We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. From the valet to the wait staff to the sales person in the gift shop, the Enchantment Resort was a first class experience. The views were amazing at Tii Gavo and the food was our favorite in Sedona. We highly recommend it.
This is the second time we have dined here. We were welcomed back and treated so nicely. We had the corner table, with glass on both sides, so nestled into the red rocks. The food was very good. My dad ordered a salad and it was artfully presented. Others had burgers and wraps, which i am told were very good. I had the chipotle shrimp flatbread which had just the kick i was looking for. Will definitely come back the next time in Sedona.
Some of the service staff were oblivious to customer comforts. Others were good. Our seats were wet and the woman who cleaned them informed us after we had sat down "oh, that's because I just wiped them down" -- missing an opportunity to forewarn us. Food was creative and tasty. Hype is overstated, but the venue is appealing.
Hostess was doing a poor job seating folks, and they were hardly busy.
We had a few appetizers to share and everything was yummy. Certainly can’t beat the view out the window of the red rocks.
Enjoyed the ambiance. Very nice staff.
The surf and turf flat bread was delicious! Great patio and the view spectacular!
Beautiful setting, nestled in the middle of amazing views of the red rocks.
New Year’s Eve
Great food and service
The breathtaking, unbeatable view was the allure of this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The street tacos were good, the avocado wedges were not. Drinks were above average but pricey.
The menu is a little limited and is more for lunch rather than dinner. The food is excellent and the view exceptional. The resort is out of the way but that adds to its charm. We had guacamole to start, a glass of wine and two beers with fish tacos and a BLT &T, finishing with a shared dessert. The bill was about $90 for the two of us.
Not very warm welcome
We asked for patio seating and were told no sun, no heaters
There were heaters and abundant sun just needed to push the staff to do it
Everything Ela was ok
We where amazing of the Resort but the food is NOT suitable for the Resort, Street Tacos was Bad Meat cold, tortillas cold we return the Dish then i Order a BLT bacon was cold and i can see the white fat just on the Bacon we have to eat it because we drove from phx just to have a special date and they surprise us with the 1 Star Food
Creative upscale menu and price at Enchantment Resort in Sedona, Arizona. Romantic, great ambiance and view. Good service. A bit pricy and food creativity great but a bit disappointing.
Wonderful view. Food was mediocre, but it was happy hour food. Wine was excellent.
We had a lovely table outside. Our waiter was prompt and very accommodating. It started to get chilly and he lined up two heaters around us. Wine selection was very good and food was delicious. Beautiful view as well. Just make sure you know the way out if not staying there. Roads are very dark and phone reception is limited.
Incredible setting and views! The food was good and the service great!
Generous portions of creative dishes with a southwestern flavor.
Great food, quiet noise level, and fantastic service
The menu was exceptional… From appetizers, to entrées, to dessert. My husband commented that the shrimp and grits entrée was the best meal he has ever had in his life. The view and environment is certainly worth traveling for, as well.
Good value bottle of wine ($55 pinot noir - forget the winery). My chimichanga was disappointing. It had both green and red sauce (fingernails on a blackboard), was half full of beans, and was hard to access having been placed at the bottom of a deep bowl. My guests were pleased with their meals and raved about the setting, of course.
When you’re paying $18 for guacamole and $16 for street tacos you expect a friendly and welcoming reception, pleasant and attentive service, and really tasty food. The entire experience fell well below expectations.
The hostess never broke a smile or welcomed us to the restaurant, but simply asked for our name and time of reservation. The waiter was difficult to flag down and seemed burdened by our existence. The menu and product description sounded very appetizing but were really poorly executed. One might have desired a larger portion if the food was any good... but the meager portions were more than enough.
I would never visit this restaurant again or recommend it to anyone.
Convenient since had just driven from Vegas . Great food . Shrimp cerviche appetizer excellent. Would return
One of the most beautiful settings I’ve ever seen!!!
