the dessert with bananas & chocolate cake, ask for it on a plate instead of the bowl. Or get to go & enjoy it while watching show in chairs under the stars in front of restaurant. Aloha
Place looks old but clean. It was very hot that day and cold food like oysters were warm. They were not fresh and when we requested to get new ones out they just put the new ones on top of the old warm ones! The bottom ones were spoiled! Hot food selections were ok but again seems like it sat there for awhile. Service was very good but for the price of Sunday brunch it’s not worth it.
Two of us have celiac disease and chef Chris spoke to us and took us through every bit of food on the Buffett to make us aware. He also arranged for fresh meat, fruit and seafood to be plated and brought to our table.
We did give notice via open table when booking of the allergies.
A very comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Wanted to try for a while and heard great things! Was a fun experience..
We went for Sunday brunch and they had a huge amount of food. I had scrambled eggs at the omelet bar with the various vegetables/meats. There was seafood, meats, Kailua pork which was great, desserts, waffles, juices, everything a buffet should have. They had a couple of gentlemen up on stage playing and singing. We had come back after having dinner last Thursday night. It’s a comfortable place. Very friendly staff. The hotel you can tell was most likely built in the 1960’s/70’s maybe? But wonderful open property that’s very peaceful.
Our dinner at the Tiki Terrace was wonderful! We plan to go again before we leave Maui! We visit Mama’s Fish House every time we come to the island and I can honestly say that the meal that I had at the Tiki Terrace was just as delicious. Mama’s does have terrific ambiance, as it’s right on the ocean, but my fish was just as tender and delicious at Tiki Terrace. My husband and I ordered the Lava Flow (delicious) to drink. I ordered Calamari as my appetizer and he ordered the prosciutto salad. I will be getting the prosciutto salad next time. The calamari was great, but the salad was unique and wonderfully fresh. I especially loved the yellow beets. And, the anchovy lemon dressing was terrific! We ordered the same entree, the pink salmon (sorry, I forgot the Hawaiian name) and it was the most tender and delicious fish! It was prepared with butter, mushrooms and some truffle oil. It was outstanding. I will be ordering it again! I saw some of the other entrees being brought out to other tables and everything looked scrumptious! There is entertainment during dinner, which is an added bonus. I can’t wait to eat there again! We will be adding Tiki Terrace to our list of “must visit” restaurants.
Always a good choice when staying at KBH to visit the Tiki Terrace for dinner. Reserve early and get a table facing the stage, and enjoy the hula show while you dine along with a cocktail from the Tiki bar. Food is very good and affordable for Maui.
