Tigelleria Organic Restaurant

We were here about 3 years ago and Tigelleria is still wonderful. We enjoyed all the entrees we ordered (4) as well as 2 of the desserts. Cocktail were very good, too. Service is attentive but nicely laid-back. We were there on a Monday night so it was probably a little quieter than other days. Nice ambiance - like sitting in someone's house.

The food was very good — however the the soup was served so hot two of us burned our mouths, and one of the entrees was then served cold. The service overall was spotty. The servers who came to our table were a bit rough and unpolished - and pushed for orders - but then very rarely came to check back in. Our previous experiences have been much better in all regards. We would come back hoping for service like we previously experienced.

Service is phenomenal and ambiance is charming. The food was good this time but usually outstanding. It’s ok - we’re still going back!!

I invited friends to dinner that had never been there. They loved it and we are planning a party in the small room in a few weeks. The food is so delicious , the staff is delightful and i love all the Italian ambiance.

Had a great birthday celebrations with friends. The food was delicious.
We had both a cheese and meat charcuterie to share. The cheeses were amazing, especially the truffle. We shared a kale salad which was crunchy and tasty. I had the Lambchops which were spiced just right. The Tortino al cioccolato (chocolate lava cake), was nicely matched with the amarena ice cream.
Topping it off, we had the ‘back room’ to ourselves, extra special. Only strange thing is the server left for the evening without telling us.

Always great food and attentive, but not overbearing service. It feels like the typical European style where your table is yours for the night.

We loved this restaurant, fantastic food, great vibe. Now it's lost it's luster, and the Italian flavors we enjoyed. The wild boar pasta was pork sausage with a sugary ragu.

I was astounded to be charged $44. For black garlic pasta!! A cup of pasta? And I added chicken!! &57.00!!!! For a cup of pasta and chick!!!

So so sad!!! We had no idea and loved our server and the experience until we got the bill.:(

As always, Tigelleria is the perfect place to have a beautiful, delicious authentic Italian meal with friends in a setting that lets you actually talk.

Gluten friendly! Great atmosphere, food and service.

The chef’s special salmon dish left my wife ill late that night. My lasagna was mushy and over cooked. The sirloin was good. The Manhattan was very well prepared by the bar tender. The dessert was good. Last time I had the wild boar dish and was also disappointed.

It has been years since we've been to Tigelleria but we went back on Friday and really enjoyed our dinner. Food was tasty, nice service, reasonably priced, easy parking, but TOO loud.... Hello? Put insulation in your ceiling so that diners can talk with each other instead of being drowned out by large, loud parties. Not cool.

The pasta was overcooked and salty.

Noise was intolerable We were in a room with12 preschool children and their preschool parents.

Food was outstanding but we were seated next to a very large party with little kids. Took too long to get our main course and the noise was loud with little kids running around. I had put on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, so I would have expected a quieter table. Our waiter was very attentive and once the good arrived it was worth the wait.

Food was OK but nothing special. Wait staff seemed unfamiliar with the menu. Ambiance was great -- like being in a friend's living room.

This is only of my favorite restaurants! They have something delicious on the menu for everyone, the service is excellent and the overall ambiance is perfect!

Excellent food and service. Recommend the appetizers and the arugula salad. We had the special with the homemade pasta. Everything was excellent. We would go back and have the early cocktail hour.

My husband and I were celebrating a very special occasion. Our last night in the house we lived in for 33 years. We had a lot of great restaurants to choose from. We finally decided on Tigelleria and we were so glad we did. From start to finish, this meal was perfect. From the specialty cocktails to the dark chocolate mousse with cherries, everything tasted delicious. Service was good. Restaurant was quiet and romantic. Sigh...Just what we needed.

Quaint little place. Came here to celebrate a birthday. Everything we had was amazing. From the Appetizers to the main course. Lots of Gluten free options that were great tasting. Service was wonderful and nicely timed to give us plenty of time to talk and enjoy each course.

The food was excellent and our server was very attentive and gave great food and drink suggestions. We would definitely eat there again!

Aside from the bread, everything was wonderful. Highly recommended.

It’s a beautiful space. I wish the food was better! My tagliatelle was undercooked. My husbands lasagna was mushy. The salad was delicious.

Not giving ambiance 4 starts because their project is broken and they usually project Italian movies on the wall, which is fantastic.

Food was incredibly yummy and service amazing. A very enjoyable time.

We invited two friends who enjoyed their food. But the vegan options for my husband and me were mediocre, without imagination and both the pasta and the polenta lacked sauce.
I would not recommend for vegans or vegetarians.

This was a return visit after having had a great experience about a year ago. This time though, it was very different. The highlights, and what matched our prior visit, was the service and the appetizer (the ricotta croquettes). From there, things degraded; one of our entrees was very salty, almost to the point of it not being edible. The gelato (which we had been quite impressed with last time) was bad; it was full of chunks of ice. The "espresso" (or really, cafe moka, not true espresso), was undrinkable.
Disappointed in short, and a place we will never return to, as the price point is too high for such a mediocre experience.

Beautiful ambience. The wait staff is thoughtful with insight for just the right balance of checking on our table, being accessible and if we were deep in conversation, very courteously pausing off to the side. Wonderful flavors. Hearty portions as we shared some items and were quite satisfied. Definitely will go back.

Came to the restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The Crab Gnocchi was divine!

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here and loved every minute. The food and drinks were excellent, as well as the service and surroundings. We loved the pasta with wild boar ragu, and the fillet was amazing! The Italian mousse and the limoncello were to die for!

DELICIOUS meal! The pasta special - farfalle with short ribs and a mushroom sauce was outstanding, great dish to share along with a sampling of the kale salad and charcuterie. A lovely evening with friends with great food and wine - will be back!

I don’t know what happened to tigelleria ! —- we often chose it for business dinners & special occasions but judging by the lack of diners on a Saturday eve && major change of menu (whole branzino was eliminated!) , I suspect something major has happened . All the pastas were lackluster (except one ) , lamb did not taste fresh & was very underwhelming (particularly since the pan roasted potatoes were cold & soggy) . Desserts were also not up to par (panna cotta jelled hard) & tea was lukewarm . Hard to recommend anything except the tigella .

Great restaurant. Truly authentic Italian. You will feel like you are in Italy. The staff is wonderful!! Truly a neighborhood gem!!