Poor service and mediocre food.
Great service, great food , spectacular scenery!
We enjoyed the corn nachos! We added chicken and it was a terrific meal. You can’t beat the view . Gorgeous! Our only complaint was the service was a little slow and and the restaurant was not that busy. We had to ask for our refills on Ice-T each time. Over all loved it and I would go back. As a bonus you can show your receipt to the concierge and get a gate key to hike into Boynton Canyon.
Go easy on food so you can get dessert! We were too full but food/wine wonderful!
We had lunch there with our two young kids and waited over a hour to get our food. Service was slow and not very friendly. The views are amazing but the food is so so. They have great a margaritas and homemade sodas but the overall experience was quite disappointing. Go for a drink not for food
We had lovely drinks and an appetizer on the patio but when our table was ready we were seated next to a table with two young women and two toddlers. Then, even though it was a table for 4, 3 more adults and 3 more toddlers joined them - the kids were obviously exhausted and screaming and yelling at each other. We ended up leaving, and will not go back. The hostess or manager should have addressed this situation rather than ruining dinner for a whole dining room of people.
The best part of this restaurant for us was the amazing view. We sat outside and saw the other side of the canyon as if we could reach out and touch it. Although it was a cloudy evening, we were lucky because a ray of sun broke through for a short time and illuminated part of the rocks at some distance.
We enjoyed the food, though I wouldn't rave about it. We had the guacamole with corn and the street tacos. I had a red sangria, which was one of the best I have ever had.
A most wonderful view with great food/drink! Hand made Aguas Frescas! Ginger! Thank you Brion for the great service and recommendations!
The menu had very nice offerings. The dressed guacamole was not worth the $20 we paid for it and the jalapeño over powered the taste. The variety sampler of tacos was delicious and they were accommodating for a vegetarian option of the enchiladas. All in all the scenery is what sells for this restaurant.
A beautiful place to dine. The wait staff was very attentive. The tacos are great, having had them before. But this time I had the vegetarian flat bread. The goat cheese was dry making the dish taste like it had been made beforehand and just heated up. If we go back, I'm back to tacos.
We stopped here for lunch during a recent trip to Sedona and totally loved it. The surroundings are awesome and the food is really excellent. Can't wait to go back!
The view from the outside patio is just remarkable. The food was incredible from start to finish. Omar was an excellent server. 10/10 would recommend.
Perfect in all aspects of dining, it is enchanting.
We went to this restaurant expecting something special but we're both disappointed - mostly because of the service. The Enchantment Resort seemed to be quite pretentious overall. Our server showed up at our table mere minutes after we were seated when we had barely opened our menus. She seemed to be rather pushy and it was discomforting.
We ordered drinks, an order of guacamole ($19.00!!!) and tacos. The food and drinks were good but $19 for guacamole? It was not priced on the menu because of "the fluctuating price of avocados".
When the server brought out our meals he accidentally spilled my whole drink in my lap, onto my feet and all over the floor ( a nice, sticky margarita). I get it was an accident but it was really unpleasant. The waitress said she wouldn't charge me for that one.....REALLY?? Just before we left, the manager stopped by to see how we liked our meal and I told ld him I liked the food but was a bit uncomfortable after being drenched. He said " oh yes, I heard that YOU spilled your drink". What??? I said, "no, that is not true. Your server spilled my drink in my lap". His way of making up for the issue was to not charge me for my drink and also take off one charge for my partners beer. IMO that was not nearly enough. First - his staff should not have lied about what happened and second - he should have comped our entire check.
The staff was very attentive. The red sangria was some of the best I've had. The skillet enchiladas and pork tacos were outstanding. The prices are a bit high for the type of food but what we had was outstanding. Ours was $40 per person with 1 drink each. Not the best value but the views are phenomenal added to the quality of food, drink and the good service made it worthwhile for our anniversary.
Would definitely go back if in the area again.
