   What a find! Just moved to Camarillo and it’s been kinda a fine ding desert until last night! Wow who knew! In Oxnard in the business park was the phenomenon gem!

   There is a complete change in the kitchen and the staff There is no more prefixe menu which we had enjoyed previously. It was obvious the staff was learning and training still. The emphasis is now steaks. The ribeyes we had were good but not outstanding. Not disappointed but not overly impressed. We have been there for dinner numerous times so we have a basis for comparison.

    We enjoyed the holiday by driving to the restaurant and having lunch. From Our first steps into the winery to the last part of our delicious chocolate soufflé our experience was exceptional. We will return again and again and again. And you should too!

    Enjoyed the experience for all above stated reasons. Food prepared well, service very attentive and knowledgeable, environment pleasant, and really appreciated the lack of noise. Only thing I can take exception to is, after establishing a set menu, no need for additional cost.

    Excellent meal. One of us had the lunch prix fix 3 course lunch and the other had a burger. Beautiful presentation, spacious, ambient, dining, and fresh fresh dessert and salad. It was a delightful experience, and loved the self guided walking wine tour one could do oneself at Herzog winery. A compelling family story. Our only critique is that the wines by the glass and the bottle were pricey. Had they been more reasonable we might have had a few. (We do belong to another kosher wine club). Easy to find and park, and a welcoming atmosphere.

    The food and service were excellent! We went for our anniversary & we felt very celebrated. Tori provided the best service. We arrived early & did a bit of wine tasting. Although we aren’t really wine drinkers we enjoyed what we sampled. Thank you for a truly wonderful dinner.

    ABUNDANT(buffet) QUALITY-uneven, carving station excellent. Chafers kept full but indifferent treatment to seafood. Condiments fairly flavorless. SERVICE-uneven, when asking for more sparkling wine brought a water glass of flat wine. Other servers efficient and anonymous-as expected. AMBIENCE- most excellent. Quiet, respect to space of others. We'd like to go back to experience other aspects of the establishment.

    Few choices. Heavy on the beef. Not enough variety. And much much too expensive. Also the linguine was greasy and average; not especially tasty. We find that although Pat’s restaurant is less fancy it is much more consistent with its cuisine with greater variety at a more reasonable price. Tierra Sur has become less arttractive and not deserving of its high regard. I hope that in the future you will try to correct these failures in an attempt to regain your status as a leading kosher restaurant. Rabbi Chaim Seidler-Feller

    The menu and food was better before the pandemic, everything scaled back and more expensive. No bread served or offered, no refill for soda, no coffee available. Overall disappointing experience especially as we were celebrating a 70th birthday. Also, charging a tasting fee of $25 per person when you’ve spent $250+ on lunch is not cool. We bought some wine so tasting was waived but really put me off.

    One of the absolute finest restaurants in the country, that happens to be Kosher. With local farm to table ingredients, an array of menu choices, and bursting with flavor dishes plus wines. Servers were attentive, efficient and well versed in all areas of menu details, ingredients and wines. After reading about Tierra Sur years ago this met our high expectations and it was well worth it. Looking forward to return when visiting next.

    Prix fixe menu was tasty along with a nice wine pairing - service was some of the best I've ever seen at a kosher restaurant. Ambience was rugged and spacious but could be more comfortable. Recommend!
