Downtown Campbell doesn't have a lot of good, grown-up, date-night restaurants and it was nice to finally find one! The food was excellent: the gnocci was incredibly light and the grilled eggplant stack with buffalo mozzarella was delicious. But the star was the prosciutto on toast with fig jam that we started with. There is a huge charcuterie menu that we are excited to go back to try. The wine list is mostly Italian, a nice change from the CA wines we usually get.

The service was fair. I ordered a glass of Prosecco with my appetizer, and by the main course was ready for a glass of wine, but no one checked in with us until we were almost done. Friends have gone before and had notably good service, so it may have been just this server

Can be a romantic spot, but go with a group to fully enjoy the dining experience; sharing dishes and the charcuterie, and, of course, a couple of bottles of wine.

For the price of the food, I expect memorable. It was not. It was above average but nothing special. I expect a lot of more vegetable integrated in the menu since it is an organic restaurant. Service is a bit slow.

After receiving mixed reviews from my friends,I was a little unsure. However I found the food good and the service excellent. We are vegetarians so would have liked more vegetarian options but the ones we had were very good. Our wait person was super friendly and the restaraunt is quaint and nicely decorated.

My companion LOVED her dish, but mine arrived luke warm. The server was wonderful and offered me a fresh new dish. Then she surprised us with dessert, so that was excellent customer service. I've been to this restaurant before and I'll come again.

This is the second time I have eaten here and I was happy to see that I enjoyed it just as much. I used to live in San Francisco and have struggled to find comparable food that I truly enjoy in the South Bay. Tigelleria uses fresh high quality ingredients in their food and you can taste the love in their food. I will definitely be back!

the food was great! When we arrived they were full and the noise level was high. As it emptied it was quieter and easier to have a conversation. The service was great!

From the bread and spreads, to the appetizers and entrees, everything was fabulous! Sadly, we were too full to try their desserts...next time.

The food is wonderful—really fresh ingredients. Ordered the Caprese salad, which had the most delicious mozzarella—rich and creamy, not rubbery at all. And had the stacked chicken, with portabella mushrooms, grilled eggplant, cheese, great combinations of flavors cooked perfectly. A bit noisy, but a lively atmosphere.

The appetizer and deserts were good, but the main dishes were mixed. The tenderloin special was bad - you cannot roast a meat that does not have fat in it as it gets dry and tough. The other steak dish we had was tough as well. The raviolis had a good pumpkin filling but the dough was tough/chewy. The sea bas was very good. The service was stuffy and bit snooty. I would not bother to go back again. Frankly I think there is too much on their menu to do it all well.

We loved everything about Tigelleria! The citrus fennel salad was a perfect starter, the boar and pumpkin pastas were super-yummy and the tiramisu and chocolate cake were simply amazing. The ambiance was lovely. We were celebrating a birthday and looking for a romantic meal - Tigelleria delivered! We will go back as soon as we can!

Our dining experience was a fiasco! Service was slow and uncaring. Waiter Talks us into having our salads first, then our charcutterie course, followed by the entree, although it was against our better judgement. Waitress brought our salads with little flavor. She brings our entrees without first bringing our charcutterie, she talks to the waiter and the kitchen for five minutes before addressing us. Asks if we can have the charcuttierie plate after the entree! How can you eat smoked meats after your entree? Waiter could have cared less! Brought our entrees because they are already prepared and my husbands fish was full of bones! Disasterous dinner unfortunately as it was our daughter's birthday. Never saw an owner or manager.

This was our first visit. Very nice ambiance, nice Italian vibe. After being seated we were given these lovely little bread rounds, warm from the oven, and three really delicious spreads -- carrot, pea and olive. Such a great change from bread and oil/vinegar! I think they were actually my favorite part of the meal!

Nice cocktail list, although $12 for a fairly typical cocktail (I had a raspberry martini) seems steep. Maybe I'm just behind the times. So for our table of four we were $50 in right from the get-go!

All four entrees were good, but all overly salty, and I like salt. Service was good, although there was a very long wait for our starters, after which we were told they were out of the soup we ordered.

Solid three stars.

Loved this restaurant! My spinach salad was amazing, butterfly chicken was a bit dry but still very tasty. My daughter got the veggie pasta and it was terrific but my husband and son were not fond of the duck or boar. I will return for sure because I loved the ambiance, although it was very loud the energy was great and I was too full for the fabulous dessert menu so next time I am saving room!

I loved the cheese platter and bread discs, but thought the pasta dishes tasted bad. Greens were too bitter, pumpkin filling was far too sweet, eggplant tasted burned. I'd go back for the platters, but not the main dishes.

