Lovely evening _ beautiful spot to celebrate our anniversary. Server was great and food delicious !
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Well worth the price.
Food was cold when served.
This visit was my first and also my 24th Wedding Anniversary. When the waiter arrived at the table, he never said anything or gave wishes at least to my wife regarding our 24th anniversary which I did mention in the special occasion block of the reservation. My wife order the filet mignon well done and recommended that they butterfly it to ensure it was cooked. I ordered the prime ribeye medium well. Her filet mignon came out rare and my ribeye was well done. The night was a disaster. We did have the waiter look at the filet to see for himself that it was rare. He did offer to remove that from the bill. I requested to have the bill brought and then he brought out a desert for our anniversary. Totally not the type of energy that I expected. First visit and last visit to Tidepools. Not worth the money for cheap service.
Delicious food. Setting was very nice. Enjoyed the koi fish.
Food was so yummy and our server was great!!
Our waiter Les was outstanding ,he made our dining experience exceptional. Food and ambience could not have been better
While the setting is very nice with many lovely tables overlooking lighted and active areas of the koi pond, our table was near a dark area with few fish and lots of scum bubbles. The food was way overpriced and not as good as one would expect for the around $50/entree prices. We were looking forward to an amazing and romantic dining experience but were disappointed.
Great food and table next to the koi pond. Drinks were so-so. Service was excellent, attentive but not hovering.
The new tempura lobster was delicious! The malasada dessert was just perfect.
One of our favorite places on Kauai.Great food and atmosphere.
Absolutely recommend....gorgeous atmosphere!! Staff was amazing and food was FABULOUS!!!
We had reservations, checked in and apparently were forgotten. We had requested a table by the lagoon and were seated in the center of a room with what seemed like a spotlight on us. The lobster was very good or the evening would have been a disappointment especially given the prices.
Service got progressively worse as the night went on. For such an expensive place we would have expected better. Limited menu
Amazing food, great people and service . Will be going be back.
Spectacular setting and excellent food. It is a bit pricey so it is not a place to go every day.
Pleasantly surprised with the quality and value for a resort hotel. Our waiter, Les, went above and beyond quality service and made our first experience so memorable we came back the next night and requested him. We found that all the staff here were friendly and helpful. Only down side was I don’t prefer my lobster boiled so if I order again in future will ask them to broil it. The rib eye was the best we have had in years even at top steak houses.
Our server was Marta and she was beyond outstanding. She helped create a memorable experience that will continue to bring us back year after year.
Loved these fish, both on the plate and in the water
We enjoyed the evening-good was good but not great. Keoki’s seafood is much better.
Great Hawaiian food served in a great ambiance with excellent serive.
The ambiance was absolutely incredible with the upscale thatched roof bungalows over the koi ponds in the open air with glass panels in some areas to block the wind. There was even a white swan that lived in the ponds. Fusion island music played in the background, adding to the ambiance that I loved so much. The style was unique -with painted pottery and pretty silver ware. Our server was very good and seemed to truly love her job which always makes the experience extra enjoyable. Our table buzzer was wonderful and attentive as well. I started my meal with a cappuccino which was fantastic with perfectly foamed milk and sugar cubes on the side. I got stevia on the side with mine which is a rare find. The Thai coconut soup followed which was smooth with a touch of spice. The flavor of the ribeye was very good but over cooked. The broccolini was delicious and tender. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would return again and again if I could!
Lovely setting - super friendly waiter - yummy food. What's not to like?
The service was good. I felt we were very close to the traffic in and out of our area so it was a bit distracting. My Caesar salad was very mediocre but the fish was excellent.
Loved our meals. Service was good.
Such a lovely setting. We have dinner here every year when we visit Kauai. The food is amazing and the service is great. It’s a little spendy but so worth it.
Every dish was wonderful as was each part thereof. And, it was made all the more enjoyable by Les, our waiter. He didn't describe the ingredients in each menu item, he described what we would experience while eating it - much more important. Atmosphere was casually elegant and, Hawaiian.
Great place in Poipu. Food is very good (Beef/Fish/tofu- no poultry). Dinner reservation a must. The other option for walk ins is the bar- same food. Enjoy.
Wonderful service. Close attention to our dietary requirements. All the dishes were exceptionally flavorful and well balanced. Desert was a huge and happy surprise.
And the venue is something very special.
Thanks for making my wife's birthday celebration so memorable.
The food was excellent, but the whole experience was spoiled be given the worst table in the house. Despite having made a reservation several days earlier for two, we were shown to a table for four in a major traffic path. We asked about changing, and the hostess said it would be a 30-45 minute wait for another table. We foolishly accepted the table offered. The waiters, through no fault of their own, would jostle the table going by. It was not pleasant.
This seems to be a little hidden treasure of the Poipu area.
Good quality all around and while the setting has no ocean view, it is outstanding!
Well done, Hyatt.
Food and service both fantastic
Beautiful setting, great food and the service was fantastic.
Food was amazing, service very my good and overall ambience beautiful
This was supposed to be a romantic dinner, but they sat us next to a loud group of 60 + people which ruined the ambience. Food was decent. Customer service was just ok
Birthday dinner on vacation in Hawaii. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food excellent service!!! If you like immersive dining this is perfect. The view is amazing, you’re protected rain or shine and the koi swim right below you/next to you. Really feels like you’re out on the water. The macadamia crusted mahi mahi was as amazing, as was the prime rib and molten chocolate cake (which the server comp-ed for the birthday girl!). Obviously a very expensive dinner, but well worth it for the overall great experience.
Great service! Wonderful food. Won’t regret
We were at table 42
Awesome seating, meal, Doug
The best of everything
We will be back Sharon when we're on island
The food was fantastic. Portion size was perfect. Exceptional views & location