I visited you two times in the last two weeks. Your restaurant keeps a special place in my heart. I just celebrated my b'day there with other friends who had b'days the same day.
We felt that the service was superb, the food was more than outstanding. A true gem to tell others. You do an incredible job at making the customer feel truly cared for and taken care. Tigelleria is the top restaurant I have EVER been. Where were you till now? Keep doing what you are doing. Do not change anything. Thanks for offering something unique in an environment that fits families, couples looking for romance and someone who wants to experience eating out like an extraordinary time.

Speaking as someone who typically loathes organic food, this restaurant was simply amazing. Everything was delicious and healthy and I have a new respect for what a skilled chef can do with organic foods. Great spot for a date or for those looking for great Italian food that is also healthy.

Really good wine list of Italian wines by the glass.
Their cutting board dishes are really excellent.
In the past the speed of service was a negative. They took the slow food concept a little too far. This time it was so much better. Paced and pleasant.

Loved our second visit to Tigelleria! We are planning to visit as often as possible, especially since my husband is 100% Italian and knows what authentic Italian cuisine is all about. In fact, if his grandmother were alive, we would have to fib that her cooking was still the best in town. We are also looking forward to visiting at lunch in the very near future.

I had an amazing time. The waitress allowed and encouraged us to taste multiple wines before serving - this was a first and I really appreciated her offering and knowledge. As for the food, it was really just mouth-watering and beautifully served. I recommend the sea-bass. It was to die for.

I will definitely going back to try other dishes.

Fresh, amazing ingredients beautifully prepared by a talented chef. A true gem. We've never had a bad meal, or even disappointing course. Everything is perfect. Menu changes seasonally. Very romantic setting, projecting old Italian movies onto a wall, with cozy tables. A place to relax, eat, visit.

Great nook for a mature Italian dinner; a date, business dinner, even nicely behaved kids. Campbell Ave. has a nice sense for bringing in this kind of unusual tasty restaurant/bar. Staff seemed very personal. Easy going, while upscale in the choices of meats, cheeses. I WOULD add more olives and some quality olive oil to the mix; that's just my thing. But we'll be back again.

Good food. I would give McD's food a poor rating for comparative purposes. Great service. Tasty, strong 4th street (manhattan-esque) drink. Caprese salad for appetizer: Japanese black heirloom tomatoes paired very well with the basil and buffalo mozzarella. Pumpkin ravioli had good sauce, good filling but slightly overcooked pasta; I prefer al dente. My friend got something steak, cooked medium, cuttable with a butter knife, served with cubed potatoes and three tasty sauces. Overall, I have paid less for better food.

Great Charcuterie and wine selection. All food was full of flavor and richness but not heavy. We loved everything, but little problem with execution. Pasta filling was ice cold. They made new one that filling was burning hot and outside pasta was crumbly and doughy. Did they use Microwave? That was so sad, because first pasta had really nice texture. Entrée duck was really tasty. I wish they serve another vegetable in addition to pearl onions with duck. They are "Organic" restaurnt, so that would be great if they serve more seasonal veggies with entrée. Some negative experiences, but we definitely go back the restaurant and try different dishes. We’d like to order same dishes also. Again, all food taste was great!

We went to Tigelleria for our wedding anniversary. Our waitress, Jessica was attentive, friendly and energetic. The food was fabulous, and the atmosphere romantic. It is going to be our regular date night spot from now on.
If you are feeling adventurous, make sure to try the Gorgonzola Gelato with Pears. It was amazing!!

I'd have given the ambiance a higher rating, but it's pretty loud inside the restaurant. Love the decor though. The food is of a very high quality, both in ingredients and taste. The presentation is very nice, and the menu is a delight. Tigelleria reminds me of many of my favorite restaurants in Italy. The food is not "dumbed" down, it's sophisticated without being pretentious. I love it when my first bite of a dish makes me smile, this happened the other night. This is the second time we've been here and it's our favorite local restuarant.

The food is amazing!!! Service is a little slow, but if you signal to your server they will immediately respond. The restaurant is small so it's best to make a reservation. As it fills up it can get really loud. That is the only drawback.

I have become a regular at this establishment. Tigelleria has become one of those places you just kinda make your own. Everything is great about the place... and the fact that it is quaint and you are greeted by the same staff each time, almost makes it feel like it's "your place" whenever you visit. It's just a fabulous dining experience. The food is incredible, so tasty, so fresh... the service is the perfect combination of friendly and professional... and the ambience is classy, just right. Just get over there and have yourself a great dining experience. Trust me. I almost feel selfish wanting to keep it to myself, it's that special... But it is a restaurant -- and a very fine one at that -- so I want to share the experience with you.
